Cristiano Ronaldo’s new Al Nassr deal will leave you in shock

Cristiano Ronaldo has signed a record-breaking contract with Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr.

Already the highest-paid player in the world, Ronaldo’s new deal takes things to an entirely different level with unbelievable pay, personal perks, and even partial ownership of the club.

The star player will now earn £178 million annually, around £3.4 million per week, as his base salary for being part of the team.

On top of that, he will also receive:

£80,000 for every goal he scores, which increases by 20 percent if he stays for a second year
£40,000 for every assist, also increasing by 20 percent in year two
A signing bonus of £24.5 million that rises to £38 million if he chooses to extend the contract

He will also earn millions more if the club performs well:

£8 million if Al Nassr wins the Saudi Pro League
£4 million if Ronaldo becomes the top scorer
£6.5 million if the club qualifies for the Asian Champions League and wins it

In a first-of-its-kind move, Ronaldo has been given 15 percent ownership of the club, a share valued at around £33 million. No other active footballer has ever received such a deal, making this contract truly historic. It makes him a player, a club ambassador, and now a part-owner.

The contract also covers Ronaldo’s high-end lifestyle. It includes:

£4 million annually for private jet travel
£60 million worth of sponsorship deals through Saudi brands and partners in Asia
A 16-member personal team just for him, which includes 3 drivers, 4 housekeepers, 2 private chefs, 3 gardeners, and 4 bodyguards

Ronaldo’s original move to Saudi Arabia was already a major turning point. With this new contract, Al Nassr has shown they are fully committed to its goal of becoming a football powerhouse. Ronaldo is not just seen as a football player, but as the face of a sporting revolution in the region.

Even at 40 years old, Ronaldo continues to be Al Nassr’s top scorer and the biggest name in the league. This record-setting deal proves he is still the most valuable brand in world football, both on and off the field.

Neeru Bajwa unfollows Hania Aamir just before Sardaar Ji 3 release

Indian Punjabi actress Neeru Bajwa has unfollowed Pakistani star Hania Aamir, stirring widespread assumptions among fans and followers across borders.

Hania Amir and Neeru Bajwa will share the screen in the upcoming film Sardar Ji 3, set to release today.

The unanticipated digital distancing has led to several speculations online.

Many social media users suspect that Neeru may have received threats, and could possibly have been pressurised by Hindu extremist groups over Hania’s involvement in the film.

As a result Neeru Bajwa chose to distance herself publicly from the film’s promotion as she also deleted all posts about the film from her Instagram account, just one day before the release.

Sardar Ji 3 was filmed before the recent military stand-off between Pakistan and India.

Following the conflict, several groups in India demanded either Hania Amir be removed from the film or the movie be completely banned.

The producers, keeping potential loss in mind, have decided to release the movie globally, except for India, on June 27.

Islamabad’s newly-built Jinnah Square section collapses during first monsoon rain

A section of the recently inaugurated Jinnah Square’s road in the federal capital has collapsed after the first monsoon rain of the season, leading to serious concerns over its construction quality.

According to reports, the Rs4.2 billion project completed in just 84 days had been boasted by the government as a model of rapid development. However, the loop connecting G-5 to Aabpara near Serena Chowk on Thursday collapsed during rain, impeding traffic and raising safety concerns.

“This is a cruel joke on taxpayers. If a multi-billion-rupee road can’t withstand a single spell of rain, it reflects alarming negligence,” said a commuter amid massive traffic disruptions.

While experts demand an independent inquiry into the structural integrity of the fast-tracked project amid serious doubts over its quality and oversight of the construction, Capital Development Authority (CDA) teams have reportedly started with emergency repairs on the washed away road.

Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif and the CDA chairman have been called on by the public to launch a thorough investigation into the project and hold those responsible for any negligence or malpractice accountable.

‘I don’t want to work in Bollywood’: Old Diljit Dosanjh interview goes viral amid boycott calls

As the release of Sardaar Ji 3 approaches, an old interview of Diljit Dosanjh is going viral and it’s making headlines once again.

In the resurfaced clip, the Punjabi singer is seen saying that he has no desire to work in Bollywood and doesn’t need approval from anyone to make music.

“I don’t even want to work in Bollywood. I have no such desire to become a great Bollywood star,” Diljit says in the video.

He goes on to add, “I love music, and I can continue making music without anyone’s permission or any big star’s approval or names attached. I don’t need to think that, ‘Oh this person’s work will sell, this one will get a song, that one won’t.’ None of that applies to me.”

Diljit also made it clear that no one can stop him from creating. “As long as I feel like it, I’ll keep creating music. And as long as God wills it, I’ll make music. Whether I get work in Bollywood or not, I couldn’t care less,” he concluded.

The video has resurfaced online just days before the release of Sardaar Ji 3, a horror-comedy film starring Hania Aamir, Neeru Bajwa, Jasmin Bajwa, and Gulshan Grover.

The film has faced boycott calls in India after the Film Federation of Western Indian Cinema (FWIC) reimposed a ban on Pakistani artists, following the Pahalgam attack in April.

In response to the situation, the makers of Sardaar Ji 3 have decided to release the film overseas only, including in Pakistan, skipping cinemas in India.

The film is set to release worldwide (excluding India) on June 27.

  • US tells American women ‘not to travel alone’ in India

US tells American women ‘not to travel alone’ in India

The US State Department has recently updated a travel advisory for India, urging travellers to “exercise increased caution” due to “crime and terrorism”.

“Rape is one of the fastest-growing crimes in India. Violent crimes, including sexual assault, happen at tourist sites and other locations,” the advisory read.

Foreigners often face challenges and concerns while visiting India. In a harrowing incident, a 30-year-old French national in Udaipur for an advertisement shoot was allegedly raped earlier this week by a member of an event management firm, according to Indian media reports.

NDTV quoted Udaipur Superintendent of Police (SP) Yogesh Goyal as saying, “On Sunday evening, some French tourists were at a restaurant called Greek Farm with some employees of an event management company. They had a meal together and also consumed drinks. The survivor has said that she went in the car with one Siddharth (also known as Pushparaj Ojha), who then took her to his hotel room and sexually assaulted her.”

The travel advisory said that terrorists may attack with little or no warning, adding, “They target tourist locations, transportation hubs, markets/shopping malls, and government facilities.”

“The US government has limited ability to provide emergency services to US citizens in rural areas. These areas stretch from eastern Maharashtra and northern Telangana through western West Bengal. Due to risks, US government employees working in India must obtain special authorisation to travel to these states,” the advisory said.

Specifying the do’s and the don’ts, the advisory cautioned its citizens to not carry out a satellite phone or a Global Positioning System (GPS) device in India, as it’s illegal in the country and may result in a penalty of $200,00 or jail time of up to three years, noting, “Do not travel alone especially if you are a woman.”

“We highly recommend that you buy insurance before you travel. Check with your travel insurance provider about evacuation assistance, medical insurance, and trip cancellation coverage.”

Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOKJ) was mentioned for extra caution, as the advisory listed out some spots where US government employees should not travel without prior permission.

The advisory informed the travellers that violence occurs in tourist spots in “Kashmir Valley: Srinagar, Gulmarg, and Pahalgam”, adding that the Indian government does not allow foreign tourists to visit certain areas along the LOC.

It instructed the tourists to not travel to Central and East India due to “terrorism” as Naxalites are active in a large area of India that spans from eastern Maharashtra and northern Telangana through western West Bengal.

“US government employees working in India also need approval to travel to the eastern region of Maharashtra and the eastern region of Madhya Pradesh. US citizens are advised not to cross the India-Nepal border by land due to the risk of immigration related detention and fines,” it said.

Regarding Manipur, the advisory further advised the US employee against travelling in the state, saying they must get “prior approval before visiting Manipur”.

Karachi domestic worker becomes millionaire after stealing for 15 years

A domestic worker in Karachi has been arrested for allegedly stealing over Rs50 million from a DHA bungalow and using the money to fund a lavish, millionaire-style lifestyle.

Shehnaz, who worked in Khayaban-e-Tanzeem, shocked investigators by confessing that she owns five cars, three flats, and a commercial shop. She admitted to living extravagantly, frequently shopping at malls, wearing branded clothes, and spending evenings at upscale cafés after work.

Police revealed that over a period of 15 years, Shehnaz systematically stole money from a specific room in the house where she worked. With the stolen funds, she purchased vehicles and properties. Many of the cars and flats were later rented out, providing her with regular income.

During a raid, authorities recovered Rs600,000 from her residence and discovered nearly Rs4 million in her bank accounts. Investigations are underway to uncover the full extent of her wealth, including properties possibly hidden in her hometown.
