Pakistan off-spinner Sajid Khan has revealed that he fooled England’s bowlers with false messages in Urdu.
Mostly, he confuses them with his spin angles and flighted deliveries. But on Friday, he used another tactic: speaking Urdu to confuse the English bowlers Shoaib Bashir and Rehan Ahmed, who understand the language.
After the fourth ball of the 86th over, Saud Shakeel turned the strike over to Sajid. They discussed their strategy loudly in Urdu, not caring if the stump mic picked it up. Sajid was supposed to play out the last two balls, but instead, he charged down the pitch and hit Shoaib Bashir over midwicket for a six.
Sajid later explained, saying, “We speak loudly in Urdu to deceive Rehan Ahmed and Shoaib Bashir, who understand the language. We wanted the bowlers to think we were only looking for a single, which made them bring the field up and fly the ball. Saud then told me to go for big shots.”
Sajid followed the plan, hitting two sixes and a boundary in the next over, scoring 19 runs off it. Even though Rehan kept him quieter later, Sajid still managed to clear the boundary comfortably. By this time, England’s bowling effort was falling apart, and Pakistan’s lead was growing.
Rehan acknowledged Sajid’s good batting but dismissed his claims of fooling them. He laughed, saying, “He didn’t fool me at all; he just said it for the media. I didn’t even hear him. I knew he was going to try and scoop me, but it didn’t really work. He batted well and hit some big shots, but he didn’t fool me or Bash.”
Sajid scored 48 runs in the second innings of the second Test, hitting 4 sixes and two boundaries.
BYD, a leading electric vehicle (EV) company, has introduced its new models, the Seal and Atto 3, in Pakistan, according to PakWheels.
In Pakistan, the BYD Seal’s Dynamic model is priced at Rs14.79 million (ex-showroom), while the BYD Atto 3 Advance model is available at Rs8.9 million.
The BYD Seal comes with a powerful 82.56 kWh battery, providing an impressive range of up to 650 km. The car also uses BYD’s signature Blade Battery, which powers the four-wheel-drive version to go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds.
For added convenience, the Seal’s high-speed charging allows it to go from 30 per cent to 80 per cent charge in about 30 minutes. The performance variant of the Seal can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds, according to BYD’s official website.
The BYD Atto 3 comes with a 49.92 kWh battery and has a range of 410 km. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds and also includes the Blade Battery, allowing it to charge from 30 per cent to 80 per cent in half an hour.
Last year, BYD sold over 412,000 units of the Yuan Plus EV – known as the Atto 3 in global markets – with around 100,000 of these being exported. This means the Atto 3 made up 42 per cent of BYD’s total car exports last year.

A number of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers, including at least three lawmakers from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), escaped police custody when unknown assailants attacked prisoner vans in Islamabad.
As per the details, unknown gunmen opened fire on three prisoner vans near the Sangjani Toll Plaza in Islamabad as police were transferring 187 accused to Attock jail following their court appearance in the D-Chowk Protests case against the PTI.
Three KP lawmakers, namely Anwar Zaib, Liaquat and Yasir Qureshi, as well as KP government employees among others fled during the attack, police said.
According to the police, it seemed like an ambush as the armed men had already taken position before the arrival of the vans at the toll plaza. The attackers burst tyres of the vans and later opened fire on the cops, leaving several policemen wounded who were swiftly shifted to the hospital.
In conversation with a private media outlet, Islamabad Inspector General (IG) Ali Nasir Rizvi said that the escaped prisoners had been recaptured.
He confirmed that the fleeing inmates also included three MPAs who had also been taken into custody again.
The Islamabad police chief claimed that four out of the 18-20 attackers, including an MPA’s son, a policeman, and two other individuals, were also apprehended by security officials.

Mike Tyson Net Worth 2024
Mike Tyson net worth as of 2024 is standing at $10 million. He has built a successful career in his life. However, those fortunes were ruined due to a combination of lawsuits and extravagant purchases such as opulent mansions and expensive cars.
For example, a reporter from The Sun says that his fighting career is estimated to have earned him about 500 million dollars or more. However, his net worth is modest. It is primarily due to his excessive spending and ostentatious lifestyle at the height of his career.
Early Career
Tyson had some pretty rough times in his initial years. This young man, who came into this world in 1966, was raised in poverty. Residing in a ghetto environment, Tyson often found himself in trouble, primarily for picking fights with kids or resorting to thefts. His life started turning for the worse very early on. Moreover, Tyson had been arrested dozens of times and placed in detention centers many times over. While in the detention center, Tyson’s talent was discovered by an ex-boxer and a counselor. He sent the young criminal to boxing manager Cus D’Amato, who helped him train.
D’Amato took Tyson under his wing earlier and later took over his guardianship after Mike’s mother died. Although not many children could do this, Mike trained vigorously every day. Tyson had a great start in his professional career. He competed against accomplished boxers, such as Joe Cortez, Kelton Brown, and Jonathan Littles, for training. In 1981 and 1982, Mike Tyson participated in the Junior Olympics games and returned to winning gold medals.

Professional Boxing Career
When he was 18, Mike Tyson played his first professional boxing match. Tyson won the game against Hector Mercedes after recording a first-round TKO. During the first year of being a professional boxer, Tyson achieved 26 victories by KO, including 16 in the first round. As such, Tyson earned the status of a formidable boxer. He climbed to the top position amongst the most active boxers of the period within a short period.
Everything about Mike Tyson came with great speed and intensity. For example, in 1986, he knocked out Trevor Berbick to become the heavyweight champion. And he became the youngest to capture the title. Tyson quickly went through 37 fights undefeated and suffered his first loss to Buster Douglas in 1990. Scandals might mark Tyson’s career. But his contentious record was reasonably indisputable, as he earned millions for each fight.
At one point, this narrative dominated Tyson’s net worth with claims above $400 million. This made him among the wealthiest heavyweight boxers. Mike Tyson was known to have earned the large sum of $400 million for his salary alone. It meant he had no endorsement deals that he claimed were unnecessary for heavyweight boxers.
In 2010, Mike Tyson was facing financial issues. He could not even pay his bills. As per a report in ABC News, the former heavyweight champion said, “I’m flat broke. I had a lot of fun.” Still, the past decade has been very prosperous for Mike Tyson, bringing his net worth back to $10 million. This renewed growth of fortune has contributed to several strategic businesses, such as paid appearances, placements in movies and television, and even a few exhibition fights that saw the legend returning to the ring.
Mike Tyson Future
While Mike Tyson has spread out the hundreds of millions of dollars he once earned, it remains unclear how the iconic American boxer Tyson has managed to maintain a net worth of around $10 million. However, the current situation of boxers seems to be better. He has proven without a doubt once again that TPS helped him generate sufficient wealth all by himself through sheer hard work and good decision-making. Though Mike Tyson’s fans are excited to see him fight Jake Paul in an upcoming exhibition this fall, some fans seem to love him more as a media figure. Mike Tyson’s plans are challenging to predict, given his numerous endeavors. But one thing is sure: they will be in the millions.
Traders on the floor of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) rode on a wave of joy today as they witnessed the market break yet another record.
During day trading, the KSE-100 index crossed the 90,000 mark for the first time ever, and it stayed that way until the trading day was about to close.
At the end of the trading day, however, KSE-100, the benchmark of the PSX that includes the top 100 companies, settled at a respectable 89,993.96 points. This is a huge leap of 1,047.98 points, which translates into a 1.16 per cent increase from when the market opened.
The ALLSHR (All Share) Index, which tracks the performance of all companies listed on the PSX, did really well, too. ALLSHR gained 495.83 points throughout the day, which is 0.86 per cent from the time it opened, to close at an impressive 57,461.53 points.
While all indexes were in the green, the KSE-30 index, which focuses on the top 30 companies listed on the exchange, performed the best by closing at a remarkable 28,395.15 points. KSE-30 had gone up by 352.45 points at closing time, which is a massive 1.24 per cent increase in the index value.
The driving factor behind this bullish trend is a rise in investor confidence. Investors in the market are making large gains due to the hot streak PSX has been for a while now.
This enthusiasm has attracted foreign investors, as the percentage of all shares held by foreign investors jumped from 14.49 per cent at the start of the month to 15.22 per cent currently.
It’s a great time for the market and a great opportunity for those looking to invest in Pakistan’s financial future. Can the bullish trend continue? It certainly is possible, but only time will tell.

Ramesh Bishnoi said, “If we needed money, we would have accepted Salman Khan’s offer.” He explained, “Emotional turmoil within the Lawrence Bishnoi community by saying that when the blackbuck incident occurred, the community was boiling with anger.”

Actress Zara Noor Abbas is confidently standing up to online critics and we are here for her.
Recently, she attended an event dressed in a colorful, bohemian style. She posted pictures showing her no makeup look, looking relaxed and comfortable.
Despite her confident look, trolls criticized her appearance online.
Here’s how she was trolled:
Zara Noor Abbas didn’t hold back in responding to them. She said, “I will do what I love and won’t be trapped in the traditional roles set by society.”
Business owners in Punjab are preparing for tough times ahead as the provincial government of Punjab missed the budget surplus goal set by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for this quarter by a staggering 182 billion rupees. Not meeting the IMF stipulated objectives might foster bad will as international lenders will be weary of extending loans to Pakistan in the future.
Suppose lawmakers in Islamabad direct Punjab’s provincial government to meet the budget surplus goal at any cost. In that case, it will likely spell bad news for the businesses and people that call it home. This is because a budget surplus can be increased via either reducing government expenditure or levying higher taxes: Neither of which are optimal.
While customs duties and corporate taxes remain under Islamabad’s control, the provincial government in Punjab has the authority to raise service and property taxes. This is likely to happen as the surplus goal for this quarter was missed by a margin of an uneasy 53%.
According to Punjab’s Housing, Urban Development, and Public Health Engineering Department (HUDPHED), there were 1,680 approved construction companies in 2022, with many more operating unofficially without approval. If property taxes rise, the construction companies are expected to suffer as their clients will be stuck paying the higher taxes leaving less money for the owners of the companies.
Moreover, an increase in services tax will cause businesses to lose out on either profits or customers. This is because businesses will have to make the tough decision of either absorbing the higher sales tax while holding prices constant or passing on the tax to their customers in the form of higher prices – which might turn customers away.
If the government of Punjab decides to raise the surplus by decreasing its expenditures on projects, this will be bad news, too.
This is because businesses that rely on public contracts will suddenly not be able to secure new contracts. And with the provincial government tightening its metaphorical belt, the employees of these businesses will be pushed to do the same too.
This is because the loss of contracts might cause businesses to lay their employees off. The result of this decision can only be negative as laid-off workers will think twice before spending money, which will translate into a loss of sales for local businesses.
While experts believe that following the conditions of the IMF is necessary, this discipline might stir up some issues for businesses. For now, all eyes are on the government of Punjab, and only time will tell what is to happen next.
Young English spinners Rehan Ahmed and Shoaib Bashir have expressed their heartfelt thanks to the England cricket team.
They also thanked the Pakistan cricket team for inviting them to a memorable cultural and spiritual experience by participating in Friday prayers during the current Test series.
In a gesture of friendship and respect, the Pakistan squad welcomed the two England players of Pakistani descent to join their prayer gathering, creating a unique bond between the two teams beyond the cricket field.
In an interview with BBC Sports, Rehan Ahmed thanked his team for allowing them to practice in Friday prayer. He mentioned, “We performed the Friday prayer with the Pakistan team. We went to their hotel, and Rizwan led the prayer. A week earlier, we went to the mosque. The England team rescheduled a meeting by two hours to ensure we could pray and then return.”
“As young cricketers joining the team, this has never been questioned. It’s something we appreciate greatly. The players understand us; McCullum, Stokes, and the management have always prioritized our prayers and whatever needs to be done first, then cricket comes later. We couldn’t ask for more. We are forever grateful for this”, he added.
Shoaib Bashir said, “This is an excellent gesture by the England team. We are allowed to practice individually, which is important. This is what brings out the best in us and gives us confidence going into games. People’s perspectives have changed now. After these events, there has been a positive development. Let’s hope it continues.”
Currently, Rehan and Shoaib are representing England in the third Test match in Rawalpindi.
