    Mariam stated that she has been wooing Saboor since last seven years for her brother.

    “Congratulate Coke Studio for a sublime start to 2022 with two powerhouses of Pakistan, Abida Parveen & Naseebo Lal. The Foreign Office is pleased to partner with the platform elevating Cultural Diplomacy footprint through our missions across the world,” the minister said in a tweet.

    Abida Parveen and Naseebo Lal have opened the 14th season of Coke Studio with an extravagant song “Tu Jhoom.” The song has sent excited fans on a listening spree.


    This year, Coke Studio is produced and curated by music composer Xulfi. Written by Adnan Dhool, “Tu Jhoom’s” music is arranged and produced by Xulfi and budding artist Abdullah Siddiqui.

    In an old interview, Hollywood actor Kristen Stewart expressed her admiration for Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan and said she wants her baby to look like him.

    The Twilight actor said, “If I have a baby boy, I would want him to look like Hrithik Roshan, but with Rob’s (Robert Pattinson; her then-boyfriend) eyes.”

    The old 2012 clip is back again in the limelight in which Stewart also shared that she would ‘love’ to work with Roshan. The actor, ahead of the release of her final Twilight saga movie, Breaking Dawn Part 2, was asked about Hrithik in an interview when she commented on the Bollywood heartthrob.

    Roshan who just turned 48 admitted he felt happy after the news and it lifted his mood on a particularly bad day for him.

    At that time, there were reports that both [Stewart and Roshan] were being considered for a movie. However, the movie never got made.

    Actor Usman Mukhtar has recently shared a behind the scene (BTS) picture from the sets of drama serial Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay. The picture features Usman, Mahira Khan, Kubra Khan and Zainab Qayoom.

    Sharing the picture on Instagram, Usman revealed that Mahira becomes a ‘dangerous creature’ if she does not get food after every 40 minutes.

    “While it may seem that @mahirahkhan expression is that of pain, it is actually that of Hanger. It’s been 40 mins without food. Hunger has turned this docile and calm human into a dangerous creature,” he wrote.

    Comparing Kubra with fish, he added: “Fish sleep with their eyes open. @thekubism seems to be following the same sleeping patterns.”

    Commenting on Zainab’s pose in the picture, Usman hilariously said that the actor is singing her unreleased song “Cool it”.

    While the actor also commented on two boys standing in the back. He said that they are dicussing the biryani and if its better with aloos (potatoes) or without them.

    Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay recieved mix response from the fans. The drama is produced by Nina Kashif and was written by famous novelist Umera Ahmad.

    Living legends of Pakistan music industry Abida Parveen and Naseebo Lal have opened the 14th season of Coke Studio with an extravagant song “Tu Jhoom.” The song has sent excited fans on a listening spree while they have gone crazy about it.

    The opening lines are sung by the folk queen Lal, followed by the Sufi maestro Parveen. “As we start on this new journey, we ask you to celebrate life,” read the official caption of the song.

    This year, Coke Studio is produced and curated by music composer Xulfi. Written by Adnan Dhool, “Tu Jhoom’s” music is arranged and produced by Xulfi and budding artist Abdullah Siddiqui.

    This time, Xulfi (Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan) has also used artists, who are performing on the melodious song and powerful vocals of the music queens Lal and Parveen.

    Twitter is flooded with praise and applause for the two veterans.

    The superstar of Pakistan Mahira Khan thanked the legendary singers on Twitter.

    Taking to Twitter, actor Shaan Shahid wrote: “Well done Coke Studio… the poetry is like journey.. Naseebo lal a traveler.. and Abida jee the Sufi Guide.”

    Similarly, singer Hadiqa Kiani took to Twitter and wrote: “Never knew my soul needed the powerhouse duo of Abida Parveen and Naseebo Lal together. Absolutely breathtaking. Cannot wait to hear more from this season of@cokestudio.”

    While many showered their love on the powerhouse duo.

    Kirsten Dunst, who acted with Tobey Maguire in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man, has said that she is proud of the iconic upside-down smooch.

    Speaking to W Magazine, the actor confessed she was made to do her research before performing the scene.

    “Water was getting up his [Tobey Maguire] nose because of the rain, and then he couldn’t breathe in the Spider-Man suit … and it just felt very late at night. I didn’t think about it that way,” she talked about the cold and rain situations on set.

    She continued: “But the way it was presented to me, [director Sam Raimi] gave me this book of famous kisses, so that made me realize how romantic and special Sam wanted this to be,” she explained. “Even though it wasn’t necessarily feeling that way with Tobey hanging upside down. I’m proud to be a part of that.”

    “It looked like a great kiss,” she added, considering the extreme weather conditions the couple was surrounded by.

    On the other hand, the singer has been issued a notice by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for non-payment of worth Rs 85 million.

    Arooj Aftab first Pakistani artist to perform at Coachella with mega stars

    Grammy-nominated Pakistani singer Arooj Aftab has announced that she will be performing on April 15 at the music festival Coachella in California.

    ‘Mohabbat’ singer is also going to be the first Pakistani artist to be performing at the American art and music festival. The news comes after she revealed that she will make her first Coke Studio appearance this season.

    Aftab shared a list of artists who will be performing on the first day of the festival on two weekends including Harry Styles, Lil baby, Daniel Caesar, Phoebe Bridgers, Big Sean.

    The music festival has returned after a three-year break due to Covid-19. Coachella is one of the largest, most famous, and most profitable music festivals in the world.

    After the announcement, Pakistan celebrities came forwards to congratulate the artist.

    Atif Aslam, Aima Baig to sing PSL Seven’s anthem

    Famed pop-singers Atif Aslam and Aima Baig will be singing this year’s Pakistan Super League (PSL) anthem which has been produced and composed by budding artist Abdullah Siddiqui. The anthem will be released during an event next week.

     It is pertinent to mention that it will be the first time that Atif will be singing the PSL’s main song, while Aima already featured in last year’s “Groove Mera”.

    As per Abdullah, “the song’s premise is encouraging and motivational, with words and music intended at elevating the spirits of fans.”

    Atif is one of the most popular Pakistani singers, who has recorded numerous chart-topping songs for local as well as the international film industry. In 2008, the singer was awarded the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz from the Government of Pakistan, while also receiving over 50 different awards from within and outside Pakistan.

    Meanwhile, Baig is one of the most popular female singers in the country and she has a number of hits released over the years. Baig has won several awards both locally and Internationally.

    Speaking about the event, Abdullah said: “Getting to produce this anthem is a dream for any musician, and I’m very honoured and thankful to the PCB for the opportunity this year.”

    “Both Atif Aslam and Aima Baig are undeniably the best and working with them has been a privilege. I’m very excited for fans to hear what we have come up with,” he added. 

    The producer further said: “We have tried to produce a song that captures the spirit of the game in a meaningful way, while still being very fun and catchy.”
