    Celebs express anger at Talha Talib being conned

    Pakistani weightlifter and Olympian, Talha Talib, was conned by a fraudster who posed as a personal assistant to a federal minister and said that the minister wants to gift him a car after his success at the Tokyo Olympics 2020.

    The conman asked him to receive the vehicle after submitting registration and freight charges in a particular bank account.

    As per reports, Talha Talib was asked to pay Rs323,000. After the sportsman’s father came to know about the fraud, he reported the crime at the Citizen’s Portal.

    Celebrities including Aijaz Aslam, Xarnish Khan and Mathira expressed their anger at how people took advantage of an already struggling sportsman.

    It was not just Talha who was conned but mountaineer Shehroze Kashif was also reportedly looted by a conman.

    Shehroze Kashif’s father says the conman asked them to make a payment of Rs285,000. Kashif’s father lodged a complaint with the FIA.

    Mexican rapper Dan Sur has adopted a new look by getting the chain hooks surgically embedded into his scalp, the New York Post reported.

    The 23-year-old rapper “wanted to do something different”. He underwent the surgery back in April and since then he flaunts his ‘golden hair’ to his social media followers.

    “The truth is that I wanted to do something different because I see that everyone dyes their hair. I hope not everyone copies me now,” he said in one of his TikTok videos.

    “This is my hair. Golden hair. The first rapper to have gold hair implanted in human history,” he added.

    The rapper has also got a matching gold grill recently.

    The video shows the dog running on the field with its black leash trailing behind it. When the wicket-keeper tried to hit the stumps and missed, the dog hurriedly snapped up the ball and began running away, as players tried to chase it down.

    The dog finally stopped running after a player calmed it down and retrieved the ball so the match could resume.

  • Rescue operation starts for three mountaineers stranded on Rakaposhi

    Helicopters sent to rescue three mountaineers stranded on the Rakaposhi mountain of the Karakoram mountain range arrived in Hunza on Sunday and an operation to bring them back is underway, Geo News reported.

    As per reports, the three mountaineers include a Pakistani climber Wajidullah Nagri and Czech Republic mountaineers Jakub Vicek and Peter Macek.

    According to Deputy Commissioner Nagar Zulqarnain Khan, two helicopters arrived in Nagar for rescue operations. He said that the rescue team is in contact with the climbers, who are doing fine.

    The DC added that it will be difficult for a helicopter to go up to a height of 6,900 metres, where the climbers had been stuck, so they have been asked to descend.

    Rescue efforts on the ground are also underway, he said.

    The three mountaineers, two of whom belong to the Czech Republic, had summitted Rakaposhi on September 8, according to the Karakoram Club.

    A tweet by Pamir Times at 7pm on Sunday stated that the rescue operation was put off for the day due to bad weather and will resume today (Monday).

    A horse, who happens to be standing right beside her, keeps munching the chips in delight from her plate.

    Each time the horse bends his neck, he takes a snack from the plate and ends up smiling after each bite. Everyone present at the scene can be heard roaring with laughter when they see the horse smile.

    The person making the video happens to be the woman’s son and can be heard saying, “Oh he likes mom’s chips.”

    Later, two dogs appear in the video and look intrigued by the happenings and the laughter. They too begin to eat the pieces that dropped from the animal’s mouth.

    A six-year-old girl child was raped and then murdered in Punjab’s Chiniot, Samaa News reported

    According to the victim’s family, the child was abducted on her way to her grandmother’s house. “After looking for her for almost 12 hours, we found her body from the nearby fields,” her father told the police.

    The post-mortem report of the child has confirmed the rape.

    An FIR has been filed against unidentified men under sections of rape and murder.

    The police have arrested a number of suspects and have sent their DNA samples to the laboratory. “We have begun questioning people in the neighbourhood as well,” the investigation officer said.

    Earlier, a girl in Gujrat died after three men allegedly kidnapped and gang-raped her.

    Three men abducted a girl from Chak Ghazi in Gujrat district on September 1. The accused gave a tranquilliser to the girl and then raped her, leaving the victim in a critical condition.
