Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif and disgruntled Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Aleem Khan have reportedly met in London.
As per media reports, Aleem met Nawaz on Wednesday for three hours. Former finance minister Ishaq Dar and Nawaz Sharif’s sons also attended the meeting.
Sources privy to the matter have revealed that Nawaz and Khan have decided to work together.
Aleem left for London on Wednesday to meet Jahangir Khan Tareen and Nawaz Sharif. It was reported that Aleem would discuss the future course of action with Tareen for the group as the Opposition has submitted the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan.
Moreover, reports of differences between the Tareen group and Aleem Khan have also come to the surface.
In a report published in The News, it was revealed: “Jahangir Khan Tareen is avoiding meeting Aleem Khan because he is facing pressure from some hard-line members of his group. As such, there has been no contact between Jahangir Tareen and Aleem Khan. The hard-line members of the Tareen group believe that joining hands with the Aleem Khan group was tantamount to hijacking the Tareen group.”

The newborn girl, Jannat was murdered by her father on Sunday in Mianwali. He shot her four times and was taken immediately to a hospital but unfortunately, was pronounced dead.
Punjab Chief Minister (CM), Usman Buzdar, and Punjab Inspector General (IG) of Police, Rao Sardar Ali Khan, took notice of the incident.
Former Punjab CM, Shehbaz Sharif also tweeted after police arrested the accused.
“I am unable to process the mind-numbing incident of the killing of a baby girl. Utterly grotesque and barbaric. How could a father do this to his own child? Wish we could learn how our beloved Prophet (PBUH) treated his daughter & women in general” he wrote.
Spokesperson of Mianwali police, Zarrar Khan said, “The police were told by the complainants that the killer had been complaining for three or four days that he had wanted a son and he had been very angry.”
The First Investigation Report (FIR) was filed in a police station by Shahzaib Khan’s cousin, Hidayatullah.
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General (DG) Major General Babar Iftikhar on Thursday categorically stated that the Pakistan Army has nothing to do with politics.
“I had clearly stated in my last press conference that the army has nothing to do with politics,” said General Iftikhar, adding, “It is this way and it will remain this way.”
He also requested that there “be no unnecessary speculations about this now”.
DG ISPR on Thursday briefed the media on an Indian “high-speed flying object” that fell in Mian Channu, Khanewal district on Wednesday night.
“It was a supersonic flying object, most probably a missile, but it was certainly unarmed,” he said.
“On March 9, at 6:43pm, a high-speed flying object was picked up inside the Indian territory by Air Defence Operations Centre of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF). From its initial course, the object suddenly manoeuvred towards Pakistani territory and violated Pakistan’s air space, ultimately falling near Mian Channu at 6:50pm.”
“When it fell, it damaged civilian properties,” he said, adding that no loss of life was reported.
“It is important to highlight that the flight path of this object endangered many international and domestic passenger flights — both in Indian and Pakistani air space — as well as human life and property on the ground. Whatever caused this incident to happen, it is for the Indians to explain. It, nevertheless, shows their disregard for aviation safety and reflects very poorly on their technological prowess and procedural efficiency,” he said, adding that this could have resulted in a major aviation disaster.
On Thursday (March 10), a heavy contingent of the police raided the Parliament Lodges to expel members of the Ansarul Islam — a volunteer force of the Jamat-e-Ulema Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) — who were invited to provide security to Opposition lawmakers.
At least four legislators and more than a dozen Ansarul Islam volunteers were arrested during the operation. As per reports, MNA Maulana Jamaluddin, Salahuddin Ayubi, and spokesperson Mufti Abdullah were also arrested.

After the release of JUI-F workers and lawmakers, Maulana Fazlur Rehman directed party workers to open the highways they had earlier blocked in protest against the police operation. He had set a deadline of 9am for the government to release arrested parliamentarians and party workers.
In an audio message shared on Twitter, Maulana Fazl said there was “no need” to block the roads now since all parliamentarians and workers have been released.

Addressing a press conference after the police action, Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed had said the Opposition was bringing “mobs” into parliament, adding that “no one is allowed to keep private militia”.
The federal minister had said the government conducted “five-hour long talks with the Opposition” as Pakistan was not a “banana state”.
“I have directed all chief secretaries and inspector generals to take those into custody who attempt to take the law into their hands.”
Rasheed warned that no one should take the law into their hands, otherwise action would be taken
Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry took to Twitter and said, “The Jamiat goons apologised by holding their ears and left. They are part of a specific mafia group that is working for their own interests.”
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Political Communication Dr Shahbaz Gill said that Maulana Fazl had been “making calls all night and asking for forgiveness and for his workers to be released so he could have some honour left”.
Opposition Leader and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif said that raiding the residence of members of parliament was dictatorship and fascism.
Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari said that the attack on parliamentarians cannot be tolerated. “This police attack is proof that Imran Khan is panicking,” Bilawal said, “Imran Khan, enough is enough,” he warned.
The incident happened just days after the Opposition filed a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan.
PPP leader Bilawal Bhutto Zardari recently trended over social media after a slip of tongue during an Islamabad rally. The incident has sparked memes all over the internet as “Kaanpien Tang Rahi Hain” trends on Twitter.
Recently, a video went viral of Bilawal in Islamabad. Bilawal was speaking at the rally in Islamabad on Tuesday night to mark the culmination of a 10-day Awami March. The PPP leader had a slip of the tongue that turned into a hilarious moment.
It is understandable for Karachi folks to feel a bit chilly when they visit Islamabad. Which is exactly what our PPP leader experienced. Trying his best to sound ‘intimidating’, he wanted to let his people know that the opposition is trembling by his presence.
What he actually meant was “Taangien Kaanp Rahi Hain” (Legs are shivering).
Actresses Saboor Aly and Fatima Effendi have taken hilarious digs at Bilawal’s slip of tongue on their official Instagram handles.
Amidst the on-going controversy regardig actor Sana Javed’s misconduct with collegues, a stoy from last year has resurfaced on the web.
Producer Fahad Mustafa roped in Sana Javed and Azekah Daniel in his 2021 drama Dunk also starring Bilal Abbas Khan and Fahad Sheikh.
The Cheekh star took to Instagram to update her fans with the wrap up party pictures of the play with the entire team. However her co-star Sana was missing from the pictures.
A netizen commented under the post that she deliberately sidelined Sana from the pictures, the Pari actor was quick to reply with an elaborative note. She mentioned that it is actually the Pyaray Afzal diva who refused to feature in the pictures with her as she doesn’t find her co-star ‘worthy’ enough to pose with.
A string of claims began when model Manal Saleem took to her Instagram stories to state that clients should avoid making her shoot with any actress or celebrity due to their “self entitled attitudes.”
While Manal refrained from naming the actress in question who reportedly called her a “dou takkay ki model,” she did state that people guessing who the actress was were not too far from hitting the nail on the head.
The situation unraveled further when make-up artist Omayr Waqar weighed in on the matter as well, stating that “It’s just one person – not all actresses are the same.”
This controversy sparked a debate between the general public, who not only took turns trying to guess the individual being discussed, but also shared how they felt that entitlement and an overtly inflamed sense of pride are traits that are both unnecessary and unbecoming of any person – especially when it is a person in a position of relative power.
Within a span of barely two days, however, accusations grew from being merely speculative in nature, to others within the industry sharing their experiences.
Models Mydah Raza and Mushk Kaleem took to their Instagram stories to discuss how “this actress is notorious for being unpleasant on set,” like an alleged bully, and how the encounter spoke more to the actress’ own insecurities.
Stylist Anila Murtaza shared an Instagram story with a thought bubble with the name ‘Sana’ in it, and makeup artist Ikram Gohar stated that he knew it was none other than Sana Javed being discussed, calling her a “horrible and unprofessional actress.” Make-up artist Rhyan Thomas applauded those speaking up, sharing that he had the worst experience working with the star, stating that “people like them think no end to themselves.”
Shortly after, make-up artist Ikram Gohar went into great detail to further explain his stance, talking about how Sana Javed is “horrible and unprofessional,” and he will never work with her again.
Moreover, Ikram talked about Sana allegedly calling him to a place in DHA for her nikkah makeup trial, during which she mistreated him over an eyeshadow look, and refused to let him use the washroom at the place they were in, urging him to utilize a rest room at a restaurant in front of the space in which the trial was ongoing.
He stressed upon the fact that the industry consists of many names that maintain professional decorum, regardless of their star power.
In addition to this, Rhyan Thomas shared an incident where he was called in by models Sana Javed and Sadaf Kanwal for the PISA awards in Dubai, where Sana allegedly displayed behavior that was both unprofessional and petty.
Given that two models had to be catered to, timings were set accordingly by Rhyan. However, as per Rhyan’s recollection, upon his arrival, Sana claimed to be suffering from a migraine and went to take a hot bath that lasted an hour. After this, she allegedly wanted to have hookah, for which she took Rhyan to the lobby to spend time with other celebrities. This ordeal took another two hours, during which Rhyan claims that he was in touch with Sadaf as well.
Upon heading back to her hotel room, Sana allegedly “threw a fit,” due to her being late for the red carpet. With Sadaf’s calls alerting Rhyan, Sana apparently confiscated Rhyan’s phone, and “put the hotel’s landline on hold” to ensure there was no contact from anyone.
Here, Rhyan states that he was “held hostage,” and Sana reportedly spent the rest of the time demeaning his skills, also placing blame for the process to have taken 8 hours upon the make-up artist. In all of this, Sadaf thought that Rhyan had bailed on her, and did her hair and make-up herself, which the make-up artist claims is what Sana wanted due to “insecurity.”
Durefishan Saleem shared Rhyan Thomas’ post, stating that “harassment is a big NO,” regardless of the gender of the instigator.
With more and more encounters coming forth with regards to this, various figures from the industry are speaking up. Model Fareeha Sheikh recently took to Instagram to compile a post about alleged misbehavior by Sana Javed.
According to Fareeha’s post, the unfortunate incident took place a few months ago at Mian Saad’s studio where multiple shoots can take place. Fareeha arrived first and got her make-up done on the day when Sana Javed had to shoot for a designer at a separate set.
According to Fareeha, Sana arrived three hours late, and upon seeing Fareeha in the room, “stormed out” and “threw a tantrum,” stating that she’s leaving due to another girl being present in the room. Sana reportedly stated that she would not come back till Fareeha was “kicked out,” upon which the designer Sana was shooting with “barged in and started screaming” at Fareeha, leaving her shell-shocked. This prompted the make-up artist and Saad to ask the designer to leave the space.
Fareeha makes it a point to end her account by stating that she hopes “Sana Javed learns that shit comes back to you one way or the other.”
Mahnoor Sheikh also weighed in on this, stating that Sana is “arrogant, disrespectful, [and] rude.” She, too, shared an incident where Sana allegedly did not want to sit in the same make-up room as her and two other models while shooting a TVC.
Prominent female celebrities have shared their stance on the on-going controversy and schooled the Pyaray Afzal diva for her conduct.
Over the past couple of days, allegations of misbehavior and alleged abuse of power have been levied against Sana Javed by numerous individuals within the entertainment industry.
While detailed accounts were shared, alongside opinions, and support for those speaking up, Sana seemed to have remained relatively silent during the unfolding of events.
However, the Khaani actress has taken to Instagram to address these allegations with a legal notice, pictures of which were shared in her post.
“In the past 72 hours, I’ve been subjected to all sorts of lies and fabricated stories, bullying, hate speech, and threats,” penned Sana Javed in the Instagram post. “A proper planned smear campaign has been initiated against me by a group of individuals,” she further explains.
Sana talks about how this ordeal has caused “severe trauma” to her and her family. Moreover, she writes that she is shocked to see how “toxic” people can be, with many jumping on the bandwagon of hate without verifying facts.
In all of this, the Pyaray Afzal states that she will not be commenting on the stories or incidents that have come to light, despite the accounts being “one side of the story,” claiming that all that has been shared is “beyond disgusting,” and “disgraceful.”
Capping off her statement, she reveals that she has taken legal action, with the matter now lying in the hands of legal bodies.
“I love my work and hold it in the highest [regard]” says Sana Javed in her Instagram caption. “Throughout my career I’ve tried my best to hold my ground and my integrity by giving [the] utmost respect to my colleagues and peers, and expected the same in return.”
Sana concludes her post by stating once again that she will be pursuing this legally, and talks about being grateful for the support she has received from friends and fans who have stood by her during this time, calling these supportive factions her strength.
The detailed Instagram post also contains images of a legal document that further explains details with regards to the entire matter.
Junaid Khan is set to star opposite Aiza Awan in the drama serial Aik Jhoota Lafz Mohabbat. The duo appeared together on Ahsan Khan’s chat show, Timeout With Ahsan Khan where the Faryaad diva revealed that she is witnessed the ‘Sun Yaara’ star stalking the Khaani actor Sana Javed.
Her comment caught Ahsan Khan’s intrigue and the trio indulged in an interesting banter.
Israeli President Isaac Herzog met with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday for a one-day rare visit to Turkey in an effort to mend fractured ties between the two countries.
Erdogan described the Israeli president’s visit as “historic” and “a turning point” in Turkish-Israeli relations. He said the country is ready to cooperate with Israel in the energy sector, revealing that the Turkish foreign and energy ministers will soon visit Israel.
In a statement in Hebrew, Herzog said it is a great honour for both countries to lay the foundations of developing friendly relations between them.
It is pertinent to mention that Ankara has close ties with Hamas. Despite the rare visit, Turkey has ruled out abandoning its commitment to supporting Palestinian statehood.
Talking about Palestine, Erdogan said, “I underlined the importance we attach to the historical status of Jerusalem and the preservation of the religious identity and sanctity of Masjid Aqsa.” In response, the Israeli president said, “We must agree in advance that we will not agree on everything, that is the nature of relations with a past as rich as ours.”
This is the first visit of the Israeli president to Ankara since 2007. In 2018, Ankara recalled its diplomats and ordered Israel’s envoy out of the country.
The visit was made after Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s interview in which he called Israel a “potential ally” of the Kingdom.
In 2020, two Gulf countries— Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates normalised ties with Israel.
