Indian anti-minority lawyer targets a Pakistani over fake allegations

A lawyer of the Supreme Court of India, Vineet Jindal, has filed a complaint against Pakistani cricket presenter Zainab Abbas over alleged old ‘Anti-Hindu’ tweets which have gone viral on X (formally Twitter).

Zainab Abbas is currently in India as a presenter of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.

According to Vineet Jindal, the anti-Hindu tweets were posted approximately 9 years ago by the user name Zainablovesrk which is now changed to ZAbbas Official, the currently used X account of Zainab Abbas.

Remember that ICC (International Cricket Council) picked Zainab Abbas as the Presenter of the ICC Cricket World Cup. She is now promoting “Cultural Similarities” between Pakistan and India, while on the other hand, she is facing this type of propaganda.

  • Was there a five-ball over during the match between Pakistan and Netherlands?

Was there a five-ball over during the match between Pakistan and Netherlands?

Pakistan defeated the Netherlands by 81 runs in the second match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 on Friday.

However, the match was unique because during the first innings, when the Pakistan team was batting, an umpiring error allowed a five balls over. This happened during the 14th over when Saud Shakeel scored a boundary and completed his fifty runs on the second last ball of the over. Then both standing umpires ended the over.

The laws on Lord’s official website state that clause 17.5 of THE OVER, SCORING RUNS, DEAD BALL AND EXTRAS deals with the umpires’ miscounting, and explains that any revisions are not possible after a ball is bowled.

Clause 17.5.1 states, “If the umpire miscounts the number of valid balls, the over as counted by the umpire shall stand.”

Another mistake was made by umpires in the 8th over of the innings when an extra fielder was set outside the circle. Muhammad Rizwan signaled to the umpire and the ball was given a free hit.

This is not the first time a miscalculated over has been bowled in cricket history. During the match between Pakistan and India in the Women’s T20 World Cup, India was given an over with seven balls.

VIDEO: BJP sends women to England-New Zealand match, allegedly telling them it’s a Pak-India match

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) landed itself in a hilarious predicament when on Thursday, in a bid to fill empty stadiums, it fraudulently gave tickets for the England-New Zealand while telling them they were for the Pakistan-India match.

Outside the Narendra Modi Stadium where England faced off with New Zealand in the first match of the ICC World Cup, the women told media that they had been given tickets by the BJP, adding that they had been promised food inside the stadium as well.

One woman told a journalist that they were at the stadium, “to watch the Pakistan -India match.” Upon being told that the match was between England and New Zealand, the woman said, “We were told it’s Pakistan Vs India, that’s why we were sent here.”

ICC World Cup 2023: Still no Indian visa for Pakistani journalists

The ICC Cricket World Cup has started today, but Indian authorities are yet to issue visas for Pakistani journalists. Indian visas are only issued for Pakistan Cricket team. Ramiz Raja and Zainab Abbas, who are joining as commentators, have been issued visas.

This will be the first World Cup since 1975 in which no Pakistani journalist will be present in the press gallery.

India has not yet issued a visa to any Pakistani journalist, while some Pakistani people who are associated with the ICC (International Cricket Council) have also not been issued visas. Pakistanis working in British media organizations are also not getting visas. It seems that until the Pakistan-India match on the 14th, Pakistani journalists will not get visas.

  • Why is India hosting the World Cup with empty stadiums?

Why is India hosting the World Cup with empty stadiums?

Social media users are questioning the decision by the ICC to let India host the World Cup when there is no opening ceremony and barely any spectators in the first match.

Interestingly, when the Asia Cup was being partially hosted by Pakistan, some Indians criticized the ‘empty stadium’ in Multan. Now, the tables have turned, India is the host, the first match is between New Zealand and England, finalists of the last World Cup, and the stadium is empty. There was no opening ceremony for ICC World Cup 2023 and honestly, we can’t see spectators either.

This one’s hilarious, to be honest, does this remind you of Asif Zardari too?
