Actor and host Javeria Saud has sparked a storm online after claiming that couples who appear “perfect” often have hidden problems, and that overly caring husbands might actually be cheating.
During a recent morning show appearance, Javeria spoke about infidelity in marriages and said, “If you look beyond dramas and see a couple in real life whose life looks perfect, everything seems fine, and the husband is taking extra care of his wife, it means he has an extramarital affair.”
She explained her reasoning, saying, “He does this so that his wife doesn’t suspect anything. He gives gifts and shows care to gain her trust.”
Javeria also added a touch of humor by sharing her own example: “If my husband Saud is a little too sweet to me, I immediately ask, do you need something from me? Is there any issue or some affair going on? Later, I find out it’s something about the kids or a small favor.”
Her comments quickly went viral, with social media users flooding the internet with mixed reactions. One user wrote, “Acha je aisa hai kiaaa.” Another said, “It means my husband is loyal because he doesn’t give me gifts.”
Some found her statement absurd, commenting, “Kitni jahalat hai wesy yaha mtlb kuch b,” and “It doesn’t make any sense.” Others criticized her for overthinking relationships, saying, “Bai kisi baat pe to khush ho jao, khyaal rakhyn tb masla, na rakhyn tb masla.”
