Actor Sadia Khan ringed in the New Year’s Eve with Aryan Khan at a party in Dubai. The Khuda Aur Mohabbat star posted a picture with Aryan on her Instagram handle which sparked dating rumours. Even Indian film critic Kamaal Rashid Khan claimed that Sadia and Aryan are in a relationship.
Now Sadia in an interview with City Times has rubbished all the rumours, “It is very strange how people are making up stories about myself and Aryan without knowing the full picture. There needs to be a limit to all that goes around in the name of news.”
The actress also added, “This doesn’t mean that we are dating. I am not the only one who took a picture with Aryan either; there were a few other people who clicked pictures, and they also uploaded them, but somehow I am the one whose picture is floating around.”
Sadia Khan also went on to say a few words in praise of Aryan Khan, as she said, “I would say that Aryan is a very sweet and an extremely well-mannered boy. So, please stop all these baseless rumours about us. Love and respect.”
She also took to her Instagram handle to shut down the rumours.
Actor Momal Sheikh recently made an appearance on The Talk Talk Show hosted by Hassan Choudary, where she shared her thoughts on Behroze Sabzwari’s claim that ladies shouldn’t wear tight clothing while traveling on bikes.
The Daraar star said, “it is his point of view, maybe it was something he observed while he was coming to the interview and he expressed his thoughts, Maybe it was something that stuck in his mind and he wanted to talk about it, whenever we come to the show we don’t talk the scripted things, we speak our heart out, so I can give him the benefit of doubt, maybe it was something disturbing him, hence he said it, so people should move on and let it go, and if anything needs to be requested, it should come from Behroze Sabzwari rather than me.”
On being asked about the public’s perception of her clothing, Sheikh replied she couldn’t influence anyone’s opinions or change their minds, so she should just let it be and do whatever she wanted. In the end, the public makes you famous.
Last year she stated in another interview that she is not afraid of her father (Javed Sheikh) but she is scared of her brother Shahzad Sheikh.
“I’m not scared of my father but I am scared of Shahzad,” said Momal while talking to Momina on her show Momina Mixed Plate.
She said that he is a little bossy and asks questions. “Even coming to this field, he said that tumhara kya kaam hai? Tum ne kyun karna hai?“

Last year the Happy Bhaag Jayegi diva appreciated her cousin Shahroz Sabzwari and Syra Yousuf for handling social media scrutiny post their split, “The way Shahroz and Saira handled all the criticism was the best thing and that’s the way it should be. People always talk about something, they used to talk before and they will continue to talk no matter what.”
“My personal statement on their separation is that they are two individual and mature adults, they know what is good for them. Saira and Shahroz are two beautiful and kind hearted people”, she added.
Actor Shaan Shahid while promoting his forthcoming film, Zarrar chatted over his career, controversies, and colleagues, exclusively with The Current.
On being asked about why he rejected the Bollywood film Ghajini starring Aamir Khan and Asin, Shaan said, “There are some differences between the two nations (India and Pakistan), so picking up a villain from Pakistan puts more pressure and limelight on that relationship. Unko Villain sirf yahan pe nazar aatay hain or heroes sirf wahan pe. (They only see villains in Pakistan and heroes in India.)
The veteran actor added, “Also, the geopolitical system, Both India and Pakistan have a lot of baggage of the past and in the present as well. I think whatever is happening in India with Muslims is heartbreaking. I believe as a person you start creating an opinion and you have a set of rules or morals or values that you would rather put before making a financial decision.”

The Khuda Kay Liye star excitedly revealed that he finds Mahira to be very good and would want her as one of the heroines, whereas he wants to rope in Mehwish Hayat as his other leading lady as he finds her to be stunning as well.
On being quipped further, Shahid mentioned that he would like to see Mahira essaying Saima Khan’s character of a courtesan and Mehwish in Madiha Shah’s role.
Film’s synopsis
Zil-e-Shah (Shaan), an unhappily married man who belongs to the Syed clan, falls in love with a courtesan, by the name of Taari (Saima) who arrives to perform in his village. His wife (Madiha Shah) and family condemn their relationship.

On being asked by the host Uzair Anwer that if a biopic gets made on him, which young actor would he want to essay him in the film? The veteran artist was given four options (Hamza Ali Abbasi, Ahad Raza Mir, Bilal Abbas, and Imran Ashraf).

The Majajan hero wasn’t too excited about these younger actors playing him in his biopic. He In fact hinted that it should be Shaan himself who should feature in a film based on him.
Shaan stated, “I think if they would have cast Sanjay Dutt in Sanju (2018), it would have been better. I personally feel that a biopic should be made on an actor when he passes away.”
He added, “Jesa bhi kaam kartay hain, they are all good actors, and they’ll approach the character according to their own set of skills.”
Shahid concluded by saying, “Its a difficult question and I haven’t yet given it a thought.”
On the occasion of late actor Irrfan Khan’s birthday, his son Babil Khan revealed how he dealt with his father’s death.
During the promotion of his debut project Qala, Babil shared the difficult phase of his life i.e. his father’s death. He added: “When it first happened, the first day, I didn’t believe it. One week had passed and it hit then. And then I just went into a really bad spiral. I just locked myself in my room for one and a half months.”
“Back then he used to shoot so much that he’d be gone for a long shooting schedule. When it just happened, I had somehow convinced myself that he’ll come back after the shooting schedule. And then I slowly started realizing that this is an indefinite shooting schedule. He’s not coming back. I just lost my best friend. It was devastating on a level that I can’t really put into words.”
Khan says that now he feels positive whenever he remembers his late father.
On the work front, Babil Khan just made his acting debut with the Netflix film Qala. He further has a web series coming his way by the name The Railway Men. Pakistani-American model Somy Ali has opened up about her relationship with Bollywood actor Salman Khan. The actress has now revealed on social media the domestic violence she has experienced while dating Salman.
Somy took to Instagram and shared a post with frequently asked questions. Answering one of the questions as to why she deleted some of the posts from the past, she explained, “Yes, because I had used profanity and my anger got the best of me. As the executive director of an NGO, it did not sit well with me to have profane posts on my social media. Thus, I deleted them.”
Talking about one more question that people often ask her—what happened between Somy Ali and Salman Khan? She responded to that in the post, saying, “The eight years spent with him were the worst years of my entire existence. In addition to tonnes of affairs and flings, he would constantly belittle me by calling me ugly, stupid, and dumb. Not a day went by that he wouldn’t make me feel worthless and small. “
“He would not acknowledge me as his girlfriend in public for years, and when he finally did, he would insult me in front of his friends and berate me nonstop. Somy Ali further explained what happened between her and Salman Khan. She accused the Tiger 3 actor of alleged acts of misogyny and woman beating. “Someone who would not insult me and would actually be nice to me. Unfortunately, I was unaware that these men were simply using me and I was building a future with each affair while I was simply being used. When Salman learned of these affairs he had the guts to after beating me saying that I am a man and only men can cheat not women. I was aghast at that statement and the s*xism that reeked from it. Let’s not forget that just because Salman or anyone else is nice to you, they are the same as others. I had it the worst in terms of verbal, s*xual, and physical abuse,” she said.
She also spoke up about the reason: “What took you so long to come out and talk about what you went through with Salman?” The former actress said, “This is not breaking news by any means. Rummage through any tabloid or a film magazine from the early 90s to 1999 and you will read articles about Somy being physically abused by Salman.”

Actor and director Musaddiq Malek has finally opened up about sharing a post on social media against his ‘Habs’ leading man Feroze Khan, amid his domestic abuse controversy.
The Merey Paas Tum Ho star recently spoke to Something Haute where he was asked about his ‘harsh’ post about Feroze, an alleged domestic abuser.
In his post he wrote, “A team of 40 people worked day and night for 100+ days to put up a show with literally blood and sweat, can’t let some ignorant, self-centered, egoistic man ruin that for all of us.”
To this, he replied, “It was my decision to post because domestic abuse is close to me, my aunty was killed by my uncle, so if anyone is involved in even a little abuse, it is a very big thing for me.”
The Habs director further said, “Working with Feroze Khan was a little tough because there were commitments from his side which were not transparent, and he misdirected the team, apart from many occasions where he tried to double-cross me.”
He went on to say that Feroze also tried to meddle with the director’s job, and on numerous occasions, he cried when it wasn’t necessary.
During the interview, he also revealed things about actors and their attitudes toward directors.
“I want to tell people that an actor’s job is a serious job, but which many actors do not take seriously,” he said. “In Hollywood, the actors come to pick the directors, however, in Pakistan, the director has to pamper the actor, then the actor says, ‘I will come to do your scene’. It’s not my scene it’s what you are paid for.”
A major manufacturer of foam products in Pakistan, Diamond Industries Limited has announced to suspend its manufacturing operations from today owing to a shortage of imported raw material.
The company informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange about the closure in a notice.
“Due to adverse economic conditions in the country and non-availability of imported raw material, the company has suspended its manufacturing operations for a short term with effect from Tuesday, January 10, 2023, till further notice subject to the availability of imported raw material in the country,” read the notice.
The announcement follows several companies announcing reductions in production or shutdowns of operations due to slow sales and low inventory.
It is worth noting that Diamond Industries has been known for selling foam products in the country for more than three decades.
Experts believe that the situation of industrial sector does not seem to improve soon.
A traffic warden in Lahore has won the title of Mr Lahore, 24 NewsHD TV has reported. As per details, the traffic warden named Waseem Arshad has secured the title after winning a bodybuilding competition 2023.
Waseem Arshad was the runner-up in the Mr Lahore competition last year, which was held in January 2022.
City Traffic Police (CTO) Dr Asad Malhi invited him to his office for encouragement.
