Hum TV on December 16 celebrated the 16th anniversary of its premier entertainment channel in Islamabad in a special show hosted by Ahmed Ali Butt and Shiffa Yousafzai.
The anniversary celebrations was a star-studded event attended by prominent faces of the country’s entertainment landscape and dignitaries including DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Zulfi Bukhari, Adnan Siddiqui, Bushra Ansari, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Farhan Saeed, Sarah Khan, Vaneeza Ahmed, Momina Duraid, Usman Mukhtar, Sultana Siddiqui President HUM Network Limited and CEO HUM Network Duraid Qureshi.
While everyone enjoyed watching their favourite stars take the stage, it was DG ISPR and SAPM Zulfi Bukhari who Twitter couldn’t stop talking about.
Danish Taimoor has penned a heartfelt note for Ayeza Khan on her 30th birthday.
Sharing a picture of the two from Ayeza’s birthday celebrations, Danish wrote: “I cannot imagine a single second of my life without this woman, and the beautiful family she has provided me with.”
“I can’t thank you enough for the amount of peace and love you have brought to my world,” he continued. “I hope we continue to grow like this and be with each other till the very last breath of our lives.”
The actor also thanked her fans and friends for their sweet wishes.
“You guys brought me so much joy on my special day,” said Ayeza in a social media post. “The amount of love I received last night is inexpressible for me.”
Saboor Aly has expressed that she is a “proud sister” after Sajal Aly bagged a role in Jemima Goldsmith’s upcoming production What Love Got to do with It?. Sajal will be sharing the screen with Emma Thompson, Lily James, Shabana Azmi, and Shazad Latif in the upcoming film directed by Shekhar Kapur.
Sharing the news on Instagram, Saboor congratulated her sister, writing: “Proud sister. Your hard work paid off. We believe that sky is your limit, so go out and spread your wings and soar high.”
Meanwhile, Sajal’s colleagues and other Pakistani celebrities including Humayun Saeed, Mahira Khan, Bilal Abbas Khan, Ali Rehman Khan, Zara Noor Abbas and Yasir Hussain celebrated Sajal’s big achievement and congratulated the actor on achieving the milestone.
Humayun and Mahira said that this was a very proud moment for them.

Jemima also shared that her and Prime Minister Imran Khan’s sons Qasim and Suleman are ecstatic that musician Asim C has agreed to be part of the film.

Written and produced under Goldsmith’s production house, Instinct Productions, What’s Love got to do with It? is set between London and South Asia and will explore cross-cultural conflicts of love and marriage.
A release date for the film has not yet been announced.
Meanwhile, Shadab Khan and Azam Khan were concerned about Asim’s revelation, with Shadab asking if “this batsman is available for PSL” and Khan asking Azhar to stop stealing his job.
However, Azhar Ali gave Asim’s batting a thumbs up.
While some followers congratulated the actor for his feat, others felt he was showing off. However, Abbas was quick to respond to them telling them that he was proud to represent his country internationally. However, he later turned off the comments section of his post.
Zayn Malik has surprised fans with a song in his new album Nobody Is Listening which features Muhammad Rafi’s Chaudhvi Ka Chand.
The track titled Tightrope has been creating quite a buzz on social media and has struck a chord with Bollywood music lovers. Zayn can be heard crooning the chorus, adding a new flavour to the song. The British-Pakistani singer has often discussed his fondness for Bollywood music and films in several interviews.
Meanwhile, the 11-track album has elements of pop in it, while being laidback at the same time.
Earlier, before releasing his new album, the singer-songwriter casually dropped his phone number on social media to hype fans up for the launch date and give a preview of his new music.
This is not the first time that Zayn has sung a Bollywood track. A few years ago, Zayn had released covers of Allah Ke Bande and Allah Duhai Hai.
As Mohabbat Tujhe Alvida comes to an end with the tragic death of Ulfat, the main leads of the drama have some deadly ideas for a second season.
Mansha Pasha, who played Shafaq in the drama, said: “[In] Season 2, Ulfat comes back as a ghost and she and Shafaq are still fighting on Shahaan.”
On the other hand, Sonya Hussyn, who played Ulfat said; “Season: 2 Ulfat, Shafaq k kehnay pe Shahan ko chamatay kara rahi hai or Shahan soch soch k pagal hogya k akhir par kahan sy rahi hain. Wahh oneliner soch k hi maza aagya.”
Meanwhile, Zahid Ahmed, who played Shahaan, said: “Please kill me in the first episode of season 2.”
Mohabbat Tujhe Alvida’s plotline revolved around a love triangle. Audiences had compared the drama to Anil Kapoor and Sri Devi’s Judai, but Mansha clarified that the story is inspired by the Sindhi folk tale Lilan Chanesar.
Meanwhile, promising to meet again, Sonya bid goodbye to her character in a social media post.
Mehwish Hayat has revealed that Courage the Cowrdly Dog is her all-time favourite cartoon.
“One of my all time faves,” said Mehwish in an Instagram story. “If anything…Courage The Cowardly Dog taught me that no matter how scary things may get, never be afraid to face them and everything will turn out fine in the end.”
Courage the Cowardly Dog is an American animated horror comedy television series created by John R Dilworth for Cartoon Network. The show ran from 1999 – 2002.
Mehwish, who recently turned 33, believes that society should not dictate the way we want to lead our life.

Engin Altan Düzyatan’s Pakistani host Kashif Zameer is in hot waters once again for imposing false allegations on Shaan Shahid.
As per details, Zameer posted a picture with the actor and alleged that Shaan had asked him whether foreign stars should be preferred over local artists.
In a social media post, Zameer wrote: “Last night, Pakistani superstar Shaan Bhai asked me whether it’s okay to employ foreign stars as brand ambassadors for our local brands instead of our artists. What should have my reply to that?”
In response, Shaan quickly denied the allegations, commenting: “Brother that’s not correct. I didn’t ask you anything like that. You requested to take a picture with me and I agreed to it because of Shafqat Cheema Sahab.”

Sajal Aly is all set to share the screen with top Hollywood stars in Jemima Goldsmith’s upcoming project What’s Love Got To Do With It?.
According to reports, the Mom actress will essay a groundbreaking role in Goldsmith’s production, for which she is currently shooting in London. The news was confirmed by BBC Asian Network journalist Haroon Rashid.
Besides Aly, the film will also feature Emma Thompson, Lily James and Shazad Latif in key roles.
As per details, the film will be directed by Shekhar Kapur of Mr India and Dil Se fame and produced by Goldsmith under the banner of her production house Instinct Productions. The film has been written by Jemima herself and is set between London and South Asia, exploring cross-cultural conflicts of love and marriage.
A release date is not yet been announced.
Meanwhile, Sajal’s fellow colleagues congratulated her for the achievement.
