A Bengaluru-based advocate and a former convener of the Indian militant Hindutva youth organisation Bajrang Dal have filed police complaints seeking an FIR against Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan for public indecency, obscene gestures, insulting the modesty of women, and disturbing public order, Indian meda have reported.
Advocate S Owaiz Hussain from Sankey Road and Tejas A Gowda from Jayanagar filed the complaints.
Hussain said he filed the complaint on behalf of the public, demanding immediate action against Aryan Khan for his conduct at a party held at a pub in Ashoknagar police limits on November 28.
A video of Aryan Khan making the obscene gesture at the venue has gone viral. The incident sparked public outrage.
Several women were present at the party when Aryan Khan flipped the middle finger. The complaint described the act as vulgar, sexually suggestive, and humiliating, and said it directly insulted the modesty of women.
Tejas Gowda also requested strict police action against Aryan Khan and urged authorities to act against Mohammed Haris Nalapad, son of BDA chairman NA Haris, and Zaid Khan, son of Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan, who were reportedly present at the pub.
Home Minister Dr G Parameshwara said police are investigating the matter and action will be taken based on their findings.
