Fans of Netflix’s smash show Wednesday have started a petition to remove Percy Hynes White from the show after several women came forward to accuse the actor of harassment and rape.
It started with a thread by twitter user @milkievich who shared that she knew White and his friends, and had attended their house parties where they would invite women they thought were attractive. The user said the men would then get them drunk to have sex with them.

The thread soon lead to many other women coming forward with the same allegations, which were shared under the same thread. Currently, the hashtag #cancelpercy is trending on Twitter, with fans calling for Netflix and Jenna Ortega to remove White from the show. The actor has disabled his Instagram comments, and has yet to respond to the allegations.
Alec Baldwin and armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed are being charged with involuntary manslaughter for the accidental death of cinematographer Halyan Hutchins on the set of the film ‘Rust’. According to prosecuters, if found guilty, Baldwin and Reed would face up to 18 months in prison and a $5000 fine. New Mexico First Judicial District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies has said that the decision to charge Baldwin was made after doing a thorough review of the evidence and laws. Stating that no one is above the law, she said, “After a thorough review of the evidence and the laws of the state of New Mexico, I have determined that there is sufficient evidence to file criminal charges against Alec Baldwin and other members of the ‘Rust’ film crew. On my watch, no one is above the law, and everyone deserves justice.” Baldwin’s lawyers have responded by pointing out the charge was ” terrible miscarriage of justice” as the actor had relied on professionals on set to assure him he can pull the trigger “Mr. Baldwin had no reason to believe there was a live bullet in the gun — or anywhere on the movie set,” he said. “He relied on the professionals with whom he worked, who assured him the gun did not have live rounds. We will fight these charges, and we will win,” the actor’s lawyers said. Baldwin was handed the gun by Assistant-Director Dave Halls, who told him that it was cold- which means a weapon is safe to use. Baldwin then pointed the gun at Hutchins and pulled the trigger, hitting the cinematographer in the chest. She died of her wounds in the hospital. The incident sent shock waves around Hollywood and called for better safety protocols on film sets. In his first sit down interview with ABC, the ‘Beetlejuice’ actor released details of how the accident happened when Hutchins was guiding Baldwin on how to hold the gun for a certain angle in a film scene: “So then I said to her ‘Now in this scene, I’m going to cock the gun.’ I said, ‘Do you want to see that?’ And she said, ‘Yes.’ So I take the gun, and I start to cock the gun. I’m not going to pull the trigger,” Baldwin told Geroge Stephanopoulos. “I said, ‘Do you see the shot? ‘Well just cheat it down and tilt it down a little bit like that.’ And I cock the gun and I go ‘Can you see that? Can you see that? Can you see that?’ And she says — and I let go of the hammer of the gun and the gun goes off.”

Veteran actor Bushra Ansari in a press release called out people who are running her ‘fake’ Twitter accounts for personal gains.
These accounts were initiating political conversations against Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Imran Khan. Bushra reached out to Cyber Crime Cell in Karachi.
As per the complaint, there are more than ten fake accounts under her name on Twitter. These accounts have engaged in malicious political campaigns. In a video alongside Press Release, Bushra expressed disappointment and promises to take strict legal action against these profiles.

A report on Box Office India revealed that one of the best & the biggest multiplexes of Hyderabad, Prasads Multiplex saw a whopping 1800 tickets being sold in just 2 hours of bookings going live.
Several reports further state that the Siddharth Anand directorial has already collected over Rs 2 crore in advances for day one.
The film is now easily on course to be the biggest post-pandemic when it comes to advance booking beating last year’s Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva.
That’s not all, going by the massive response to the advance booking, a report in Bollywood Hungama predicts an opening day in the range of Rs 40 crore plus in India.
The film is releasing on Wednesday, which is a normal working day and to collect in the range of Rs 40 crore on a non-holiday is pretty huge.
Earlier, the advance booking in several international territories opened to massive response and the film is set to create new records in several countries.
Predicting the biz on the extended opening weekend, trade analyst Girish Johar told ETimes that Pathaan is expected to earn Rs 300 crore global gross in the first 5 days of its release.
Also starring Deepika Padukone & John Abraham, Pathaan is slated for January 25, 2023, release.
Earlier this month, Hindu seer Mahant Paramhans Acharya threatened to burn Khan alive for supposedly ‘insulting’ saffron colour in his upcoming film Pathaan.
The threat has come about after extremists raged against a song in the film in which the female lead, Deepika Padukone, can be seen wearing a saffron bikini. The title of the song, Besharam Rang roughly translates to ‘Shameless Color’. Hindus revere the colour, with many priests choosing to wear saffron robes.
Acharya said that the song insulted the saffron color. “People of our Sanatan Dharma are protesting continuously regarding this matter. Today we have burnt the poster of Shah Rukh Khan. If I get to meet the film Jihadi Shah Rukh Khan, I will burn him alive,” he said.
Mumbai Police reported receiving a complaint to fill an FIR against the movie’s director, producer, and actors for the song Besharam Rang. The complaint was regarding the saffron bikini Deepika had worn, saying that the color had been used to hurt the religious sentiments of Hindu people.
Spanish singer Shakira and her husband Gerard Pique are parting ways after the former football player’s infidelity came to light. The Mumbai Police have detained Bollywood star Rakhi Sawant in a case filed by model and actor Sherlyn Chopra.
Rakhi Sawant and Sherlyn Chopra have been at loggerheads for quite some time. It all began to make headlines when Sawant supported #MeToo accused Sajid Khan’s entry into the Bigg Boss 16 house which was opposed by the latter. Their war of words aggravated when Ms. Chopra filed a complaint against Sawant at Juhu Police station. Now in the latest development of their catfight, the Krazzy 4 actress has been detained by the Mumbai Police.
Chopra took to Twitter to share the breaking news of Rakhi Sawant’s arrest. Sherlyn wrote, “Breaking News!!! Amboli Police has arrested Rakhi Sawant in respect of FIR 883/2022 yesterday, Rakhi Sawant’s ABA 1870/2022 was rejected by Mumbai Sessions Court.” She shared the same Tweet in Hindi too. Earlier speaking about her complaint against Rakhi, Sherlyn Chopra told a section of media that Rakhi Sawant had earlier mentioned in her interview that she will hit Sherlyn, or kill her. According to our constitution, nobody has a right to send death threats. Her legal team then filed a complaint under the IPCs 499 (Defamation), 500 (Punishment for Defamation), 509 (Word, gesture and act intended to insult the modesty of a woman), and 503 (Criminal Intimidation) the complaint is filed in Juhu Police Station, Sherlyn had said.
The popular Korean drama ‘Crash Landing On You’ is reportedly getting a re-make in Hollywood, with a strong possibility that it will have sci-fi influences. The idea originated from the New Yorker profile of Netflix’s Global Head of Television Bela Bajaria, where he and the streaming service’s head of drama development, Jim Howe, discuss how they might remake the hit K-drama as it was specifically about North and South Korea.
“So, I think we’re gonna see if maybe we can make that divide a little bit more symbolic. We’re looking into sci-fi,” Howe replied.
“Well, you need a world, right?” Bajaria responded. “Because it is the culture clash of two people who don’t fit together but were meant for each other.”
‘Crash Landing On You’ stars Son Ye-Jin as a South Korean heiress and business woman who accidently lands in North Korean part of the demilitarized zone after paragliding. She meets Captain Ri Jeong-hyeok (played by Hyun Bin) who agrees to hide her in his home and pretend they are fiancees. The two begin to fall in love with each other.
Actor Muneeb Butt has called out Feroze Khan for leaking the phone numbers and home addresses of his wife, Aimen Khan, and sister Minal Khan. “Leaking my family’s personal details on your social media trying to play smart by uploading the notice of a law firm and then deleting it,” Butt wrote on Instagram, addressing the embattled Feroze. “Whoever is suggesting this to you has thrown you into deep trouble my friend I feel bad for you now you will have to face all of this… Initially I thought it’s a stupid mistake waited for 24 hours but no apology or excuse proved that it was a deliberate move, I thought you were better than that seriously. The next screenshot was of the cyber stalking complaint Butt had filed against Khan at the Cyber Crime Reporting Center, and in the caption he had written: “It’s easier to mention your and your family’s personal phone number and residence details here but there is a difference! I still respect your family as mine and would never do that to them.”
Butt also took a dig against Khan’s lawyer, Faique Ali Jagirani, by sharing a screenshot of his Youtube channel where the lawyer had uploaded details of the ongoing case between Khan and his ex-wife, Alizeh Sultan. In the caption, Butt criticized the lawyer for profiting off from the case for the sake of adding subscribers.
