In conversation with Hassan Choudary on his show Heart to Haute, Ahsan talked about his character, drama’s story and when it is going to end.
“I got inspiration from one of the very famous scholar Zameer Akhtar Naqvi, who is no more with us,” said Ahsan while talking about his character.
“His way of speaking attracted and inspired me. There were a lot of memes through which I gained inspiration”, added Ahsan.
Ahsan has been creating waves with his performance as Rashid in the drama serial Qayamat. The Udaari actor has been winning praise for his portrayal of a spoiled and abusive husband. In fact, the actor had even received love from across the border for his role in the drama serial. Veteran Bollywood actress Zarina Wahab, in a Whatsapp message sent to the actor, praised him, writing: “As Rashid, you are too much… Excellent work.”
Written by Sarwat Nazir and directed by Ali Faizan, Qayamat features an ensemble cast with names like Neelam Muneer, Haroon Shahid, Saba Faisal, Shabbir Jan and Amar Khan.
Yami Gautam on Friday tied the knot with Indian director Aditya Dhar. Yami made the announcement on social media by sharing a picture from her wedding day with a note. Aditya directed Yami in his 2019’s Blockbuster film, URI: The Surgical Strike.
She started by sharing a quote from Rumi: “In your light, I learn to love.”
“With the blessings of our family, we have tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony today,” she added.
“Being very private people, we celebrated this joyous occasion with our immediate family.’
She continued, “As we embark on the journey of love and friendship, we seek all your blessings and good wishes.”
In February, another Bollywood actress, Dia Mirza also tied the knot with Mumbai-based businessman Vaibhav Rekhi in an intimate ceremony. The wedding ceremony took place at Mirza’s residence in Bandra, Mumbai.
The Delhi High Court dismissed the lawsuit filed by actress Juhi Chawla against the setting up of 5G wireless networks in India on Friday (June 4).
In its order, the Delhi High Court said that “it appears that the suit was for publicity”. It said that Juhi Chawla circulated the link of the hearing on social media, which created disruption thrice.

“Delhi Police shall identify the persons and take action against those who created a disruption,” the court added.
The court also directed the local Police to identify and take action against the person who disrupted proceedings of the Delhi high court during the hearing on the matter. The unidentified person on Wednesday did not stop singing songs from popular movies of the actress during the online hearing until he was muted and removed from the online hearing.
The court didn’t approve of Juhi including her social media fans in the hearing process.
Billionaire make-up mogul Huda Kattan has urged people to stop using photoshop and look beyond unrealistic beauty standards by sharing an over-edited version of a picture from the campaign of her newly launched beauty line GloWish to show what the picture would have looked like after editing.
“We’ve had ENOUGH of the over-editing, photoshop and not showing enough realness!!! So we thought we’d look in the mirror and start with ourselves,” she wrote in the caption of the post.
“Here is a not so, ‘perfect’ photo from our GloWish campaign shoot and I thought it would be really interesting to show you guys what it would have looked like had we chosen to photoshop and try to sell unrealistic beauty expectations,” she added.
Earlier, this year in April she said that she has “had enough” of filters and photo editing, as they have warped modern beauty standards into something “unrealistic”.

Gohar shared an interesting BTS from the sets of this Khizer Idrees directorial on Instagram. Ayeza plays the character of a TikToker, “Geeti Princess” and asked fans to follow her character’s account on video sharing app.
Imran Abbas and Saba Qamar are collaborating for the first time in this Saqib Khan directorial. After giving stellar performances in Baaghi and Cheekh, Saba Qamar took a break from television and shot for two feature films which will release post the pandemic woes. Written by Sara Qayyum, it also features Chupke Chupke fame, Sidra Niazi and Asad Siddiqui in significant roles. In his latest interview with Dawn, Imran said, “The subject is very nice and unusual, different from what is happening these days.”
Fahad Mustafa has roped in Danish Taimoor and Minal Khan for his upcoming production venture. The serial is touted to be a love story with some major plot twists. It is being directed by Jalan fame Abiz Raza. The project has been on floors since March 2021 and is expected to release towards the end of this month. During the interview, Malala raised her concerns about the institution of marriage saying, “I still don’t understand why people have to get married. If you want to have a person in your life, why do you have to sign marriage papers, why can’t it just be a partnership?”

Sonya Hussyn and Shoaib Malik recently appeared on Ahsan Khan’s show Time Out with Ahsan Khan. It was an Eid special show and Sonya told the host that she is a very good cook. Shoaib jumped into the conversation to add that he knows about Sonya’s cooking skills and that he has met Sonya’s welcoming family.
Sonya then went on to recall the time when her mother met Shoaib at her house and considered him to be a good match for Sonya, “My mother didn’t know he was married, she went upstairs and messaged me that, he’s good,” said Sonya adding that her mother is not very aware of what’s happening on social media.
In a follow-up segment Shoaib said, “My wife didn’t know I went to Sonya Hussyn’s house for dinner, It was kept a secret.”
The host asked Shoaib if he was given a chance to jump into the acting realm what kind of a character would he like to play to which the cricketer replied that he would like to play a funny character.
Sonya also made an interesting revelation on the show that she still hasn’t received her cheque for the movie Tich Button, which is produced by Urwa Hocane despite completing the shoot.
Shoaib and Sonya maintained their humorous banter throughout the show.
