We finally know why Sharjeena’s father didn’t accept Mustafa

Megahit drama serial Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum has launched many online conversations about the complex relationships it revolves around. Sharjeena and her father’s bond is one of them.

Television host and actor Tauseeq Haider, portraying Sharjeena father, recently talked about his character in an interview with Fuchsia Magazine.

When asked by host Rabia Mughni, “What drives your character to accept Mustafa,” Haider replied, “I believe there is intense love for his daughters, especially for the eldest one, but he doesn’t see anything else.”

He said that this particular aspect has received much praise for the character, but there’s also a message in it:
“While love for children is essential, there comes a point where you need to accept changes in their lives.”

Despite his character’s overprotectiveness, Tauseeq pointed out the irony in the narrative, saying, “My daughter (Heera) is strong like a diamond, and our upbringing has prepared her well.”

“In Nepal, Mauritius, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, wherever Urdu is spoken and understood, even my niece went to Turkey, and there was a Turkish colleague of hers who couldn’t even speak English properly. Her colleague said that they are in love with Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum,” Haider added.

Tauseeq shared a recent personal experience that brought him joy.
He said, “I was coming from Islamabad to Karachi on a flight recently, so, when I entered the plane, the cabin crew lady welcomed me excitedly and said, ‘I want to take a selfie with you right now.’ I said, ‘Sure, go ahead.’ Now, I went and sat down, and after a little while, when it was time for takeoff, about half an hour later, when the food trolley came, she was about to serve me the meal. She hesitated and said, ‘My heart isn’t in it to serve you food.’”

Minahil Malik quits social media after alleged leaks

Pakistani TikToker Minahil Malik has announced her departure from social media platforms. The decision comes in the wake of recent controversies surrounding leaked explicit videos that have sparked intense online harassment and trolling.

The leaks allegedly showing Minahil led to widespread condemnation, cyberbullying and harassment, all of which, she says, has taken a toll on her mental health.

On her Instagram story, she wrote, “I am feeling very tired. I have taken this decision after a lot of thought. You all have given me a lot of support and love. I am grateful for that, but this world doesn’t let anyone live peacefully. The world is very cruel. I hope I never see you all again. I am feeling very helpless. Minahil is dead inside.”

“I am sorry if I have ever hurt anyone. Minahil was also a simple girl. And now, God, it’s really enough. They are making me tired of living. I have never said anything like this before, this is just the last time I am speaking, that’s why I couldn’t hold back. Some people will be sad because of me, some people will be happy. I just want everyone to be happy, and you all will be in my prayers. I love you all, no matter how much I thank you, it’s not enough.”

“And please, I request that you give as much love and time as you can. Spend time with your loved ones, you don’t know what time will bring. Stop spreading hatred and holding grudges in your heart. And please apologize for your mistakes on time, and mistakes happen to everyone, but if you apologize, then you have to act on it and not repeat that mistake. And the most important thing is to learn to forgive. Life is only two days, you don’t know when it will end.,” she added.

“Thank you so much, everyone. Please, once again, forgive and ask for forgiveness at the right time, and show love openly. Life is very short; we never know when it might end, and you may not get another chance. Just have faith in Allah. Allah Hafiz,” she further wrote.

While netizens discuss the possibility of her return to social media in the future, it merits a mention that her announcement comes hours after her first interview since after the leaks, was released.

She continued, “Those who are behind these videos, they are the ones making them go viral and talking negatively about me. There are many people involved, but no one asks what I am going through. This is a very difficult time for my parents, and I am going through an extremely hard time as well. Even God says that if you keep someone’s secret, He will keep yours. Difficult times can come for anyone. People don’t consider that I am also just a girl.

She also showed her independence by saying, “Until I don’t complete my education, you and your family will not pressure me to give birth to children. The message delivered by Sartaj Chahchi, a pivotal character in the drama, resonated deeply, “Until the population is not controlled, no one will be able to progress, population is even a bigger problem than employment. Our elders have said to live within the available resources. Give birth to as many kids as you can raise and educate. People give birth to kids but can’t feed them. First, parents ruin their kids’ childhood, and then masters exploit the children.”

  • ‘Can somebody please give me some auto tuner here’: Aima Baig’s snappy reply to Sara Raza

‘Can somebody please give me some auto tuner here’: Aima Baig’s snappy reply to Sara Raza

Aima Baig, one of Pakistan’s most popular singers, yesterday found herself the target of controversy when fellow singer Sara Zara openly questioned her singing abilities.

Raza appeared as a guest on Zarbardast where she suggested that Aima’s success was more about entertainment and less about genuine singing skill.

“If we take away auto-tune, then Aima Baig isn’t a singer,” she said.

Raza’s criticisms didn’t stop with Aima, she also commented on actress Mehwish Hayat’s musical abilities, claiming that while Hayat is a fantastic performer and actor, singing isn’t her strong suit.

Sara remarked, “There are many like this, we might enjoy them as actors or entertainers, but if I needed someone to act or model in a film or an item song, I’d hire Mehwish Hayat for her performance, not for singing because she can’t sing. I’m sorry, but that’s true.”

However, Aima Baig isn’t one to take the criticism lightly. Known for candid personality, she responded directly to Raza remarks on her Instagram account. Aima posted a video confidently asking her followers, “Can somebody please give me some autone tuner here .”

She even took a jab at Sara’s age, referring to her as ‘Aunty’ adding,
“Allah nay jisko jitna talent diya, baii humnay kabool hai baaki mjy koi bata dy. Ye aunty sahiba ha ikon actually miss krao. Mai to vaction enjoy karu LOL.”

In response to the remarks, Momina Mustehsan took to Instagram to express herself, saying, “Not that I have to say it, but not true, Aima sings very well, and so does Sara. Neither of them need auto tune.”

This exchange led Aima’s fans to rally in her defense, with many praising her live singing skills and viewing her response as a strong comeback to Sara’s criticism.

This back and forth brings up a larger question in music about what makes a true artist, a real talent or digital support. Many fans noted that Aima stands out in live shows and has a special energy on stage. Some critics, however felt that Sara comments might start a much-needed conversation about auto tune in the music industry.

Despite different views, this incident has only boosted Aima Baig’s image as a strong and fearless personality in Pakistani music, unafraid to stand up for her talent and career.

Sara Raza sang songs like Mere Dholnam Tere Mere Beech Mein, Wo Ishq Jo Humse Rooth Gaya, and Aima Baig sang songs like Kalabaz Dil, Befikriyan, Sajna Door, and Baazi.

Here is the story of Aima Baig.
