There is one thing Ali Safina will never ever do

Ali Safina has established himself in the entertainment industry with a successful acting, modelling and hosting career. He recently appeared as a guest in Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast where the host asked, “One thing you will never do.”

Safina replied, “I will never talk nonsense against Pakistan. Nowadays, it has become a trend to say bad things about Pakistan or whatever. We constantly talk badly about our own people. You know, people talk about the establishment, then cricketers, then artists. I mean, give us a break.”

The Fairy Tale actor reflected on the trend of negativity, expressing disappointment at how quickly people criticize and judge their own country’s achievements.

“What I’m trying to say is, why everyone so angry is. Why is everyone judging others? I think our country is really great, a beautiful country, but people aren’t appreciating it. We’re destroying everything and fighting with everyone. Why are we fighting, we have nothing to celebrate. But even the little things sometimes we feel happy about them. Like recently, when our satellite went to space, people were still making negative comments about it,” he observed.

Ali Safina continued, “Okay, tell me, when was the last time we sent a satellite? It’s the first time we did something like this. Now that Sparco has finally done it, it’s a good thing. You know, people need to talk positively. But again, they only criticize. You’ll never find me speaking badly about Pakistan.”
Safina has starred in dramas like the Barat series, Suno Chanda, Chupke Chupke, and Very Film.

  • Hijab is not just about covering the head; I salute Zarnish’s decision: Nimra Khan

Hijab is not just about covering the head; I salute Zarnish’s decision: Nimra Khan

Famous actress Nimra Khan praised the hijab of former actress Zarnish Khan, who left the entertainment industry, and said that people should learn from her what the true meaning of hijab is.

Recently, Khan was invited to a podcast discussing various topics, including her kidnapping.

“Veil and hijab mean to cover the body and face completely. The purpose of hijab is not only to cover the hair and part of the face. Whether right or wrong, it is between me and Allah,” she said.

“When one wears hijab, it means covering everything. If I stand before you (a man), nothing from head to toe should attract you. So, it covers not only the head but everything, including the eyes,” she added.

Citing the example of former actress Zarnish Khan, Nimra said that her career was on the rise, but Zarnish left everything and started veiling. “She is not even sharing reels (short videos) while wearing hijab.”

She added, “It is often seen that women and young girls wear hijab as a fashion statement. They wear hijab over jeans, pants, and shirts; some even wear makeup. They don’t understand the true meaning of hijab, which should not be done that way,” she said.

“I understand that some people earn their livelihood through social media, but Zarnish gave up everything completely. I salute and respect her decision because few people have that courage,” she praised Khan.

Hania Aamir reacts strongly to her fake AI videos going viral

Actress Hania Aamir spoke against her fake AI-generated videos circulating on the internet earlier this week.

She expressed concern over the misuse of artificial intelligence on her Instagram and questioned the absence of laws regarding it.

She shared a screenshot of the news from a private news website on her Instagram story.

According to the news shared by the actress, videos went viral on social media, and the girl’s face resembled that of Hania Aamir.

Hania Aamir clarified that these videos are not hers but were created using Artificial Intelligence (AI), making them appear convincing. She also questioned whether there are any laws to address this issue.

After the videos of a girl resembling Hania Aamir went viral, some social media pages supported the actress and confirmed that the videos were AI-generated.

Some social media users claimed that the girl in the videos is an Indian influencer who resembles Hania Aamir and frequently posts from various accounts.

She shared a screenshot of the Instagram account in question, which is run by Anureet Sandhu, a user with over 22,000 followers and more than 100 posts, many of which were AI-generated videos with her face.

The actress asked her followers to report the account, saying, “She has blocked me, but can you all report this account?”

The videos have now been removed, and many of her fans reported the profile.

Further investigation revealed the account was created in India, and its location was listed as Chandigarh.

According to a screenshot shared by Hania, the account’s name has changed 18 times since it was created in September 2022.

This incident has sparked new discussions about the ethical issues of AI technology and the need for stronger laws to prevent its misuse.

BBC Urdu’s Shumaila Khan talked to the actor and asked, “Hassan’s toxic behavior that we see, what do you hope the audience will take away from this message?”

Mizra replied, “Nearly everyone around us has trauma, and it has shaped us in a certain way. Hassan’s character shows that realizing the situation you are in is important, and viewers are talking about how he needs therapy. That’s exactly what we wanted to convey to the audience.”

The host asked, “Mawra’s character is Dr. Zara, a very empathetic wife. Despite seeing red flags, she is trying to understand Hassan. In your opinion, how much social pressure is there on married women in our society to maintain the marriage, you know, socially?”

In reply, Mohib shared a personal anecdote, “I remember a phrase my friend once said: ‘Brother, it’s like this once you’re married, that’s it. There’s no one else, just this.’ However, he continued, that this it shouldn’t be burdening as he shared. “Of course, you have to make it work. But I don’t understand why there’s so much pressure. It’s not like we’re trying to promote divorce or anything. We’re not promoting it. But, if there’s toxicity, if the situation is toxic, it’s like poison.”

The Jaffa actor stressed that this pressure can lead to mental illness. “Continuous stress is scientifically proven to cause some kind of mental or physical illness. So, no one should have to bear such negativity and poison,” he asserted.
