Famous for wearing his all white Adidas boots and for his insane passing accuracy, Kroos is regarded by many as the greatest midfield general in the history of Football. What if we tell you there are numerous petitions online to have Kroos conduct a masterclass on consistency and discipline? No self-help book can teach you about consistency as much as Toni Kroos can. Why? Because throughout his career, which includes playing for Germany, Munich and Madrid – Kroos maintained a successful passing rate of 90%+. Now this is nothing short of a miracle. This just doesn’t happen by chance.

    Kroos will retire from international football after UEFA Euro 2024 this summer. Even though he had an emotional farewell staged for him last week at Real Madrid, Kroos is sniper focused on winning the champions league with Madrid when they take on Dortmund this weekend; and then helping his national side to clinch the EUROs for the 4th time.

    Know the story behind the viral post ‘All eyes on Rafah’

    An artificial intelligence (AI) post showing many tented camps with the inscription ‘All Eyes on Rafah’ in the middle has gone viral on Instagram.

    The photo was posted as a story template by shahv4012, a user from Malaysia, which has since gone viral. The image was posted on May 28 and has since been shared by more than 38 million Instagram users.

    It was shared on Instagram by many celebrities including Bollywood and Hollywood stars to highlight the seriousness of Rafah’s situation.

    What does it mean?

    The Malaysian user posted the photo to draw the world’s attention to the massacre in Rafah following an Israeli attack on a refugee camp on May 27.

    The attack was carried out in a safe zone. Many people including, women and children, were martyred and injured in this attack. Videos flooded social media sites, showing children beheaded and refugees burnt alive.

    The purpose of the post is not only to focus the world’s attention on the situation in Gaza but also to show support for the Palestinian cause. The more people share this photo, the more eyes will be able to see the genocide in Gaza.

    The slogan “All eyes on Rafah” was probably taken from a statement by Dr.Rik Peeperkorn, director of the World Health Organization (WHO) office in the Palestinian region.

    In February, the Israeli Prime Minister instructed the Palestinians to withdraw from Rafah, after which Rik Peeperkorn said in a statement that all eyes are on Rafah.

    Host and stand – up comedian Tabish Hashmi is one of our favourite people on screen but did you know that until very recently, his family was living in India?

    The star host was invited as a guest on Hafiz Ahmed’s Podcast where he detailed the difficulties his family faced when they shifted to Pakistan from India in 1984.

    “My father moved to Pakistan in 1984, leaving behind a comfortable life in India where he had a good job. His brothers, who were already settled in Pakistan, encouraged him to make the move. It was my grandmother’s illness that finally prompted him to take the leap. While my father’s sacrifice was significant, as he gave up his job, it was my mother who made the ultimate sacrifice, leaving behind her entire family to join my father in Pakistan. My elder sisters were born in India, and I was born in Pakistan.”

    Talking about how his father became a citizen of Pakistan, he said, “At that time, it was relatively easy to settle in Pakistan by showing investment in the form of dollars or money. Fortunately, my father had the necessary funds, so we were able to obtain Pakistani nationality.”

    Well, we are glad that Tabish’s family made the move. Or else we would have been deprived of one of our brightest stars.

    Protestors set fire to Israeli Embassy in Mexico City

    Videos of enraged protestors setting fire to the Israeli embassy in Mexico City have emerged online.


    The protest was a reaction to the massacre carried out by Israel in Rafah where displaced people’s tents were burnt down, leaving at least 45 refugees dead and hundreds injured.


    In the capital of Mexico, Mexico City, about 200 people gathered outside the embassy in a demonstration called “Urgent Action for Rafah”. Protesters covered their faces and threw stones at the police blocking their path to the Israeli Embassy.

    Missing Kashmiri poet Ahmad Farhad meets family

    After the Islamabad High Court (IHC) was informed about the whereabouts of missing Kashmiri poet Ahmad Farhad, his family met him at a police station in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) on Wednesday.

    Earlier, the Attorney General of Pakistan (AGP), Mansoor Usman Awan, told the Islamabad High Court (IHC) that Kasmiri poet Ahmad Farhad had been found in the custody of Azad Jammu and Kashmir police.

    Farhad’s wife Urooj Zainab requested the IHC  to identify, investigate, and prosecute those responsible for her husband’s disappearance.

    Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani heard the petition filed by Urooj Zainab, while human rights lawyer Imaan Mazari is Zainab’s counsel in the case.

    A report by the DhirKot Kashmir police station was also presented before the court.

    During a hearing held on May 21, the AGP assured the court of efforts on the safe recovery of the missing poet.

    “[We] will do whatever it takes. [We] will rescue and recover [Farhad],” the AGP said while addressing the IHC judge and taking the responsibility to look into the matter.

    However, Justice Kayani directed the AGP to make sure that “no one gets picked up from Islamabad.”

    Crackdown begins on anti-state content on social media

    A crackdown has been launched against people sharing anti-state content on social media. So far, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested two suspects from Rawalpindi.

    The FIA inquiry is aimed at people involved in propaganda against Pakistan’s military institutions and important personalities.

    FIA teams conducted raids at various locations in Rawalpindi and arrested two suspects, stating that the accused were involved in spreading fabricated and fake news against the armed forces.

    Among the arrested suspects are Yasir Arafat and Irfan Abbas who were taken into custody from Rawat and Gujar Khan areas.

    NAB raids Bahria Town office Rawalpindi

    A team of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has raided Bahria Town’s Rawalpindi office on Tuesday, initiating an investigation into irregularities in the property conglomerate.

    SAMAA TV reported that an investigation has been initiated on Bahria Enclave land, and the land, which was given by the Capital Development Authority (CDA) for a zoo, is now under inspection. The anti-graft watchdog team raided the Bahria Town office in Rawalpindi to take records into custody.

    Informed sources told SAMAA that the NAB team stayed at the Bahria Town office for more than two hours, confiscating crucial data, including files of multiple housing projects and other important records.

    During the raid, the anti-graft watchdog team retrieved digital evidence and data from computers.

    Police officials and elite personnel were also with the NAB team during the raid.

    The NAB team will investigate the land of Bahria Enclave and wrongdoings in the attainment of all the lands of Bahria Town.

    Zara Noor said, “Becoming a mother has completely eliminated my anger. Now, I value time and get my things done before time. Motherhood has also made me more empathetic towards others, especially fellow mothers, and I’ve become more loving and compassionate.”


    Talking about parenting she said, “Parenting is a learning process, and my goal is to raise my daughter to be a good person and a responsible citizen. Instead of pressuring her to excel academically, I’ll focus on nurturing her kindness and empathy, helping her grow into a caring and understanding individual.”

    ASP Shehar Bano has been appointed as the personal security officer of Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.


    Naqvi will perform duties as PSO of Mohsin Naqvi, says the notification issued by the Ministry of Interior.


    She was previously working as Assistant Director of the Intelligence Bureau.


    In February 2024, Shahar Bano Naqvi came to the limelight by saving a woman from an angry mob in Lahore for which she garnered praise from public and governmental quarters.


    Shehar Bano Naqvi joined the police service after clearing the CSS exam in 2019.

    Pakistan bus crash kills at least 27 people: hospital

    Quetta, Pakistan – At least 27 people were killed on Wednesday when a bus plunged off the road into a deep ravine in southwestern Pakistan, hospital and government officials said.

    The crash happened around dawn in Basima town in Balochistan province while the bus was travelling from Turbat city to Quetta.

    “The driver was navigating a turn in a mountainous area when the vehicle lost control and fell into a ravine,” Ismail Mengal, a local government official said, giving a toll of 27 dead.

    “We are still investigating the cause of the incident. It could be that the driver fell asleep or was speeding, which led to the accident.”

    More than 25 others, including the driver, were injured.

    Noor Ullah, chief doctor at Civil Hospital Basima, told AFP that 27 bodies were taken there, including three women and two children.

    Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has “expressed deep sorrow and grief over the tragic traffic accident”, his office said in a statement.

    Road accidents with high fatalities are common in Pakistan, where safety measures are lax, driver training is poor and transport infrastructure often decrepit.

    At least 17 pilgrims were killed and 41 injured in a crash in April as they travelled to a shrine in Balochistan’s Hub district.

    In January last year, 41 people were killed when their bus, which was also loaded with containers of flammable oil, careered off the road into a valley and burst into flames.
