Students get surprise of a lifetime when THIS superstar walks into their class

Legendary singer Atif Aslam walked into a classroom at International School Lahore on Thursday to surprise the students and sang his iconic song, Aaadat, but instead of getting excited, the students started recording the moment on their phones.

This unexpected reaction has gone viral, and people are wondering why the students were not more ecstatic to see a legend.

Instead of expressing excitement or singing along with Atif Aslam, the students seemed more interested in recording the moment on their phones.

As Tu Jaane Na singer sang and played his guitar, many of the students remained seated, barely acknowledging the superstar’s presence.

The viral video showing Atif Aslam walking around the class while performing has sparked a flood of comments on social media.

People were shocked by the students’ cold response, calling them “the worst audience” they’ve ever seen. Some even joked that Atif had mistakenly entered a school where the students weren’t impressed by his performance [sic].

One user commented, “Galti se ameero ke school mei entry leli.”

Another jabbed at how calm the students were, saying, “They didn’t take it seriously inhy talha anjum ke concert ma phenk kar ao.”

One jokingly added, “Yeh bache aram se kaise baithe hai ? Main kursi tor deta.”

‘My son was crying’; Saif finally tells police what happened the night he got stabbed

One week after getting stabbed six times by an intruder in his Mumbai home, Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan has recorded his statement to the police, revealing crucial details of what happened on that fateful night.

According to Indian media, Saif Ali Khan provided his statement on Thursday, seven days after the January 16 incident.

“On the night of January 16, Kareena Kapoor and I were in the bedroom of our apartment on the 11th floor when we heard the screams of our younger son Jahangir’s nanny,” Saif told the police.

He added, “On hearing the screams, Kareena and I rushed to our son’s room, where the attacker was present. The nanny was terrified and screaming, while my son was crying.”

When Saif Ali Khan attempted to apprehend the intruder, he was stabbed multiple times on his back, neck, and hands with a knife. Despite his injuries, the actor managed to push the attacker into the room and lock him inside.

The attacker, who reportedly entered the 12th-floor apartment to rob the family, demanded Rs 1 crore. He was later identified as Mohammad Shariful Islam Shehzad.

Initial reports claimed that Kareena Kapoor was not at home during the incident. However, statements from Saif Ali Khan and the nanny have refuted the claims, confirming that Kareena was present along with both of the couple’s sons and other family members.

In response to the attack, Mumbai Police has stationed two constables outside Saif Ali Khan’s Bandra residence, working in two shifts to ensure his safety.

Saif Ali Khan was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai after the attack, where he underwent successful surgery. He was discharged five days later, on January 21.

  • Rajab Butt reveals reason behind delayed honeymoon plans

Rajab Butt reveals reason behind delayed honeymoon plans

Popular vlogger Rajab Butt recently addressed a personal question from a fan, Ayat, in his vlog.

Ayat asked, “It’s been a few days now since your marriage, and you still haven’t taken Bhabhi (sister-in-law) for a honeymoon anywhere. Why haven’t you taken her out of the country?”

Rajab Butt, visibly teary-eyed, responded, “The first question has left me feeling emotional, and it’s made the public emotional too. How do I even answer this? I’m opening up about this clearly and honestly in front of you. There are some things I’ve been asked not to share, but I’ll answer as much as I can. Please try to understand.”

He explained, “I can’t stay out of the city for even four days. Travel? I can’t even think about it. I can’t leave because every fifth day, I have lectures in the classroom. Which classroom? Which lecture? You all know what I mean. Okay?”

Rajab clarified that by “lectures,” he was referring to the court proceedings he must attend due to the six cases filed against him. Since he couldn’t openly mention this in his vlog, he used the terms “lectures” and “classroom” instead.

Rajab continued, “Grown-ups are watching this, and I don’t want to send the wrong message to anyone. How can I go? Do you think I’ll take Imaan out of the country for just three days? What kind of honeymoon would that be? Which country could I even take her to?”

He expressed his gratitude, saying, “I’m very grateful to her for understanding everything, but this isn’t my fault. I can’t do anything about the situation I’m in right now.”

Rajab elaborated, “I have six lectures going on right now. Now you can guess what I mean by ‘lectures.’ Every three or four days, I have to attend a different ‘lecture.’ I can’t leave the city at the moment.”

He asked his fans for their prayers, stating, “Please pray that as soon as these matters are resolved, the first thing I’ll do is take Imaan out of the country. Maybe for 10 days, we’ll visit four or five countries. Once again, I’m thankful to her for being so patient.”

Rajab also mentioned his usual travel routine: “Whenever my friends and I travel, it’s usually for two or three days, or at most four days. It’s not like we go out for eight or ten days. Our plans are always short.”

He concluded, “But a honeymoon isn’t going to be a three- or four-day trip. She’s been so patient, so I can’t just take her on a short trip.”

  • ‘Bizarre’; Shamoon Abbasi questions Saif Ali Khan’s recovery

‘Bizarre’; Shamoon Abbasi questions Saif Ali Khan’s recovery

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan’s speedy recovery after last week’s shocking stabbing incident has left many surprised, with some people showing skepticism about how quickly he healed. Actor Shamoon Abbasi, for one, is questioning how he recovered so fast.

Saif Ali Khan was attacked in his Mumbai apartment on January 16 by an intruder, suffering multiple knife wounds. He underwent two surgeries, during which doctors removed a blade fragment from his body. Despite the severity of his injuries, Saif was discharged from the hospital within five days and appeared to be in a seemingly healthy state.

Shamoon Abbasi took to Facebook, expressing skepticism and calling the story “bizarre”.

He wrote, “Generally I don’t pay attention to Bollywood news, but this Saif Ali Khan case is the most bizarre and nerve- wracking story, nothing aligns with the next statement.”

The Waar actor pointed out how Saif’s reported wounds and his quick recovery appear contradictory, further fueling public doubts about the incident’s authenticity.

Shamoon Abbasi isn’t alone, Indian politicians, including Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam and Maharashtra’s Minister Nitesh Rane, have questioned the legitimacy of the incident.

Nirupam remarked, “Recovering from spinal and neck injuries with five days and walking normally, this seems like something only superheroes can do.”

Bollywood actress Pooja Bhatt defended Saif Ali Khan, praised his bravery, and condemned the conspiracy theories.

Pooja Bhatt said, “Instead of spreading baseless speculation, Saif’s courage should be applauded, he drove himself to the hospital in an injured state, proving his resilience.

While Saif Ali Khan himself has not commented on the whispers, multiple medical websites state that healing from stabbing wounds that have not punctured a major organ or a large blood vessel can be quite fast, depending upon the injured individual’s overall health.

Earlier, Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan looked remarkably fit in his first public appearance since getting stabbed last week after an intruder entered his Mumbai home in the early morning hours.

Despite getting stabbed six times, Saif Ali Khan looked hale and hearty and in good spirits after being discharged from Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital, a hand brace and faint bandage on his neck the only reminders of his ordeal. His trademark beard was replaced by a clean shaved visage.

He waved to fans and the paparazzi, before climbing into a car where his wife Kareena Kapoor was already waiting for him in the backseat. Flashing a smile at the papps, he left in the car for home.

Doctors have said that Saif is expected to make a complete recovery.

  • Fire-hit Hollywood awaits Oscar nominees, with ‘Emilia Perez’ in front

Fire-hit Hollywood awaits Oscar nominees, with ‘Emilia Perez’ in front

This year’s Oscar nominations will be unveiled Thursday in an announcement delayed by the devastating Los Angeles wildfires, with transgender cartel musical “Emilia Perez” expected to lead a highly competitive field.

Voting deadlines had to be extended this month, as the US entertainment capital and home city of the Academy Awards was devastated by multiple blazes that have killed more than two dozen people and forced tens of thousands to flee.

Nominees will be unveiled virtually, and in subdued circumstances, as a town that typically fixates on the Oscars race has more pressing matters to handle.

Even so, the glitzy Oscars ceremony itself is still set for March 2, and the stars and studios who have spent months and millions of dollars campaigning will learn if they have made the coveted final shortlists.

“Emilia Perez,” French director Jacques Audiard’s Mexico-set musical, in which a narco boss transitions to life as a woman and turns her back on crime, seems certain to pick up best picture and multiple song, score and sound nods.

“It’s going to rack up a big number,” Pete Hammond, awards columnist for movie trade outlet Deadline, told AFP.

Nominations for its star Karla Sofia Gascon — who would become the first openly trans acting nominee — and Zoe Saldana appear set too.

Their more famous co-star, Selena Gomez, has been criticized for her Spanish-language dialogue and could miss out.

Even so, the Netflix film could become the most nominated non-English-language movie ever — a record held by “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” and “Roma,” each with 10.

“It’s so strong in all of the categories that it could get nominated in,” said Hammond.

Competition atop the nomination list will likely come from Vatican thriller “Conclave,” epic immigrant saga “The Brutalist” and show-stopping musical adaptation “Wicked.”

Sci-fi sequel “Dune: Part Two,” indie darling “Anora” and Bob Dylan biopic “A Complete Unknown” are also expected to do well.

    – ‘Political statement’ –

Academy Award nominations are fiercely contested by Hollywood’s biggest stars, and this year’s race for best actress appears especially intense.

A-listers like Angelina Jolie and Nicole Kidman went all-out with their performances in “Maria” and “Babygirl,” respectively, but many pundits believe they will miss out.

Comeback queen Demi Moore charmed the industry with her Golden Globes acceptance speech for body horror-satire “The Substance,” and seems a lock for a nomination along with Gascon and “Anora” star Mikey Madison.

“It’s those other two slots that could go any which way,” said Hammond, pointing to Brazil’s Fernanda Torres (“I’m Still Here”) and Britain’s Marianne Jean-Baptiste (“Hard Truths”) as popular alternates.

“Wicked” star Cynthia Erivo is also in the mix.

For best actor, Adrien Brody (“The Brutalist”) is a firm favorite, along with Timothee Chalamet (“A Complete Unknown”) and Ralph Fiennes (“Conclave”).

This year could finally bring first Oscar nods for rom-com veteran Hugh Grant, who is radically different in horror “Heretic,” and former 007 Daniel Craig, for literary adaptation “Queer.”

Or the Academy could ruffle a few feathers in the new White House by selecting Sebastian Stan for his unsettling transformation into a young Donald Trump in “The Apprentice.”

The movie drew threats of lawsuits from Trump’s attorneys, particularly for a scene in which the new US president is shown raping his wife.

“It could be a political statement” to nominate Stan, said Hammond.

    – ‘Lost homes’ –

The Los Angeles wildfires have cast a somber shadow on this year’s Oscars, and the chaos and displacement they caused could also directly impact Academy voting patterns, Hammond said.

“We know so many members that have lost homes (in Los Angeles)… some will just not have voted” at all, said Hammond.

He predicted the upheaval at home could increase the influence of the Academy’s many overseas voters, who often opt for more artsy fare from outside of the US-centric Hollywood orbit.

“They’re the furthest away from it, and it will be business as usual for that group,” he said.

“Though I don’t particularly think ‘Emilia Perez’ needs any help,” Hammond added.

The nominations announcement will begin Thursday at 5:30 am (1330 GMT) in Los Angeles.
