‘Muin me khaak’: Hina Bayat grills Maryam Nawaz for her recent statement about ‘Purana Pakistan’

Senior actor Hina Khwaja Bayat has been trending on social media platforms for making a video on PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz after the latter went viral for claiming the country is about to land back in ‘Purana Pakistan’.

The political figure is also being trolled for stating, “Mainay pehle he kaha tha ke geedar ki khaal pehen kar koi Nawaz Sharif nahi bansakta. (I have said this before, no one can wear the coat of a jackal and claim to be Nawaz Sharif).”

In a video message shared on Bayat’s Instagram, she expressed her disdain towards Nawaz’s desire, adding a few wishes of her own. Before doing either, she clarified that she has never wished to use harsh words in a conversation with or about anyone, but Nawaz has left her with no choice.

Main ne aj tak kabhi nahi chaha ke main kisi ke baray men, ya kisi ke liye, koi sakht alfaz istemal karun. “I pray to God that may we never have to go back to Purana Pakistan, the Pakistan your party and its alliants had created. May the Lord protect Pakistan from the enemies within and without,” added the Khuda Aur Muhabbat actor.“May He protect our forces, and the leaders who want nothing but the best for this country. May He be our guiding force, this is the prayer of a true Pakistani,” she concluded.

The Khuda Aur Mohabbat 3 star also tagged Nawaz in the caption of her video writing, “May Allah Ta’ala protect our beloved country from the enemies beyond our borders and those who create fitna (conflict) within!”

It is pertinent to note here that PML-N vice president recently said that PM Imran Khan’s governing days are numbered. She referred to the country as a plan that will soon be landing back or go back to being Purana Pakistan (the Pakistan before Khan came into power).

Bayat is a veteran Pakistani actor whose renowned appearances include Uraan, Ishq Gumshuda, Aunn Zara, Humsafar, Zindagi Gulzar Hai, Muqaddas and Shehr-e-Zaat and Baaghi. She also appeared in the ZEE5 web-series Churails.

  • Intel to launch world’s fastest 5.5 GHz CPU on April 5

The Core i9-12900KS processor from Intel which is also claimed as the “world’s fastest CPU” will be released on April 5, 2022. Expert PC builders will demonstrate their abilities by putting together a number of PCs, presumably around the new alder lake processor, at the Intel talking tech event, which will be streamed on Twitch.

The ‘KS’ version of Intel’s flagship, which effectively features the high-end 12900K silicon capable of being pushed to higher clock speeds and can boost up to 5.5GHz, is advertised as the ‘world’s fastest desktop processor’.

However, this speed can only be achieved for a short period of time on a single core, with the rumor mill claiming that the all-core boost will be 5.2GHz which again is really amazing.

Given that we have already seen or heard of the forthcoming flagship advertised on some websites, it is no surprise that the introduction of Intel’s Core i9-12900KS is so close.

As Intel claims that the 12900KS is the “world’s fastest” desktop CPU considering the clock speeds, what PC customers and heavy gamers really want to know is how well it works in real-world applications and high-end games.

Keeping in view the overall hype, it does not seem like it is going to disappoint the PC builders or gamer’s community.

  • Pakistani assembled Chery Tiggo SUVs to be delivered in June 2022

Ghandhara Nissan Limited (GNL) has officially opened bookings for Chery Tiggo 4 Pro and Chery Tiggo 8 Pro, introduced with an ex-factory price of Rs 4.6 million and Rs 6.6 million respectively.

The booking price of Tiggo 8 Pro is Rs 1.5 million and that of Tiggo 4 Pro is Rs 1 million and the expected delivery time for both models is June 2022.

The company partnered with Chinese Chery Automobile Co Ltd. for local assembly and distribution of the Tiggo SUV series in 2021. Chery Tiggo will now be the 12th locally assembled SUV in Pakistan.

GNL said it had started assembling the SUVs and would be delivering the first batch of the vehicles in April at its authorized dealerships. Chery Tiggo 4 is a 1.5L Turbo five-seater vehicle, while Tiggo 8 Pro is a 1.6L Turbo seven-seater SUV.

Considering the Auto Development Policy (ADP) 2016-21, Toyota Fortuner was the only locally assembled SUV in Pakistan.

However, nearly a dozen SUVs were introduced after the auto industry was encouraged by the government and new entrants started stepping into the local auto market of Pakistan.

Tiggo 8 Pro will compete against 7-seater vehicles in the local market, including the most popular Toyota Fortuner, and the offerings from new entrants: Changan Oshan X7 Comfort, DFSK Glory 580 Pro, as well as Kia Sorento. While the Tiggo 4 Pro will be a direct rival to 5-seater crossovers like KIA Stonic, MG ZS, and the newly introduced Peugeot 2008.

As per the news outlet’s sources, Awan did not demand a ticket from her constituency Sialkot.

Geo News further revealed that the PML-N’s top leadership discussed the matter for ten minutes.

However, Awan was not given any assurance regarding her addition to the party and was told to contact the PML-N leadership in Punjab.

It is pertinent to mention that Awan has been not seen by the public on mainstream media for quite a while.

‘Oscar jeet gaya magar izzat hargaya’: Transnational celebrities blast Will Smith for slapping colleague at Oscars

Transnational celebrities have reacted with a mixture of shock and anger after Hollywood actor Will Smith slapped comedian and host Chris Rock on stage at the Oscars.

    https://twitter.com/AkronTees2020/status/1508304686339743747?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1508304686339743747%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.koimoi.com%2Fhollywood-news%2Foscars-2022-will-smith-slaps-chris-rock-over-a-joke-on-jada-pinkett-smith-netizens-react-with-hilarious-memes%2F

Comedian Rock, who was presenting an award, made an on-stage joke about Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s hair loss, which is due to alopecia, saying “Jada, can’t wait for GI Jane 2.”

Smith walked up on stage and struck Rock before returning to his seat and shouting: “Keep my wife’s name out of your f***ing mouth.”

Smith later apologised in a tearful best actor acceptance speech, declaring: “Love will make you do crazy things”.

    https://twitter.com/Abhimanyu___/status/1508295459093487616?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1508295459093487616%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.koimoi.com%2Fhollywood-news%2Foscars-2022-will-smith-slaps-chris-rock-over-a-joke-on-jada-pinkett-smith-netizens-react-with-hilarious-memes%2F

The celebrities have mostly condemned this act of violence by the talented actor.

“I’m being called on in my life to love people and to protect people and to be a river to my people,” Smith said. “I know, to do what we do, we’ve gotta be able to take abuse.

“You’ve gotta be able to have people talk crazy about you. In this business, you’ve gotta be able to have people disrespecting you. You’ve gotta smile and pretend that that’s okay.”

But director Judd Apatow called the incident “pure out of control rage and violence” on Twitter.

“He could have killed him. That’s pure out of control rage and violence. They’ve heard a million jokes about them in the last three decades. They are not freshman in the world of Hollywood and comedy. He lost his mind,” he wrote on Twitter.

“Seems like Will Smith’s plan to get comedian and the world to not make jokes about him is not going to pan out. The Williams family must be furious. Pure narcissism,” he added.

“Also — GI Jane was gorgeous. What exactly is insulting about being compared to a ripped, stunning Demi?’ he wrote, referencing the Ridley Scott–directed Demi Moore–starring film.

  • ‘Considered murdering my father’: Oscar winning actor Will Smith’s shocking revelations going viral

‘Considered murdering my father’: Oscar winning actor Will Smith’s shocking revelations going viral

The award-winning Hollywood actor, Will Smith has revealed in his new memoir Will that his father, Willard Carroll though present throughout his childhood, was an alcoholic who would regularly beat his mother.

My father was violent, but he was also at every game, play, and recital, wrote Will Smith

“When I was nine years old, I watched my father punch my mother in the side of the head so hard that she collapsed,” Smith writes. “I saw her spit blood. That moment in that bedroom, probably more than any other moment in my life, has defined who I am.”

The Men in Black star continues to say that the incident haunted him, making him feel like he failed to stand up for his mother.

Nonetheless, he maintained a relationship with his father eventually caring for him when he was diagnosed with cancer. This, according to Smith, was when he considered killing him.

“One night, as I delicately wheeled [my father] from his bedroom toward the bathroom, a darkness arose within me,” he writes.

“The path between the two rooms goes past the top of the stairs. As a child I’d always told myself that I would one day avenge my mother. That when I was big enough, when I was strong enough, when I was no longer a coward, I would slay him.”

“I paused at the top of the stairs. I could shove him down, and easily get away with it,” he writes. “I’m Will Smith. No one would ever believe I killed my father on purpose. I’m one of the best actors in the world. My 911 call would be Academy Award level.”

“As the decades of pain, anger, and resentment coursed then receded, I shook my head and proceeded to wheel Daddio to the bathroom,” he adds.

Will Smith Sr. succumbed to his cancer in 2016.

“There is nothing that you can receive from the material world that will create inner peace or fulfillment,” Smith concludes. “In the end, it will not matter one single bit how well [people] loved you, you will only gain ‘the Smile’ based on how well you loved them,” he writes.

  • Can a jalsa turnout be determined through number of mobile phones?

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s jalsa’ was held on March 27 at the Parade Ground in Islamabad as the opposition geared up to remove the PM from his office via a no-confidence motion. The very first thing that the media speculates is that how many people were present at the location of the rally.

Several Pakistani digital news platforms have stated that “more than 0.6 million unique mobile devices were detected in Islamabad on Sunday, as per the data traffic analysis shared by Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA)”, which means that they are suggesting that more than six lakh people were present at the PTI rally.

It is pertinent to mention that PTA or any authentic personnel have not officially released any statement regarding this. In fact, a number of netizens have commented that the ones who are claiming the presence of 0.6 million people at the Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan’s march do not have the authentic source of information.

The crowd was reportedly estimated by Islamabad police to be between 60,000 – 70,000 people, while the Intelligence Bureau (IB) said it was only 26,000 people.

Independent sources claim that not more than 35,000 people attended the rally, and some suggest that the crowd was not even close to 100,000 people.

But the question remains: Can you determine a jalsa turnout through the number of mobile phones in the area?

Whenever a cell phone is used, it emits an electromagnetic radio wave, called a radio frequency, which is received by the nearest cell tower’s antenna. Once the cell tower receives this signal, it will transmit the signals to a switching center.

Also, the cellular towers have limitations to accommodate a certain number of phones, this might allow the network provider to determine the devices connected to it.
