Pakistan won the Commonwealth Beach Handball Championship after defeating Sri Lanka 2-0 in the final played in the Maldives on Monday.
The team sealed the victory with commanding wins of 26-18 and 28-12 in the decisive match, remaining unbeaten throughout the tournament.
OnSunday, Pakistan booked their spot in the final by beating Bangladesh in the semifinal.
The team also made a strong start to the tournament by outclassing India 2-0 in their opening match.
