Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s mother Mehrunisa Siddiqui filed an FIR against his wife Aaliya, over a property dispute on Monday. Aaliya took to her Instagram handle to react on the same.
Taking to her Instagram, she wrote, “Shocking. my genuine criminal complaints against my husband go unattended by the Police. However, I enter my Husband’s house and a criminal complaint / FIR is immediately filed against me within a few hours. Will I ever get justice, this way.”
As reported by Versova Police, Mehrunnisa and Aaliya alias Zainab had a dispute over property. “Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s mother Mehrunisa Siddiqui filed an FIR against the actor’s wife Zainab. Versova police has called her for questioning. It is alleged that Zainab had an argument with Nawazuddin’s mother: Versova Police.” ANI tweeted.
Bollywood actresses Jacqueline Fernandez and Nora Fatehi have recorded fresh statements to Delhi’s Patiala House Court with regard to their alleged involvement in the conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar’s INR 200 crore exhortation case.
The actresses have made some shocking allegations against the conman and revealed how he introduced himself and all promises he made during their alleged relationship with him.
The conman’s money laundering case has been making headlines for quite some time now. It recently saw names of many other celebs like Nikki Tamboli, Chahatt Khanna, and others emerging.
Now in a recent development, Nora Fatehi and Jacqueline Fernandez accused the conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar of lying to them. India Today has accessed the actresses’ statements in the extortion case.
As reported by the portal, Nora Fatehi said in a statement, “Many actresses are dying to be taken care of by Sukesh. Initially, I did not know who Sukesh was. Later, I thought he used to work at a company called LS Corporation. I neither had any personal contact nor did I ever have any conversations with him. I had no clue about this and I never met him. The only time I saw him was when the ED confronted me with him at its office.”
While Jacqueline Fernandez said in her testimony that Sukesh Chandrashekhar “played with my emotions and made my life hell.” She said, “Sukesh misled me, and ruined my career and my livelihood. “Pinky Irani (the woman who introduced the actor to the conman) convinced my makeup artist, Shaan Muthathil, that he (Chandrashekhar) was an important official from the Home Ministry.”
Jacqueline further said, “He introduced himself as the owner of Sun TV and claimed J Jayalalitha was his aunt. Chandrashekhar said he was a big fan, and said I should do films in South India too, and as the owner of Sun TV, they had many projects lined up. We should try to work together in south Indian movies. He never mentioned he was calling from jail or that he was in jail. He used to call from one corner with a curtain and a sofa in the background.”
“He did not contact me after August 8, 2021, and I later got to know he was arrested for impersonating senior government officials of the Home Ministry and the law ministry. Pinky Irani always had an intention of cheating me. I was fooled by Shekhar (the name used by the conman to interact with the actor). At the time I got to know about Shekhar’s criminal background, I got to know that his real name is Sukesh. Pinky was aware of Shekhar’s activity and background. But she never disclosed this to me.”
Last year, ED’s first chargesheet mentioned that Chandrashekar gave Fernandez gifts worth over INR 5 crore from the sum he swindled. It has named the actor as an accused, alleging that she was aware that the gifts were bought from the proceeds of the crime.
“Sukesh Chandrasekhar had given various gifts worth INR 5.71 crore to Jacqueline Fernandez from the proceeds of crime generated by criminal activities including extortion. “Chandrasekhar had put Pinky Irani, his long-time associate, and co-accused in this case to deliver the said gifts to her,” the ED had then said in a statement.
Meanwhile, Jacqueline’s pictures with the conman got leaked, she shared a long note on her Instagram account and requested the media and her fans to not circulate her intimate pictures with Sukesh.
She wrote, “This country and its people have always given me tremendous love and respect. This includes my friends from the media, from whom I have learned a lot. I am currently going through a rough patch but I am sure that my friends and fans will see me through it. It is with this trust that I would request my media friends to not circulate images of a nature that intrude my privacy and personal space. You would not do this to your own loved ones, am sure you would not do this to me either. Hoping that justice and good sense prevails. Thank you.”
Chandrashekhar had claimed that he was in a relationship with the actress. Sukesh is a Bengaluru inhabitant who is currently the subject of 15 FIRs. He was previously accused of defrauding people in Bengaluru and Chennai out of numerous crores. He is currently detained in Tihar Jail in Delhi.
After much media speculation, Indian cricketer KL Rahul and Bollywood actor Athiya Shetty tied the knot today in an intimate ceremony held at her father, Suniel Shetty’s Khandala farmhouse on Monday.
Putting an end to fans’ wait, the couple took to Instagram to share the first photos as husband and wife. Safe to say, the newlyweds radiated an unmissable glow and happiness in the pictures.
“Today, with our most loved ones, we got married in the home that’s given us immense joy and serenity. With a heart full of gratitude and love, we seek your blessings on this journey of togetherness,” they captioned the post, along with a quote saying, “In your light, I learn how to love…”
For the nuptials, Athiya wore a blush pink chikankari lehenga by designer Anamika Khanna, featuring floral embellishments and embroidery all over. It was paired with a matching full-sleeved blouse featuring a sweetheart neckline and an uneven hemline, along with a semi-sheer dupatta. To accessorise the look, the bride opted for a heavy stone-studded choker with matching dangling earrings, a maang tikka, and dainty kaleerey. Athiya kept it minimal with her makeup to let the bridal glow do the talking.
Rahul, on the other hand, complemented Athiya in an ivory sherwani, also by Khanna, complete with an embroidered long overcoat and a dupatta worn around his neck. His wedding look was completed with a layered emerald neckpiece.
Also spotted were the bride’s family members – father Suneil and brother Ahan – who made heads turn in ethnic ensembles. While Suneil wore a chocolate-brown kurta-dhoti set with a layered stone-studded neckpiece and brown flats, Ahan kept it dapper in a white sherwani set complete with a matching long coat and brown juttis.
Reportedly, KL Rahul and Athiya first started dating in 2019 after being set up by one of their common friends. The same year, they seemingly made their relationship Instagram official, sending the internet into a frenzy. They also went to visit Thailand to ring in the New Year 2020 together.
Also, despite the couple keeping it low-key, their mushy social media pictures and several pap spottings were enough to make the fans root for them. Of late, Athiya can be seen accompanying Rahul to his overseas tours and the Shettys are often spotted enthusiastically cheering for the cricketer from the stands.
Actor Iffat Omar recently appeared on a podcast with Mansoor Ali Khan, where she discussed her fitness, youth, and medical procedures.

Screenwriter and producer Jemima Goldsmith has revealed that she came upon the idea to make the film ‘What’s Love Got To Do With It?’ after living in Pakistan and observing arranged marriage committees, which would look for spouses for people.
“The film kind of started as a joke with my friends who were in their thirties, when i came back to the UK after having lived in Pakistan in those years,” Jemima said on Australian show Project TV. “My ex-husband’s family is quite conservative so I lived in a joint family household. I lived with his father, his sisters, their husbands and kids. There were about 24 of us, living under the same house, and all our kids,” she revealed about her marriage to former Prime Minister Imran Khan. Jemima and the cricket hero divorced in _ after __ years of marriage. “I did get to see arranged marriages up close, long term ones and ones that were arranged that I was on the committee for. And some of them were like surprisingly, to me, with my pre-conceptions, happy and successful. So when I came back in my thirties, my friends were at the point where they were hoping to settle down, have kids, get married, maybe not get married. We would say if you had seen functional parents..who would they choose for you and would it work? And it became a conversation point, and I think there’s quite a lot to be said for like simmer then boil and walking into love or falling in love. And the idea that they always used to say ‘Love comes at the end of the beginning of marriage’, which is a completely different point of view,” she said. Jemima also described the film as ‘the rom-com Pakistan’, showing the colorful, vibrant side of the country that Western audiences don’t often see on the screen “It’s the rom-com Pakistan aside from the darkness of politics. It’s the jazz-hands version of Pakistan. Which is nice to show because you don’t often kind to see the colorful, vibrant Pakistan we’re much more used to seeing Pakistanis and Pakistan as a kind of darker place on our screens particularly in the US and the UK.. So it’s nice to show the version of Pakistan that I grew to love.”

Actor Shamoon Abbasi, Feroze Khan‘s former brother-in-law, recently talked about Khan’s domestic abuse controversy.
Abbasi recently said in an interview, “A lot of my fans and followers asked me about Feroze Khan’s issue, I usually don’t get into others’ personal problems but now I have been asked so I should reply, well, I am no one to judge in this regard, I have also faced these domestic issues which comes in married life and ironically I was married to Feroze Khan’s sister Humaima Malick.”
The Me Bushra star revealed, “We had a good time but there are issues that come between husband and wife, sometimes people exaggerate about it especially when they get social media support, they become a star, actors become public figures, also if social media is making you star then it has the power to ruin your career after your controversy”.
Shamoon claimed that while he doesn’t have the time to delve into these matters, he is aware of the problem because viral stories frequently appear on his phone. Shamoon stated, “now, I have been told that Feroze has leaked addresses of actors who are now in chaos and have taken legal action against Feroze”.
He said, “I have known Feroze since he was a cute kid, whatever has happened with him is his personal matter and no one should get into it, now the actors who spoken about it are taking legal actions, I am not taking Feroze Khan’s side but if you have a stance about it, you should be ready to face the consequences, besides this, it is a short Industry and we should not waste the fame in such fights”.

But now, eagle-eyed netizens have found another hilarious reason to keep mocking the film and the abysmal representation it offers of Muslims. In a viral post by twitter user @karakmufti, a scene from the movie shows a sign in a masjid where the Urdu text is quite absurd.

This led to users trolling the film all over again, like comedian Jeremy McLellan sharing that the makers of the film had relied on Google Translate for the Urdu text.

The first Miss Trance Pakistan, Shyraa Roy, is set to be the leading lady in the movie, Sanak. The thriller film is written by famous Indian filmmaker, Vikram Bhatt.
The upcoming psychological thriller also features Javed Shaikh, Resham, Muneeb Ali, Murad Kazmi, Beenish George, Marhoom Bilal, Zeenat Butt, and many others.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Roy shared the poster of the movie, captioning it, “This year every blood stain will remain as his benchmark!”
The film is produced by Roy’s production company, Roy Motion Pictures, in association with Vishesh films and Imdad Hussain Film Production. Sanak’s storyline follows a mentally unstable man Zaffar Minhas, who is obsessed with a popular actress Samaira Khan, as he tries to kill her acquaintances to get to her in the most horrifying and brutal ways.
Previously, the model and actor, has worked in several Bollywood films including, Street Dancer 3D, Mohenjo Daro, Aks, and Saaho.
Talking about her role, Roy said that she is playing a role of a famous top actor in the movie, like Mahira Khan and Deepika Padukone.
Indian Punjabi singer Daler Mehndi fell for a parody post claiming Prince Harry has written in his recent memoir Spare that he listened to the Indian singer in his lowest moments. The Twitter users had a field day reacting to Daler’s tweet as they couldn’t believe that he has mistaken a satirical post to be authentic.

Actor Imran Ashraf took to his Instagram stories to react to a viral Youtube video about his wealth. The Youtuber has grossly exaggerated and fabricated Imran’s actual assets.
