    England White Ball cricket captain Jos Buttler has changed his name and the England Cricket Board (ECB) has made this announcement on Instagram in a very unique way.

    He has changed his name from “Jos Buttler” to “Josh Buttler”.

    Talking about reason behind changing his name, he said, “I have been called with wrong names all my life. My mother is also among those who called me by wrong names.”

    “After representing the country for 13 years and winning two World Cups, I have found a solution to the problem. Now I’m Josh Butler.”

    Pakistan cricket team’s star batsman Babar Azam has demanded the captaincy of all three formats from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

    According to a Cricinfo report, PCB has offered Babar Azam the leadership in white ball cricket but he has not accepted the position till now, demanding the captaincy of all three formats.

    The report states that Shaheen Afridi, who recently became the T20 captain, will be removed from the leadership of the team.

    After the conclusion of the ICC World Cup 2023, Babar was removed from the captaincy of all formats. Shaheen was appointed the captain in T20 and Shan Masood as Test captain while the captain for ODIs has not been announced yet.

    These teams didn’t get their visas on time due to Pakistan visa policies.

    The Pakistani government is not supportive of eSports. There is no platform to grow our eSports community.

    The government should take serious notice of this problem because eSports is a huge income source for many players.

    Why has BCCI banned certain colours in IPL 2024 jerseys?

    The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has banned certain colours including white, gray and silver in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 jerseys.

    IPL team Punjab Kings (PBKS) unveiled their jersey for the upcoming IPL on Saturday, at the Elante Mall in Chandigarh.

    While speaking at the event Punjab Kings owner Preity Zinta said, “BCCI has banned certain colour like white, gray and silver in IPL jerseys because these colours matched with the ball.”

    She also recalled Punjab’s old jersey which had a mixture of red and grey from 2009-2013.

    “Earlier, we had a combination of red, grey and silver but then the BCCI banned silver, grey and white due to sighting issues with the ball. Hence, we went ahead with red and this year we have the best combination with red,” said Zinta at the event.

    Punjab Kings didn’t have a memorable last season as they finished at the eighth spot winning six out of 14 matches with total 12 points.

    In a YouTube show ‘Metatainment’ Sher Afzal Marwat discussed the difficult times he had faced in his life.

    “At a time in my life when I was a victim of problems, I used to think that strangers were harassing me. I was under mental stress. This was a period of one and a half or almost two years when I was in a lot of trouble. This was the time when there were peace issues in our area. My father was murdered, I was directly under attack, there was a lot of conflict in our tribe. There were many problems too.”

    Detailing his mental struggles, Marwat said, “I used to wonder why this life is so difficult. Many strange thoughts used to come into my mind, but Allah gave me courage.”

    Talking about Nadir Ali, he said, “These pranks, especially Nadir Ali who is a Pakistan famous prankster, I used to watch his pranks daily and I think his pranks saved my life. I used to watch his single video 10, 50 even 100 times.”

    “I am a big fan of his. I went to Karachi but didn’t get a chance to meet him or interact with him. If I am a fan of one person in my life, it is Nadir Ali.”

    Nadir Ali is a Pakistani famous prankster on YouTube who has four million subscribers.

    Quetta Gladiators captain Rilee Rossouw won the toss and invited Multan Sultans to bat first.

    Pakistani Player Unknown Battlegrounds (PUBG) players are facing sponsor and visa issues for PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) Brazil, which will be a LAN event.

    Pakistan’s PUBG Mobile, one of the best team Agonxi8 and Seventh Elements, is likely to miss out on the opportunity to play PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) Brazil. PMGO is an offline tournament and the offline qualifiers of this event start from 28 March to 30 March.

    The Pakistani team might not get their visas on time due to Pakistan visa policies. If they manage to get a visa, they would have to manage travel, hotel and other costs themselves in Brazil, an amount close to PKR three to four million. The prize poll of the LAN qualifiers is just $2,000 for each team, and unfortunately, if they cannot qualify for the next stage, they will have to bear a heavy loss.

    PMGO Roadmap:

    A total of 32 qualified teams will compete in this round from which the top 1 team will qualify for the main event while the 2,3 and 4th spot teams will qualify for the ‘Prelims’. The total prize pool for the qualifiers is $64,000 which will be equally distributed among the 32 teams.

    The prize pool for the Prelims stage is $80,000. The top eight teams from this stage will qualify for the main event, while 7 teams are already invited for the main event.

    The prize pool for the main event will be $356,000. The winning team will secure $100,000, the runner-up $ 50,000-second runner-up $30,000, and the 4th place team will secure $15,000.

    Arafat Minhas, Zahid Mehmood and Hasan Ali took one wicket each for Karachi Kings.

    After the match between Quetta Gladiators and Lahore Qalandars in Karachi, Amir was called a ‘fixer’ from the enclosures, on which the cricketer got angry and said, “This is what you have learned from home.”
