Poonam Pandey slammed on social media for faking death

    Poonam Pandey is not dead!

Yes, yes, we are surprised too.

The Bollywood actress and model has revealed that the shocking news of her death was a planned campaign to fovus attention on the important issue of cervical cancer.

In a video posted on her Instagram today, the 32-year-old actress said, “I’m alive and well, I didn’t die of cervical cancer.”

Poonam apologized to her fans who were genuinely upset by the false news of her death. People on social media criticized the unusual way of raising awareness about cervical cancer, and there are calls for legal action against her.

In a series of videos, Pandey passionately talked about the importance of being aware of cervical cancer and how it can be prevented through early vaccination. She asked people to take the matter seriously, saying that awareness and vaccination can save lives. Although she acknowledged the extreme nature of her approach, she claimed it successfully started important conversations about the often overlooked disease.

Actress and producer Ekta Kapoor expressed disapproval and suggested legal action, calling it a “wasteful campaign.” Kapoor emphasized the need for responsible and meaningful initiatives for cancer awareness.

The controversy began on January 2 when Poonam Pandey’s manager announced her death on Instagram, claiming she was in the last stage of cervical cancer. This led to condolences and doubts about the news, with some suspecting a possible hacking of the actress’s account.
Despite the criticism and calls for legal consequences, Pandey stands by her decision. Her fabricated demise has sparked a nationwide debate on the appropriate methods for raising awareness about critical health issues.

    Anti-Pakistan Indian film ‘Fighter’ flops

    Karma is a queen!

Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan and actress Deepika Padukone’s anti-Pakistan film ‘Fighter’ has flopped.

According to Indian media reports, ‘Fighter’, which was released on January 25, did excellent business in the initial days, but gradually the film’s rule at the box office weakened.

The reports further state that the film has practically flopped on the fifth day of its release, with business dropping by 70-80 per cent after entering the 200 crore club on the fourth day.
Indian film analysts say that despite having anti-Pakistan content, the film failed to attract a large number of viewers.

Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone play squadron leaders of the Indian Air Force, while Anil Kapoor depicts their commanding officer.

We’d feel bad for them, but hey, this is payback for propaganda.

Maryam Noor opens up about challenges of apartment sharing

Maryam Noor, the well-known actress in the Pakistan showbiz industry, shared details of a tough experience of living in a shared apartment.
In a recent appearance on a private TV show, Maryam discussed various topics, including her past challenges.

She recounted, “When I moved to Karachi, I initially lived in a shared apartment. Many people who relocate from Lahore to Karachi desire a beautiful and clean place, but not everyone can afford expensive accommodation. I met a seemingly neat and honest girl who offered me a shared apartment.”
Maryam shared her family’s concerns when she informed them about the offer. “My family suggested renting a cheaper apartment instead of sharing. However, I reassured them that the girl was good and nothing bad would happen.”

As time passed, Maryam realized that the girl, who initially seemed straight and decent, changed after getting a boyfriend. Maryam began feeling like she was treated as if she were the maid, not an equal tenant.

Maryam explained, “Her behavior worsened over time. When my family visited, she behaved strangely with them. I decided to distance myself from her, but when I went to Lahore, she called me, claiming she had bought a house and demanded the deposit for the apartment.”

Reminding the girl of the two-month contract, Maryam insisted on waiting for the agreed period. Upon returning to Karachi, she discovered that the girl had stolen her belongings, thrown dead prawns in her room, and even placed spoiled food among her possessions.

  • Republicans in America think Taylor Swift, Beau conspiring for Biden to get re-elected

Republicans in America think Taylor Swift, Beau conspiring for Biden to get re-elected

You knew Taylor Swift was influential, but Republicans are now crediting the singer with James-Bond-villain-level powers in a wacky conspiracy theory claiming the singer’s romance with NFL star Travis Kelce is really a plot to rig the Super Bowl and get President Joe Biden reelected.

The relationship between the pop powerhouse and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end has gripped the nation for weeks, with TV cameras repeatedly panning from the field during the team’s surging NFL season to a cheering Swift in the stands.

Fascination peaked this weekend when the Chiefs defeated the Baltimore Ravens to book their berth in February’s Super Bowl and, in the midst of celebrations, Swift descended onto the field to kiss Kelce, fresh from playing one of the best games of his life.

It’s not much of a fairytale for Republicans in America.

Right-wingers — who, like their leader Donald Trump, increasingly see conspiracy theories under every stone — detected not a love story but a deep-state psychological operation against the American people and the November presidential election.

Fox News hosted a discussion with a former FBI agent asking: “Is Taylor Swift a Pentagon asset?”

A Trump media booster, Laura Loomer, told her more than 800,000 followers on X, the former Twitter, that “The Democrats’ Taylor Swift election interference psyop is happening in the open.”

And Vivek Ramaswamy, a failed Republican presidential candidate now fully behind Trump’s bid for a second term, suggested there is a plot to boost Biden through a faked Swift-Kelce relationship and a rigged Chiefs victory in the Super Bowl.

“I wonder who’s going to win the Super Bowl next month. And I wonder if there’s a major presidential endorsement coming from an artificially culturally propped-up couple,” he wrote on X. “Just some wild speculation over here, let’s see how it ages over the next 8 months.”

A major pro-Trump broadcast personality, Mike Crispi, said it all even more clearly: “EVERYONE knows Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce is fake and the Super Bowl is rigged. You’re a whacko at this point if you DON’T believe it.”

Swift will appear on stage at the Super Bowl halftime show, he said, and endorse Biden.

The nutty furor has roots in long-running hatred on the right for Swift, who is not only a global entertainment megastar but openly liberal and against Trump. She endorsed Biden in his successful 2020 bid to unseat Trump and flexed her muscles again last September by urging fans to register to vote -tens of thousands did.

Kelce, something of a legend for his outsized personality off the field and heroics during games, has become an unlikely target of the right himself after promoting Covid vaccines and, now, for being the boyfriend of an even bigger female celebrity.

The saga has already veered into distinctly dark territory. AI-faked pornographic images made to look like Swift got millions of views on X before being removed last week.

    And things may get weirder.

The Chiefs will face the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl on February 11 and the right-wing media-sphere is lining up behind the Californians – even though their team represents one of the most liberal cities in the world.

“I know we’ve all been roasting your city for years,” posted Rogan O’Handley, a hard-right personality with 1.3 million X followers.

“For 2 weeks, 99% of America will be 49ers fans but in return you MUST defeat the Chiefs,” he wrote. If they don’t, Biden will get reelected and “WW3 will likely follow.”

  • King Charles’ charity distances itself from Rahat after violent video

King Charles’ charity distances itself from Rahat after violent video

The British Asian Trust, a charity founded by King Charles III, has announced its decision to sever connections with Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan after a video of the singer slapping and assaulting a band member, went viral.

A spokesperson for the anti-violence organization stated that they chose to disassociate with Rahat after a careful review of the video. The Trust, with a stringent policy against abusive behavior, strongly condemned any form of violence, regardless of the circumstances.

Over the weekend, the Trust issued a statement, asserting, “We take all accusations of abuse seriously and will look into this urgently.”

The footage captured Rahat attacking a band member in Houston, Texas, last year, employing slaps, kicks, and even his shoes, while the person pleaded for him to stop.

In response to the controversy, Rahat addressed the matter on Saturday night, offering clarification that the situation in reality differed from what appeared in the video.

Meanwhile, the individual identified as his student stated that the “bottle” being mentioned in the viral video contained healing water given by a spiritual leader, which he had misplaced.

“He is like my father, my teacher. God knows how much he loves us. Whoever has done this, is simply blackmailing my teacher to defame him,” he added.

“The video is an internal matter of a teacher and a student. We do love a student over a good deed, as well as punish him if he commits a mistake,” the star singer said in a video statement issued on his official Instagram account.

“I forgot a bottle of water which was given by my pir (spiritual healer). I also apologised to my student at the same time,” he said referring to the “student” as Naveed Husnain.

In another video, Husnain explained that Rahat had apologized to him for their previous disagreement, leaving him feeling “embarrassed.” Husnain clarified that Rahat is his teacher, and he can handle the situation however he wants.

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has also met King Charles as the ambassador of the trust. The British Asian Trust, established by Charles in 2007, aims to address poverty and foster community relations.

Known as the greatest living singer in the Qawwali genre, popular in Pakistan, Rahat’s origins are rooted in the poetry and music of Islamic mystics, known as Sufis.

Back in February 2017, Prince Charles appointed Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan as the ambassador of the British Asian Trust during the trust’s fourth annual dinner at the Guildhall.

The announcement was made by Prince Charles, the President of the trust, during the event attended by over 450 supporters and ambassadors, including the Duchess of Cornwall. The occasion successfully raised £850,000 to support the trust and its projects in South Asia.

The trust actively runs various projects in South Asian countries, and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s performance at the event received praise. Notable Pakistanis currently associated with the Trust include prominent industrialists Mian Mansha from Lahore and Lord Zameer Chaudhry from London.

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan said: “I am delighted that the Prince of Wales announced that I will be working closely with the British Asian Trust as an ambassador to further support their work in transforming lives across South Asia.”

Why does Bushra Ansari think Yumna Zaidi is lucky?
