In a notification issued by the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra), the government has directed all television channels to show Pakistan map daily before the 9pm news bulletin.
The notification is titled: ‘Streamlining Correct Use of Pakistan Political Map‘.
“All the news channels (both public and private) have to flash the political map of Pakistan for 02 seconds before airing the news bulletin at 09:00pm on regular basis,” it reads.
Previously in August, Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan had announced the approval of a new political map of Pakistan, which included Indian-occupied Kashmir in its entirety.
Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir “Disputed territory- final status to be decided in line with the relevant United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolutions” is written on the map.

After kicking off his World Cup campaign with a four-off Trent Boult over the third man region, he took a liking to Tim Southee and whacked him for back-to-back sixes before pulling Trent Boult for a maximum and scoring a brace off him to clinch Pakistan’s second win in the tournament.
Against Afghanistan, when he came to bat, his side was 122 for 4 and the required run rate had crept up to more than eight with 26 runs required from the last three overs. Asif, however, only needed seven balls to get the job done. After opening his account with a single off Naveen-ul-Haq, he mercilessly dispatched seamer Karim Janat for four majestic maximums in an over to maintain Pakistan’s perfect record in the tournament. Fittingly, it was his bat from which the winning runs flowed in both the games.
To put into context how good Asif’s six-hitting has been and how hard sixes are to come by in this tournament, take a look at this stat: Asif took 19 deliveries for these seven sixes. On the other hand, Indian batsmen took 250 balls for seven sixes, New Zealand batsmen took 240 balls for seven sixes while West Indian batsmen took 147 balls to hit seven sixes.
More crucially, none of the seven sixes Asif struck against Afghanistan or New Zealand were mishits or mis-timed slogs. His pyrotechnics featured meaty blows over long-off, midwicket, extra cover and wide long-on — an indicator of his expansive hitting arc.
Although Pakistan has got world number one and world number 4 T20I batters at the top of the order, they need someone who can put the finishing touches and up the ante down the order. At the biggest stage, Asif has advertised his credentials, repaid the faith of those who had faith in him, and made a telling statement that Pakistan have found the right man in him to do that job.
Actor Dur-e-Fishan Saleem took to her Instagram stories to slam Prime Minister Imran Khan for his recent statement on Inflation.

She said, “Maine to iska reply hi nahi kia, isko bilkul ignore kia.”
She added, “You are very creepy, cheapness isi liye ki thi takay koi response aye but ap abhi us level pe nahi aye.”
Shah earlier expressed her annoyance over being constantly berated by her mother for not getting married, saying that it is part of Pakistani culture for mothers to constantly remind a single woman to get married.

Meanwhile, comedian and host Adeal Ajmal aka Aadi also got furious over Shah for using abusive language for Pakistan and Pakistani mothers.
Criticising Shah for her comments, Aadi said: “Are you sure you want to use this term [expletive word] as a public figure? Maaf kerdo, jaan choro to you Mom? Are you sure to post this on your profile?”
He also urged the actress to leave this country, if she has so much problem with it.
A sessions court in Islamabad issued a written order warning Zahir Jaffer, the primary accused in the Noor Mukadam murder case, that his court appearances would be disallowed if he doesn’t mend his attitude, reports Dawn.
“Zahir Zakir created fuss in the court and tried to interfere in the proceedings. He is directed to mend his attitude otherwise his attendance will be exempted from the court and he will be taken on video link from jail,” read the court order.
Zahir Jaffer was kicked out of an Islamabad sessions court on Wednesday for interrupting and misbehaving with the judge, Samaa has reported. In a video that was widely shared on social media, Zahir can be seen being dragged out of court by policemen. As per media reports, he misbehaved and used derogatory language in the court.
Journalist Zubair Ali Khan had tweeted that Zahir Jaffer in court said, “I’m giving you guys an opportunity to hang me but still you guys are dragging this, this shows it is all a puppet show.”
In a strange video, rain is seen lashing on just one car in Indonesia, reports ARY News.
The viral event reportedly took place at a parking lot located in West Java on Monday.
Uryan Riana who witnessed the rain pouring down said that he first thought of it as a prank.
He said, “It just so happened that I was in the parking lot at that time. I immediately took my cellphone and took a video of the rain.”
“At first, I thought someone was playing with water above the hotel. But when I looked up, the water was actually falling from the sky. It was raining.”
Indonesia usually has monsoon season at this time of the year.
It is not the first time that such a bizarre episode has taken place as in 2017, rain poured down on a single house located in South Jakarta in Indonesia.

Talking about an old incident, Shafiq said: “Once our team members decided that all the Sheikhs of our team will give us a dinner. So Saeed Ajmal and I, among two or three people are Sheikh. So we decide to give them a dinner. There’s this place in front of National Stadium Karachi and we went there. After the meal we saw that the bill was very high. So we four five Sheikhs went to Saeed bhai to ask him to divide the bill. He said that the bill has been cleared. I asked him how? He told us that I went to the counter and said that Pakistan team has come to your restaurant, will you charge us as well?”
Everyone in the studio started laughing, while Babar and Shafiq said that Saeed bhai got us a free dinner.
Saeed Ajmal is not only known for his phenomenal spin bowling but he has got a great sense of humour as well. The former cricketer is currently working as the assistant coach in Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) franchise Islamabad United.
