    Ten exciting telefilms releasing this Eid-ul-Azha

    Eid-ul-Azha is around the corner and the leading entertainment channels are set to broadcast multiple telefilms during all three days of the Eid festivities.

    Here’s a list of the ten most exciting telefilms:

    Uff Yeh Biwiyan Reloaded

    The popular TV host Nida Yasir and director Yasir Nawaz have something special lined up on Eid. The popular comedy telefilm Uff Yeh Biwiyan was released earlier on Eid-ul-Fitr. The fans will get a special sequel to the film this upcoming Eid. This telefilm is already creating a buzz on social media with its viral behind the scene clips. The project will also feature Shaista Lodhi and Sahiba Rambo in pivotal roles.

    Wedding Virus

    Muneeb Butt and Hiba Bukhari will be starring in a film with some “wedding shenanigans”. During an interview, the Fitoor diva said that this is a family-oriented drama and she is very excited about the storyline to unfold. Veteran actors Rubina Ashraf and Wasim Abbas will also be seen in pivotal roles.

    Ghann Chakkar

    Mahnoor Baloch and Aijaz Aslam will be starring in the telefilm Ghann Chakkar. Mahnoor will be seen in a movie after a long time. Along with them, it features Faysal Quraishi and Hina Dilpazeer. It will be exciting to see the Main Aur Tum duo, Aijaz and Faysal together on screen again.

    Pyar Mein Blind

    Shahzad Sheikh will be seen in an upcoming telefilm Pyar Mein Blind along with Kinza Hashmi, Noor ul Hasan and Ahmed Hassan. The shooting is still in progress.

    Hona Tha Pyar

    After rising to fame from Eid drama Chupke Chupke Arslan Naseer is again going to be seen in Hum TV’s next project. A telefilm starring Sanam Jung.

    Nawab And Sons

    Some great news for Sana Fakhar’s fans. She will be starring in an upcoming telefilm along with Javed Sheikh, Azfar Rehman, Nausheen Shah and Yasir Nawaz.

    Shadi Ka Hero

    Muneeb Butt and Ushan Shah will be seen in a romantic telefilm. They have previously worked in Hum Production’s telefilm, Pinky Ka Dulha. Their on-screen chemistry and performance are much anticipated.

    Akkar Bakkar

    A star-studded rom-com with Hina Altaf, Muneeb Butt, Sana Askari and Hina Dilpazeer. It is based on the festival of Eid. We are excited to see how the story unfolds.

    Romantic Razia

    This is another 7th Sky Entertainment Eid telefilm written by Hassan Imam and directed by Mazhar Moin. The cast includes Azfar Reham and Hina Altaf.

    Dadi ka Damad

    This is 7th Sky Entertainment Eid telefilm directed by Saima Waseem and the story is by Sumaera Fazal. The cast includes Affan Waheed, Madiha Imam, Hina Hayat, Farhan Ali Agha and Manzoor Qureshi.

    Veteran actress Naila Jaffri passes away, was battling cancer

    Earlier this year Yasir Hussain, Mikaal Zulfiqar, Ayesha Omar and Sabeeka Imam stepped forward and raised their voice for veteran actress Naila Jafri, who was battling ovarian cancer.

    The Mausam fame veteran actress passed away on Saturday, July 17.

    In her appeal video, Naila had requested for compensation of her re-broadcasted dramas on PTV.

    “For the last six years, I [have been tied to] hospitals, as well as illness and cancer,” said the veteran actor. “I have also not had my second round of chemo either because of persistent infection and during this time I wondered: ‘What if the government lends a hand in this? What if they set up some policies for older people from the arts and sports sector?’.”

    She further said: “When I initially joined PTV, I would get royalties for re-run shows and while that amount was nowhere near enough, it was still something and I liked having a stream of disposable income on the side.”

    “I have been confined to a hospital bed for six years now and while everyone has supported me, loved me, helped me, and motivated me I wish there was some way to gain royalties on some of my last re-run plays,” said the actor. “Though I understand that it might not look like a lot to many people, for people like me who stopped working years ago, this support becomes important.”

    “I request and demand that something is done for senior artists in the future since it’s become harder and harder for us to manage,” requested Naila.

    Her famous and notable projects include Noorpur Ki Rani and Anaya Tumhari Hui.

    Activist and Wasim Akram’s better half, Shaneira Akram recently schooled actress Minal Khan for not wearing a seat belt. Shaneira shared a screenshot from Minal Khan’s recent video in which she can be seen travelling without wearing a seat belt wrote with her beau Ahsan Mohsin Ikram, the Australian diva captioned her post as, “Come on guys you are famous, and have millions of followers, is it too hard to be a little more responsible?”

    She added, “Put your seat belt and eyes on the road, I’m sorry to say but that song won’t be as cute if she is singing it in hospital.

    The Pyar Ke Sadqay actor posted a picture of himself with a cryptic caption on Instagram stating, ‘Live the life you want to live and never let others dictate how you should live your life. You only get one life. Enjoy it, cherish it because the most expensive thing in this world is time and the time you lose will never come back to you”.

    On the work front, Minal is currently featuring in ARY’s Ishq Hai opposite Danish Taimoor.

    Sheheryar Munawar ropes in Mahira Khan and Zahid Ahmed in his directorial debut

    Sheheryar Munawar is donning the director’s cap for his upcoming directorial debut. This venture is a short film for the streaming platform See Prime. The Parey Hut Love star has roped in Mahira Khan and Zahid Ahmed as his film’s lead pair. This is the first time that Humsafar’s Mahira and Daldal’s Zahid are teaming up together.

    The lead pair was spotted yesterday at a wedding ceremony.

    Sheheryar and Mahira have earlier collaborated as actors in 7 din Mohabbat In, Parey Hut Love and Ho Mann Jahan. The team is currently also working on the music for the screenplay.

    It is expected to release later this year.

    Ammara Hikmat has reacted to Aiman and Minal’s justification saying, “Oh wow!, What a justification for plagiarism.”

    A fashion blog called out the Khan sisters for plagiarism recently and Ammara the producer of The Legend of Maula Jatt starring Fawad Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi and Mahira Khan commented on their justification.

    In their interview with Oprah, Meghan and Harry made several shocking revelations about their life as senior members of the royal family, including harrowing discussions in the royal family about the colour of their son’s [Archie] skin, losing royal protection and the pressures that led the Duchess of Sussex to contemplate suicide.

    The prestigious Emmy Awards will broadcast on Sunday, September 19.

    Supermodel Sabeeka Imam has questioned Azaan Sami Khan’s casting in drama seriel Ishq-e-Laa co-starring Sajal Aly and Yumna Zaidi.

    “So it seems like you need zero onscreen acting experience and you could also debut with both the AMAZING Yumna and Sajal,” she wrote.

    “Mujhe bhi itni hi achi LUCK chahiye where I don’t have to earn it or prove myself first & it just gets handed to me on a plate,” she added.

    Sabeeka after recieving the criticism on her tweet said, “Aap log humein bura bhala kahen to woh sab theek hai lekin main as an artist koi opinion doon to main “jealous”? Salman Khan ki baat sach hai… “main karoon to saala character dheela hai.”

    Earlier actor Muneeb Butt also claimed that he thinks, Azaan is a product of nepotism.

    It is pertinent to mention here that Azaan Sami Khan will make his acting debut alongside Yumna Zaidi and Sajal Aly in Ishq-E-Laa. Directed by Amin Iqbal, the script is penned by the veteran writer, Qaisera Hayat of Alif Allah Aur Insaan fame.
