Did Meera really ask Ali Haider to find her a husband? Here’s what happened

Appearing as a guest on Hasna Mana Hai, legendary singer Ali Haider opens up about the moment actress Meera’s wedding news turned into a surprising request.

During the film’s shooting in Dubai, Ali Haider received threatening letters from Meera’s fans who did not like the idea of her working with Ali. The letters urged him to stay away from her, with some even saying he shouldn’t be working in the film.

Despite the tension, Ali and Meera eventually became friends and worked together on several commercials and projects.

But the real surprise came as their friendship grew stronger.

“One day Meera called me and excitedly told me she had gotten married. However, after some time, she called again, this time sounding upset. She said, ‘Ali Haider, you’ve gotten married, you have children. Don’t you think your friend should also have?’” Ali Haider revealed.

“Meera asked me, ‘Can you find a friend who would marry me?’” Ali Haider added.

Ali Haider reassured Meera and promised he would try to help her, but only time would tell how things would unfold.

Rabab Hashim shares an unbelievable fan encounter

Imagine receiving 200 messages from a fan and then having them show up at your doorstep with gifts. Actress Rabab Hashim experienced just that.

Appearing as a guest on Hasna Mana Hai, the host, Tabish Hashmi, asked Rabab about any surprising fan experiences, to which she shared the shocking story.

“I was receiving a lot of messages from an account on Instagram, around 200 in a day. I thought it was just a random thing, but then something strange happened,” she said.

The Sila-e-Muhabbat actress was enjoying a day off at home when she suddenly heard the doorbell. “When I opened the door, a woman and a man from interior Sindh were standing outside, holding a basket filled with gifts. They insisted that I accept the gifts because they had travelled a long distance,” Rabab recalled.

She explained that although she accepted the gifts, the situation grew more uncomfortable when the couple wouldn’t leave. “They stayed outside my house,” she added.

As they were about to leave, Rabab asked, “How did you get to my house?” She then returned the gifts, saying, “I can’t keep these.” However, she kept receiving strange messages from them.

  • Love, betrayal, and family drama: Nashwa’s journey in ‘Qarz e Jaan’ takes a shocking turn

Love, betrayal, and family drama: Nashwa’s journey in ‘Qarz e Jaan’ takes a shocking turn

In the latest episode of Qarz e Jaan, Nashwa is planning her mother, Bisma’s, marriage to Asim. But we worry about how her grandmother and Bakhtiyar will react. Nashwa’s emotions are portrayed beautifully in the drama. The question is, will she have to pay the price by agreeing to marry Ammar and reopening Maheen’s murder case?

There was a lovely and heartwarming scene where Nashwa and Asim talk. Nashwa, played by Yumna Zaidi, shows determination to fight for her mother’s happiness. She even convinces her grandmother to support Bisma. We learn that Bisma married Behzaad instead of Asim because her grandmother forced her to marry a terminally ill man.

Faisal Rehman’s return to the screen was wonderful, too. His interaction with Nashwa felt natural and emotional. He reminded us of the good old days of memorable performances.

Nashwa also seems to acknowledge her feelings for Burhan when she sees him talking to her cousin. The moment leads her to invite Asim to the event at their place, but the connection between these actions is unclear.

Ammar surprisingly complies with Nashwa’s request by agreeing to empty the room she asked for for a while. This scene is tense as Ammar’s friend awkwardly approaches Nashwa, to which Ammar reacts and kicks his friend out of the house.

Ammar tells his friend not to bother girls in his family. It highlights a sad reality where some harassers think it’s okay to mistreat women from other families.

It also brings about another possibility: Could this conflict cause Ammar’s friend to leak information about Maheen’s case? Or will Nashwa see Ammar in a better light?

The drama shows how widows are mistreated in affluent and educated families. It highlights the stigma that widows bring bad luck and should live without joy.

Burhan not knowing Nashwa’s identity seems odd since he’s shown to be thorough. Wouldn’t he have found out about her connection to Ammar?

  • Shadab Khan comments on actors and TikTokers’ claims about cricketers

Shadab Khan comments on actors and TikTokers’ claims about cricketers

Pakistani cricketer Shadab Khan recently addressed claims by actors and TikTokers about cricketers messaging them during his appearance on the show Hansna Mana Hai.

Host Tabish Hashmi asked the all-rounder, “Do cricketers really send messages to actors and TikTokers on social media, or are these just baseless claims?”

Shadab replied, “If a cricketer messages an actress or TikToker, there’s nothing wrong with it.” He added, “If actresses receive messages and don’t like them, they should simply not respond.”

He elaborated, “If actresses don’t reply, they won’t get more messages. But if they respond and then expect replies while complaining about getting messages, that’s not how it works.”

He further remarked, “I’ve seen videos of some actresses making big claims, but that’s not always the reality. Sometimes, things are exaggerated.”

According to Shadab, some claims are made just to gain fame, especially during major cricket tournaments. “It’s a way to get attention,” he said.

With a smile, Shadab shared, “There’s no fight within the team over who messaged an actress. But yes, everyone does ask each other who sent the message.”

Shadab refrained from naming anyone specific while addressing these claims.

Previously, TikToker Shah Taj Khan claimed to have been friends with Shadab Khan, stating that they used to message each other on social media. Before her, actresses like Nawal Saeed and Momina Iqbal also claimed that cricketers often messaged them.

  • Manager calls out organisers after crowd throws bottle at Talha Anjum, again

Manager calls out organisers after crowd throws bottle at Talha Anjum, again

Rapper Talha Anjum, part of the popular music duo Young Stunners, was recently hit by a bottle during his performance at the Beaconhouse Notion of Academia 2025 event held at Beaconhouse Margalla Campus in Islamabad. The duo’s manager, Aleena Naghman, addressed the incident in an Instagram story, which Anjum later reshared for his followers.

In her story, she wrote, “To all fans, followers, school managements and event organizers, I would like to address an important issue that has left me deeply disturbed. As the Manager for Young Stunners, I am compelled to speak out about a recent incident that occurred during our performance at the Beaconhouse Notion of Academia 2025 event held at Beaconhouse Margalla Campus in Islamabad.”

She continued, “During the event, the audience’s behavior was completely unacceptable. Students were throwing bottles at the artists, and the last bottle hit Talha Anjum in the eye. Despite this, he chose not to react and left the stage.”

Alina highlighted the lack of accountability from the event organisers, saying, “What’s even more disturbing is the lack of accountability and respect shown by the event organizers. They never hesitate to ask our artists for shoutouts to promote their events, but when it comes to apologizing for the safety and well-being of our artists, they remain silent.”

She added, “It’s ironic that the school organization didn’t spare a single moment to take pictures with our artists before the show, but when it comes to taking responsibility for the actions of their students, they’re nowhere to be found.”

The manager also emphasised the need for respect and accountability, stating, “This lack of respect and accountability is unacceptable. We urge event organizers to take responsibility for ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all performers. A simple apology or acknowledgment of the incident would have gone a long way in showing that they value the well-being of our artists.”
