Influencer Doctor Madiha says she was scammed in land deal, now being threatened

Social media influencer Doctor Madiha has accused a man named Ahmed Ali Gujjar of scamming her in a five-marla plot deal and running away with her money.

She shared a detailed video on Instagram, saying that she wants people to spread her story as much as possible.

“For so many days, I have been posting stories about Ahmed Ali Gujjar, saying that he ran away with my money. I am posting all this so that you people share it as much as possible.”

Madiha explained that she and her husband Ahsan were buying a five marla plot of 128 Jeni. She said, “We gave the payment to Ahmed Ali Gujjar after he said everything was fine. It has been months now, and he has left the country.”

The influencer said she wants people to keep sharing her story because it will help her in the case. “That is why I am asking you all to share my story as much as you can, because your sharing will help me a lot,” she stated.

She also shared a threatening voice note that she received on WhatsApp.

In the audio, a person can be heard saying, “She is calling me bad names and taking my name on social media. Wherever you want to take my name, go ahead, but remember one thing clearly: If my honour is ruined, then I won’t let your honour remain unscathed either. You have already damaged my reputation. And if I lose my honour because of what you are doing and what the police people are doing, I will take revenge for all of it. Doing all this and ruining my respect won’t give you any money.”

In the caption of her post, Madiha wrote that she is receiving threats after the scam. She wrote that she is sharing everything for her safety and for public awareness.

She wrote that police recovered 29.5 percent of the payment from the family of the suspect. She added that the family claims the remaining amount is with Ahmed Ali Gujjar, who they say is in Malaysia.

She wrote, “Justice delayed is justice denied.” She also wrote that if anything happens to her or her family, the authorities should investigate the threats she has been receiving from Gujjar, his family and the people involved in the matter.

Doctor Madiha wrote that the plot file was fake, stressing that any individuals, companies or organizations mentioned in her posts, including Zameen.com and DHA Head Office, are not responsible for the scam and are mentioned only for context and public awareness.

She wrote that she is sharing her experience for educational purposes to warn people about scams, fake documents and fraudulent behaviour.

She also wrote that she is not trying to harass or defame anyone but wants to protect the public from similar cases.

Doctor Madiha ended her post by writing that the content is only for awareness and she hopes no one else becomes a victim of such fraud.

  • Contestant walks out of Pakistan Idol, claims voice was ‘autotuned’ beyond recognition

Contestant walks out of Pakistan Idol, claims voice was ‘autotuned’ beyond recognition

Pakistan Idol faces a fresh controversy after Top 16 contestant M Ibrar Shahid publicly accused the show of unfair treatment and excessive autotune manipulation of his performances.

Shahid, who voluntarily left the competition, took to Instagram and other social media platforms to share his grievances.

“I am not eliminated. I left the show on my own volition as I was not being dealt fairly,” Shahid said in his post. “My voice was being autotuned to the point that they did not even sound like my real vocals.”

The contestant revealed that producers threatened him with legal action. “I was unhappy but I was threatened with legal action if I spoke about the show online,” he shared. Despite the warnings, Shahid decided to speak out and explain what happened to him on the platform.

Shahid’s revelations triggered a divided response online, with many viewers criticizing him for speaking out against the show that gave him a platform.

“It’s not always that things are going according to your will and wish,” one user commented under his post.

Another viewer bluntly stated, “Your performance was not good.”

A third user wrote, “Bro, you were clearly out of surr! Judges have been fair with their judgement. Your performance was not up to the mark. Please absorb the remarks given to you!”

Many commenters questioned his decision to blame the show after reaching the Top 16. “You didn’t perform good at all in gala round. Work on yourself,” another user advised.

One particularly harsh comment read, “The platform supported you, and now you are maligning it. Every system has rules, and you simply couldn’t cope.”

Pakistan Idol, which features celebrity judges Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Fawad Khan, Zeb Bangash, and Bilal Maqsood, has not officially responded to Shahid’s allegations.

The production team has not clarified whether they will take further action regarding the claims.

  • Pictures: The Karachi that ‘Dhurandhar’ can’t even imagine

Pictures: The Karachi that ‘Dhurandhar’ can’t even imagine

Bollywood’s latest controversial spy thriller Dhurandhar sparked an unexpected response from Karachiites. Instead of outrage, residents flooded social media with stunning images showing a side of their city the film never bothered to explore.

The Aditya Dhar directored project starring Ranveer Singh portrays Karachi’s Lyari as the “core of terrorism in Pakistan.” The trailer shows a grim, dystopian landscape that bears no resemblance to the actual city of over 20 million people.

    Karachiites responded within hours.

Users began sharing breathtaking photographs under the phrase “Karachi, Dhurandhar can’t even dream of.” The images tell a completely different story.

Instagram user ‘karachista1’ shared a series of stories showcasing the beauty of Karachi. Sunset shots from Sea View Beach and the clifftop restaurants of Do Darya packed with diners enjoying fresh seafood appeared alongside the new Quaid-e-Azam Mausoleum standing pristine in white marble.

X users posted steaming plates of biryani, sizzling nihari from Javed Nihari, and the iconic bun kabab. Street vendors at Boat Basin serving seekh kebabs to late-night crowds became part of the visual narrative.

Images of modern skyscrapers along I.I. Chundrigar Road, the pink Jodhpur stone of Mohatta Palace, art exhibitions at Canvas Gallery, and theatre performances at the National Academy of Performing Arts (NAPA) flooded timelines.

The most powerful images came from Lyari itself. Residents shared photos of boxing clubs training young athletes, community schools, and football tournaments.

The Lyari Football Stadium, home to some of Pakistan’s finest players, appears nowhere in Dhurandhar’s version of the neighborhood.

Karachi produces a significant portion of Pakistan’s GDP. The city hosts the country’s largest port, financial hub, media industry, and fashion capital. Its restaurants serve cuisine from every province.

Dhurandhar claims to be “inspired by true events” while inventing connections between gang leader Rehman Dakait and police officer Chaudhry Aslam Khan with Indian intelligence.

    No such documentation exists.

The real story differs entirely. Rehman Baloch was allegedly killed in a police encounter ordered by SSP Chaudhry Aslam, sparking legal battles. Both men’s roles were rooted in Karachi’s local conflicts, not international espionage.

The film joins Bollywood productions like Fighter and The Taj Story that stretch “true events” into nationalist fantasy.

  • Internet thinks Akshaye Khanna copied father Vinod Khanna’s dance in Dhurandhar

Internet thinks Akshaye Khanna copied father Vinod Khanna’s dance in Dhurandhar

Akshaye Khanna’s entry scene in controversial Indian film Dhurandhar has become a talking point across social media, with fans sharing clips of the actor dancing during a sequence in the film.

In an interview, Danish Pandor, who plays Akshaye’s on-screen brother Uzair Baloch, revealed that the dance was not part of the script.
Danish said the sequence was filmed in Leh-Ladakh, with Vijay Ganguly choreographing the track. “Aditya sir was explaining the shot to Akshaye sir. The whole choreography was happening, and in the middle of that, Akshaye sir asked Aditya, ‘Can I dance?’ Aditya sir said, ‘Do whatever you like,’” Danish recalled.

During the take, Akshaye observed the other dancers and began performing steps on his own. Danish said everyone on set was stunned, and the team applauded after the shot.

In the scene, Akshaye, playing Rehman Dakait, steps out of a car in a black suit, greets the crowd, and unexpectedly joins a group of dancers before taking his seat. The song, Fa9la by Flipperachi, had been released in 2024 but went viral after the film’s release on December 5, 2025. Ranveer Singh, who plays Hamza Ali Mazari, shared the clip on Instagram, noting the track from the movie.

The entry has also drawn comparisons with a 1989 charity concert in Lahore, Pakistan, where Vinod Khanna danced alongside Rekha, Imran Khan, and Javed Miandad. Social media users highlighted similarities between Vinod’s moves and Akshaye’s sequence. One user on X wrote, “NVM I got it, Akshaye Khanna has copied his father in Dhurandhar,” and shared clips from both performances.

The sequence has generated reactions from Pakistani viewers as well. One comment noted, “Filmmakers must be unaware of the MQM situation in Karachi.” Another user posted on X , “I am convinced that Pakistan is the bread and butter of Bollywood. The unhinged obsession this country has with Pakistan is quite flattering. Peek, obsessed, crazy, ex-energy.”

Another stated, “No matter our internal differences, no one, including India, gets to insult our country, our forces, or our leaders. We may disagree at home, but we stand united against any external hostility.”

  • Nida Yasir finally apologises to food delivery riders

Nida Yasir finally apologises to food delivery riders

TV host Nida Yasir has apologised for her “choice of words” after facing widespread criticism for accusing Foodpanda riders of lying to pocket extra cash and admitting she deliberately delays their deliveries to “teach them a lesson.”

During a new episode of her morning show, Nida opened with a clarification. “A few days ago, during my programme, I shared my personal experience with you, an experience that was not pleasant. But my mistake was my choice of words, the way I chose to retell that experience,” she said.

She added that because her show is live, “we often aren’t careful about how we’re coming off.”

She then argued that she should have said “some people” instead of speaking broadly, as she insisted she never meant to target all riders.

“There are so many riders; in fact, the majority of the riders are working very hard to make ends meet. I am not sitting here to hurt anybody,” she said.

“I carry my heart on my sleeve, but I am human, not an angel, and sometimes what is in our hearts may not always come out right.”

Addressing the riders directly, she concluded: “However many rider friends of mine were hurt, I want to apologise to them. I salute hardworking riders. I didn’t mean to make light of their struggles.”

Yasir had originally said she believes riders “make a habit” of pretending they have no change, so customers must pay extra.

When she suspects this happens, she tells her driver to fetch change and makes the rider wait, knowing it will delay their next delivery. She said she does this to ensure they “learn a lesson.”

The controversy drew sharp criticism from fellow television host Fiza Ali, who openly condemned Yasir’s remarks.

Fiza highlighted the daily struggles riders face, noting they sacrifice sleep and comfort while risking their lives in harsh weather to deliver food. “Riders are not machines. They are humans with feelings and responsibilities,” she said, adding that while tipping is not compulsory, insulting someone is never acceptable.

She also pointed out that people easily spend 500 rupees on food but hesitate to offer even 20 rupees to riders. “Delivery may be late, but humanity should never be late,” she said.

Her comments became even more jarring after the FoodPanda app itself notified customers to keep the change ready when the rider arrives, clearly indicating that arranging change is the customer’s responsibility.

  • TikToker Kashif Zameer loses Rs1 million bet after gold chains prove fake on live TV

TikToker Kashif Zameer loses Rs1 million bet after gold chains prove fake on live TV

Famous TikToker Kashif Zameer, known for wearing heavy gold chains and keeping a lion at his home, has lost a Rs1 million bet after a jeweler exposed his expensive jewelry as fake during a live television show.

Kashif Zameer recently appeared on a program that Fizza Ali hosts. During the show, he boldly challenged viewers that he would pay Rs1 million to anyone who could prove his gold chains were counterfeit.

Fizza Ali took up the challenge and invited a jeweler onto the live broadcast to examine the jewelry. The jeweler tested the gold and declared it fake.

The jeweler then made his own counter-offer, stating that anyone who doubted his assessment could take the gold to any other jeweler for verification. He promised to pay Rs2 million if his judgment turned out to be wrong.

Kashif Zameer owns the Chaudhry Group of Companies Punjab. His social media profiles show him posing with various politicians and other prominent figures.

The loss of the bet marks yet another controversy for the TikToker, who has repeatedly attracted attention for his legal troubles and questionable activities over the years.

He initially rose to fame in 2021 when the Lahore Crime Investigation Agency arrested him for defrauding Turkish actor Engin Altan Duzyatan, who played Ertugrul Ghazi in the smash hit historical drama serial Dirilis: Ertugrul.

The Turkish actor had submitted an online application requesting the inspector general of police to take action against the TikToker. CIA DSP Mian Shafqat revealed that Kashif had issued a bogus cheque of Rs90 million in Engin’s name.

In April 2025, police arrested him for disrespecting the Punjab Police. A TikTok video showed Zameer handing a tray of money to a man wearing a police uniform at a wedding. Police identified the man as driver constable Khurram Shahzad.

In June 2025, the Crime Control Department of Lahore Police arrested him again along with 13 of his security guards for openly displaying weapons in public.

Zameer later issued a public apology in a video, expressing deep regret over his actions that sparked public outrage.

  • YouTuber Rajab Butt expelled from UK: report

YouTuber Rajab Butt expelled from UK: report

The British government has expelled renowned Pakistani YouTuber Rajab Butt after discovering he concealed criminal cases when applying for his visa approximately 18 months ago.

According to reports, British authorities cancelled Butt’s visa and ordered him to leave the country after discovering that he failed to declare ongoing criminal proceedings against him in Pakistan during his visa application process.

Journalist Murtaza Ali Shah broke the news in a video report, citing sources and revealing the reason behind the expulsion.

“According to credible Home Office and legal sources, Rajab Butt was arrested by the UK’s [United Kingdom] counter-terrorism intelligence agency. Both Rajab Butt and Nadeem Nani Wala [Nadeem Mubarak] were taken into custody and questioned. The arrest was based on multiple complaints alleging that they were involved in illegal activities in the UK, including terrorism-related allegations,” Shah said.

He added that investigators cleared both influencers of these accusations. “During the investigation, it was discovered that all complaints were fake and they were not involved in any such activities.”

However, Shah said, the case then moved to the Home Office for visa verification where officials reviewed Butt’s visa application.

“It was discovered that he lied in his declaration form because he had ongoing cases in Pakistan that he did not mention,” the journalist explained.

Shah quoted sources as saying that Punjab Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) among other Pakistani authorities had also filed complaints against Butt in the UK.

He said he directly spoke to Nadeem, who verified the arrests and subsequent release. “Nadeem was allowed to stay, but Rajab Butt’s visa was revoked, and he is now returning to Pakistan.”

Nadeem also confirmed that he was travelling with Butt to Pakistan and will return to the UK afterwards,” the journalist said.

Meanwhile, the Islamabad High Court has reportedly granted protective bail to both Butt and Nadeem.

Justice Raja Inam Amin ruled that law enforcement agencies cannot detain the two influencers when they land at Islamabad Airport on Wednesday. The court has ordered both men to appear in person on Thursday.

The decision came during a hearing where Justice Inam Amin reviewed petitions that the content creators submitted. Multiple cases currently hang over both individuals, including allegations related to cybercrime filed across various jurisdictions.

The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) filed an FIR against Butt in September, accusing him of using his social media accounts to promote illegal gambling apps.

Investigators claim these platforms, which include Binomo, 1xBet, Bet365 and B9 Game, deceived users by collecting their money without delivering promised returns. The complaint referenced several videos wherein Butt endorsed these services.

  • Foodpanda riders want public apology from Nida Yasir

Foodpanda riders want public apology from Nida Yasir

Foodpanda riders have requested a public apology from morning show host Nida Yasir after she said that they try to con customers.

The riders stated that her comments were disrespectful and diminished their contributions.

In a video message shared online, the riders emphasized the difficulties they encounter while making deliveries, disputing Yasir’s assertion that they often fabricate stories.

One rider stated, “You have hurt us and should apologize on the morning show.”

This request surfaced after Yasir stated, during an episode of “Good Morning Pakistan”, that delivery riders cause unnecessary issues. She suggested customers keep the correct amount of money handy and asserted that it is the rider’s duty to give change. “When they are delayed and arrive late for their next deliveries, then they grasp the situation. This has become second nature for many of them,” Yasir commented.

Previously, actress and television host Fiza Ali spoke out against Yasir’s statements. Addressing the everyday challenges faced by delivery riders, Fiza noted, “They navigate heavy rains, storms, and severe weather just to ensure our food reaches us. A mother might be waiting for her son. A child could be wishing for his father to return home soon. Many riders rely on a single bike as their sole means of earning.”

Fiza pointed out the rude treatment riders frequently endure. “We become upset if we don’t receive change; we may behave poorly if our order is late, and we dispute tips. While tipping isn’t mandatory, disrespecting someone is never justifiable,” she commented.

She also emphasized the human aspect of delivery work. “Riders aren’t machines; they are individuals with emotions and duties. If you show compassion today, Allah will assist you during your challenging moments tomorrow,” Fiza concluded.

Yasir’s remarks, which likened the conduct of delivery riders to past incidents involving household staff, have ignited considerable discussion on social media. While some users resonated with her experiences, many aligned with Fiza Ali and the riders, urging compassion, respect, and improved treatment of delivery personnel.

  • Pamaal’s big twist undercuts its own message and women deserve better

Pamaal’s big twist undercuts its own message and women deserve better

The major twist in Pamaal is here and it’s really not the one we wanted. The bad guy turns good because surprise, surprise the only way  an emotionally abused woman can leave a man is if the man dies, that too an early death with stage 4 cancer. Gone in 40 days, quite conveniently.

It’s just not the trajectory we hoped for, especially for Malika (Saba Qamar) who was supposed to find strength on her own, not because the pain was ‘tragically’ taken from her. We now have to feel bad for this guy who turned her into a beychari, albeit a rich beychari and she should be happy with that (right), and now he’ll have to die for her to find herself.

Exactly the lesson we do not want women to learn. It is very, very clear in episodes 18-19 that Malika would’ve never left Raza (Usman Mukhtar), if fate had not given him cancer (that is also so advanced, he’s only got a few days to live).

Would we want a Malika who will now make it on her own because of a dead husband or did we want the one who found herself even if he was alive?

Obviously, the latter but it’s clear that we won’t get that because it is now emotional abuser Raza who is telling Malika that she needs to be stronger, more independent to take care of her child since he won’t be around anymore.

Malika’s mother is no less obstinate, talking about how life ends when the husband dies and its almost like the first 15 episodes were a joke compared to what we are seeing now.

It makes little sense that Saba Qamar would pick a drama that was going on a very different trajectory and is now turning into an entirely new one. Initially when we saw this drama it prompted women to relate to Malika, telling their own stories or stories of other women they knew who were feeling trapped in their marriages to controlling men.

And all of a sudden the drama flips, Raza is a great guy with troubles not of his own making, Malika is the loving wife, and it’s such a contrast that we actually feel let down.

What remains to be seen is how Pamaal will recover from making Raza, the clear villain, the tragic hero and if women will now be able to relate because what we refuse to relate to is that to get out of an emotionally abusive marriage, it has to be fate that will help you – not yourself.
