Ducky Bhai thanks Field Marshal Asim Munir, DGMI for helping him get released

YouTuber Saadur Rehman, widely known as Ducky Bhai, has thanked Field Marshal Asim Munir and Directorate General of Military Intelligence for helping his family during a difficult time.

In a nearly hour long video posted on his YouTube channel on Sunday, Ducky Bhai expressed gratitude to the military leadership.

He said, “Field Marshal Asim Munir and DG ISPR showed utmost professionalism and helped my family escape the clutches of a corrupt mafia. Big Brother and his team also gave us full support.”

Some journalists speculated that the person he referred to as “Big Brother” is linked to military intelligence.

He further said that such a large-scale clean-up against corrupt elements had never happened before and credited intelligence agencies for it.

He shared details of his arrest and the time he spent in custody, claiming he faced physical and verbal abuse by NCCIA officials. He accused controversial Additional Director Sarfaraz Chaudhry of verbally abusing and physically assaulting him.

“He stood up from his chair and verbally swore at me,” Rehman alleged. “He asked me, ‘Where does your money come from?’ I replied that it comes from YouTube. I have eight million subscribers. He accused me of corrupting the minds of children. He kept verbally abusing me and slapped me so many times that I lost count.”

He described a more harrowing encounter with Sarfaraz Chaudhry, saying, “He took me to the Additional Director’s room, there were five officers sitting there. Sarfaraz Chaudhry asked me, ‘Which application’s country head are you? What does your father do?’ I said, ‘Sir, he is a professor in a university.’”

He continued, “Then he shouted at me and I stayed quiet. He shouted and said, ‘Speak!’ I said, ‘Sir, I only make videos, I am a YouTuber.’ Then he used a swear word about my mother and slapped me on the face. He told me to raise my face, and as soon as I did, he slapped me again. He kept slapping me until he got fed up.”

Rehman said he felt helpless and terrified. “At that time, I felt very helpless, what wrong I had done. I even closed my legs tightly. He said, ‘Hands up.’ I raised my hands. Then he made a video call. A child received the call, whose estimated age was about seven years.”

“The staff member standing behind me hit me very hard on my back. Sarfaraz Chaudhry told the child, ‘Look what is happening to him. You watch his programs, right?’ Then they kept slapping me. On the video call, they were saying, ‘You watch his programs, and this is what I do to him.”

Ducky said that he felt extremely helpless. “I didn’t understand what to do or how to get out of this. What had I even done?”

He also accused officials of trying to bribe him and later seizing money from his Binance account.

“When I was in NCCIA custody, you probably heard about $326,000 during a podcast with the assistant director. He said that they seized this money from me. The investigating officer ordered me to open my Binance account,” he said.

“He closed all my trades and tokens at a loss and converted them to US dollars. He then ordered me to transfer it.”

Ducky Bhai further alleged that the investigating officer transferred the amount into his own personal account.

“I felt very helpless on the first day,” he said, adding that officials beat him despite his cooperation. He also said that when he met someone he knew, he asked them to request that the guards “beat him less.”

He also apologised saying, “I want to apologise if anyone believes my intention was to justify the FIR registered against me. If any of my content has ever created a negative impact, knowingly or unknowingly, I sincerely apologize to the people of Pakistan,” Ducky Bhai said.

He added, “I have always tried to entertain my audience and bring fresh content. However, if any video or promotional activity from me resulted in negativity, I accept responsibility and seek forgiveness from the nation.”

The content creator was arrested in August from Lahore Airport by the NCCIA on allegations of promoting online gambling and betting applications through his platform.

The Lahore High Court granted him bail on November 25, but authorities did not release him immediately after the order.

In September, NCCIA Lahore Additional Director Sarfraz Chaudhry was removed from his post over multiple controversies, including  allegedly beating Rehman.

On October 28, authorities arrested six NCCIA personnel on charges of misuse of authority and bribery. Barrister Mian Ali Ashfaq confirmed that the FIA took them into custody and would produce them before the district court. He identified the arrested officials as Additional Director Sarfraz Chaudhry, In-charge Zawar, Sub-Inspector Ali Raza, Assistant Director Shoaib Riaz, Yasir Gujjar and Mujtaba Kamran.

Police registered the FIR against nine people, including eight NCCIA officials, with the FIA Anti-Corruption Circle Lahore on the complaint of Rehman’s wife, Aroob Jatoi.

Ducky Bhai currently has over eight million subscribers on YouTube and remains one of Pakistan’s most followed digital creators.

  • ISPR rubbishes Suhail Warraich’s claims of ‘interview with army chief’

ISPR rubbishes Suhail Warraich’s claims of ‘interview with army chief’

Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General (DG) Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has denied claims that Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Asim Munir gave an interview to journalist Suhail Warraich during his recent visit to Brussels.

COAS Munir was in Belgium last week to attend high-level meetings and various events where he addressed a wide range of issues, including Pakistan’s foreign policy, defence strategy and security challenges.

In his Aug 16 column for Daily Jang, senior journalist and analyst Suhail Warraich claimed that he had a meeting with the army chief in Brussels and asked the latter several questions, including ones related to politics.

With the claim going viral, ISPR has categorically stated that Warraich fabricated the story “for his own benefit”, emphasising that the army chief did not mention the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) or its founder Imran Khan at the event in Brussels where Warraich claimed to have had the two-hour one-on-one meeting with him.

The ISPR chief further clarified that Warraich was only one of several participants who attended the ceremony in Belgium’s capital, and called out Daily Jang for publishing an “unverified story”, saying the news platform should have confirmed it before publication.

Earlier, Warraich had in his column titled “Field Marshal Sey Pehli Mulaqaat [First Meeting with The Field Marshal]” claimed that during the meeting, he posed tough questions to COAS Munir, which were answered with clarity.

The journalist wrote that when he asked the field marshal about rumours suggesting that a plan was underway to remove President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif from their posts, he termed it a complete lie.

When pressed that such news stemmed from civil and military agencies, the army chief was quoted as saying that it was impossible. “However, the army chief maintained that elements behind such rumours were those who oppose both the government and the establishment and seek to create political anarchy,” wrote Warraich.

To a political question, Warraich quoted the army chief as saying that “political reconciliation is possible through a sincere apology”, adding, “In this context, he recited on stage verses from the Holy Quran regarding the creation of Adam and the role of Satan, along with their translation.”

In another column printed August 17 titled “Musafair Banam Qaidi 804 (From a Traveler to Prisoner 804)”, the journalist advised Imran Khan, “If reconciliation is possible through an apology, then immediately doing it and getting out of jail is pragmatism.”

‘Nonsense’: DG ISPR rebuffs reports of Asim Munir becoming president

The Director General (DG) of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has dubbed reports claiming that Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir intends to become the country’s president, “nonsense”.

The military spokesperson passed the remark during a recent interview with the British journal The Economist.

Last month, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi firmly rebuffed rumours that President Zardari was being asked to resign or that the army chief was allegedly aspiring to assume the presidency.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Naqvi wrote, “We are fully aware” of who is behind the “malicious campaign” targeting the president, Prime Minister (PM) Shahbaz Sharif, and the army chief.

“I have categorically stated that there has been no discussion, nor does any such idea exist, about the President being asked to resign or the COAS aspiring to assume the presidency,” he clarified.

Naqvi underscored that the President enjoys a strong and respectful relationship with the Armed Forces’ leadership. “I know who is spreading these falsehoods, why they are doing so, and who stands to benefit from this propaganda,” he quoted Zardari as saying.

The interior minister emphasised that the sole focus of the COAS is the strength and stability of Pakistan, “nothing else”.

“To those involved in this narrative, do whatever you wish in collaboration with hostile foreign agencies. As for us, we will do whatever is necessary to make Pakistan strong again, InshAllah (sic),” he said.

While some media reports suggest that it all started with a couple of journalists “revealing” on social media that a plan was underway to remove Zardari for allegedly leaking the specific meeting conversation regarding the plan to build new Canals from the Indus River, others claim the rumours began circulating after the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) obtained a simple majority in the National Assembly (NA) after the reinstatement of reserved seats by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) following the top court’s Constitutional Bench verdict.

When the DG of the military’s public relations was asked about how Pakistan would respond to New Delhi taking any action in the future. Not mincing his words, the General replied that it would begin by striking deeper within India.

“We’ll start from the east,” the military spokesperson stated, adding, “They [India] also need to understand that they can be hit everywhere.”

‘If you stop our water, we will stop your breaths’; ISPR chief warns India

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General (DG), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, has issued a stern warning to India against blocking Pakistan’s share of water.

“If you [India] stop our water, we will stop your breaths,” DG ISPR Sharif reportedly said while addressing a public gathering at a university.

Earlier, in an interview with an international media outlet, the DG ISPR stated, “Nobody should dare to stop Pakistan’s water. We hope such a time never comes, but if it does, the world will witness our actions.”

Following the April 22 attack in Pahalgam, in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), which killed 26 people, New Delhi suspended the long-standing Indus Waters Treaty (IWT) after accusing Pakistan of involvement, despite failing to provide any evidence so far.

According to the treaty, the waters of the western rivers, Chenab, Jhelum, and Indus, belong to Pakistan, while the eastern rivers, Beas, Ravi, and Sutlej, are allocated to India. However, India is permitted to use the water from the western rivers for hydroelectric projects, provided it does not divert their flow.

Pakistan has declared that any act of diverting or blocking its share of water will be considered “an act of war”.

Earlier this month, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif also warned India, saying that Pakistan would strike any structure built to block the water flow in violation of the IWT.

“If they attempt to construct such a structure, we will strike and destroy it,” the defence minister stated during an appearance on a private news channel.

Asif added that stopping water would constitute an act of aggression against Pakistan. “Aggression is not only carried out through artillery shells or gunfire. It has many forms and phases. [Stopping the water] is also a phase of aggression. Such actions can lead nations to die from hunger and thirst,” he asserted.

However, he also noted, “But for now, we are heading to forums available to us, starting from the Indus Waters Treaty. We will pursue this matter.”

  • Military exposes Indian facilitation of terror in Pakistan

Military exposes Indian facilitation of terror in Pakistan

Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has said that there are loads of evidence available to expose the horrific stories of Indian-sponsored terrorism in Pakistan.

In a media briefing in Islamabad on Friday (today), the military spokesperson flanked by Director General Public Relations (DGPR) of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed and Deputy Chief of the Naval Staff Operations Rear Admiral Raja Rab Nawaz, said that “for each and every incident we can tell you how the Indian hand was involved.”

“The terrorist leaders who surrendered tell us about how India supports terrorism in Pakistan,” Ahmed Sharif added.

DG ISPR said that India has “no evidence” for its allegations of Pakistan’s involvement in the Pahalgam attack or the supposed attacks inside Indian territory in the last 48 hours, adding, “You just concoct stories. I think the time has come to ask the real and bitter questions that the Indian government needs to stop living in cinema and theatrics.”

Providing details of the way the Indian media blamed Pakistan shortly after the Pahalgam attack on April 22 without any evidence, DG ISPR Ahmed Sharif maintained that India had adopted a similar stance in the past as well.

He questioned, “Is this the first time India is doing this? There is a history to it?”

“How did the Indian government jump to the conclusion regarding who the attackers were within 10 minutes of the incident? When you don’t have any evidence, what do you do? You open up the military front.”

The military’s media wing spokesperson went on to say that India was shifting the blame for the attack on Pakistan to divert attention from its internal problems.

He called out India for launching attacks on Pakistan and targeting civilians, including women and children.

Detailing about the Indian drones downed in Pakistani territory, he said that the military has neutralised 77 Israeli drones sent by India so far, noting, “We are taking each one of them out. Not one of them has been able to go back to India and not one of them will be able to go back.”

He said in an apparent reference to India that “if you are so fond of Pakistan firing at you, we will fulfil your demand at a time, place and means of our choosing.”

DG ISPR Ahmed Sharif also asked India to “show the debris of at least [one downed] Pakistani aircraft or drone that Pakistan has fired” as evidence that Pakistan attacked India last night.

‘When we will attack, entire world will know’: Army trolls India, ‘filmi’ media

Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has said that when Pakistan strikes, there would be no need for either side to announce it, as the entire world would come to know.

Addressing a press conference on Thursday (today), flanked by Deputy Prime Minister (PM) and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, DG ISPR Ahmed Sharif dismissed India’s claims of launching strikes on 15 sites as “baseless and fictional”, saying such drama belongs to the theatre, not the battlefield.

He asked, “Has the Indian army and government been living in the 18th century? When will they step out of the theatre and cinema and return to reality?”

Categorically rejecting the visuals shared by India as “proof” of supposed strikes, DG ISPR Ahmed Sharif mocked that at least they could have set fire to the dry fields they are showing. “These are just barren patches — nothing more,” he said.

He added that Pakistan’s armed forces remain alert and capable, and that any misadventure by India will be met with a forceful response.

Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Dar said that the country has not targeted any civilian population in India, especially Amritsar.

The deputy PM revealed that multiple Indian drones had violated Pakistan’s airspace, including one that attempted to strike a military installation in Lahore.

“Just 36 hours ago, Pakistan faced a major confrontation, and by the grace of Allah, emerged successful,” the foreign minister said, adding, “We assure the nation that we will not let them down in the future either.”

He confirmed that the Pakistan Armed Forces had successfully shot down five Indian fighter jets in response to the aggression.

He reiterated that any misadventure by India would be met with a decisive response and affirmed Pakistan’s firm commitment to the protection of its citizens.

  • India targeting hydro-power structures ‘unacceptable and dangerous escalation’: DG ISPR

India targeting hydro-power structures ‘unacceptable and dangerous escalation’: DG ISPR

Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has revealed that India has targeted the Nauseri Dam structure of the Neelum-Jhelum Hydropower Project after launching “Operation Sindoor” in the early hours of Wednesday. The strikes have so far killed at least 26 people and injured 46.

Speaking at a media briefing on Wednesday, Lt Gen Chaudhry described the attack on the hydropower facility as an “unacceptable and dangerous escalation.” He questioned India’s intent, asking: “Is India trying to damage the water of Pakistan’s people? Does it know the consequences and meaning of this? […] Do international norms and war laws allow you to target the water reservoirs, dams and hydropower structures?”

He further highlighted that during what he called India’s “cowardly act,” several national and international flights were airborne, putting thousands of lives at serious risk.

“At that time, there were 57 international flights operating inside Pakistan’s airspace,” he stated, adding that the consequences of any of those being hit “perhaps did not cross the minds of those who were undertaking this senseless aggression”

DG ISPR clarified that no Indian aircraft was allowed to enter Pakistan’s airspace, and none of Pakistan’s jets crossed into Indian airspace, adding that “At no time, any of their aircraft were allowed to enter into Pakistan’s airspace and also at no time, none of Pakistan’s aircraft went into Indian airspace.”

He further said, “Pakistan is responding fully to this Indian aggression and will keep responding…India’s misconceptions would be corrected,” noting, “We in the armed forces love and embrace martyrdom much and much more than we fear death.”

DG ISPR, while outlining Pakistan’s response to the India’s aggression, said that one jet each was shot down in the General Areas of Bhatinda, Jammu, Akhnoor, and Srinagar, while two were brought down in Avantipur. He added that the downed Indian aircraft included three Rafale jets, one MiG-29, one SU aircraft, and a Heron combat drone.

“The Pakistan Air Force brought these jets down when they attacked Pakistan, only after they released their weapons. They were engaged and shot at once they took on unprovoked and uncalled-for aggression against the state, the territorial integrity and innocent people of Pakistan by firing at them.

“It should also be noted that the Pakistan Armed Forces could have shot at even more than 10 of their aircraft, but we exercised restraint.”

Referring to the firing at the Line of Control (LoC), he said that shelling by the Indian Army had resulted in the deaths of five civilians, including a five-year-old child.

“Please keep in mind that India targeted mosques and making religious places target reflects the narrow thinking of [indian Prime Minister Narendra] Modi’s Hindutva government that suppresses and targets minorities, especially Muslims,” he concluded.

‘925 terrorists killed in 59,775 operations’: Army presents 2024 counter-terror report card

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General (DG) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry on Friday revealed the military’s counter-terror report card for 2024, announcing that over 900 terrorists were killed in nearly 60,000 operations this year.

In his fifth media briefing of the year, the ISPR chief revealed that over 59,779 IBOs [intelligence-based operations] were carried out against terrorists during 2024. During these operations, 925 terrorists, including Khawarij, were killed and multiple others were apprehended.

“Pakistan has fought a long war against terrorism and is still fighting. It has rendered highly valued sacrifices in this fight,” Lt Gen Chaudhry said.

During various operations, he added, a significant quantity of weapons was recovered from terrorist hideouts, demonstrating the scale of the threat and the success of counter-terrorism efforts.

The ISPR chief also highlighted the tremendous cost being borne by the armed forces.

“Everyone must realise that our soldiers are paying the price for these decisions with their blood. Sixteen FC soldiers were martyred just six days ago. Does their blood hold no value?” he questioned while referring to the tragic incident that took place at a South Waziristan checkpost last Friday.

On Tehreek-i-Taliban (TTP) hideouts in Afghanistan, Lt Gen Chaudhry said terror roots were often traced back to the neighbouring country and Pakistan remained resolute to dismantle these terror networks without compromise.

“Networks operating from Afghan soil continue to target Pakistan, and we are resolute in eliminating them,” he said.

Responding to a journalist’s question about May 9 incidents, he stressed that it was not a case of the Pakistan Army but in fact that of “the people of Pakistan”.

Commenting on civilians’ trial in military courts and recent convictions, he said that the courts had received validation from the International Court of Justice (ICJ). “Military courts were established decades ago and in accordance with the Constitution and law.”

Lt Gen Chaudhry made it clear that anyone who was involved in incidents like May 9 in the future would face the same consequences. “The accused can appeal against their convictions to the Army Chief, in high courts or the Supreme Court,” he added.

Addressing widespread criticism against military trials, the ISPR chief said that those who were now criticising military courts had previously supported them. “They are the ones who previously supported military courts,” he said.

“The process will continue till the planners and executers of May 9 are brought to justice,” he concluded.

‘Militants will be dealt with an iron hand,’ DG ISPR

Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmad Sharif Chaudhry has said that militants will be dealt with an iron hand.

During a press conference at General Headquarters in Rawalpindi, the DG said, “There is no area where terrorists are active,” ruling out the presence of a no-go area in the country.

He further said that factions that attempts to create a rift between Pakistan and Afghanistan, two brotherly nations, are “living in an imaginary world.”

Commenting on former spymaster General Faiz Hameed’s military trial, Chaudhry remarked that if an individual from the Pakistan Army “works for personal gain or promotes a specific agenda,” the law will take its course.

He clarified that no one is exempt from the law, and action will be taken against anyone who does not abide law.

“Pakistan Army is neither against nor in favour of any political party,” he added.

Speaking about security operations nationwide, Chaudhry claimed that security forces and Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) carried out 32,173 Intelligence-Based Operations (IBOs) against terrorists in the first eight months of the ongoing year.

‘I don’t owe apology to anyone’, Khan responds to DG ISPR

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founding chairman Imran Khan, who is currently in Adiala jail, turned down the military’s demand to apologise for May 9 riots. He also said that his party had no connection with the violent protests that occurred last year.

“Why should I tender apology, it should be sought from me,” the imprisoned former prime minister said while talking to journalists in Rawalpindi’s Adiala jail on Wednesday.

The PTI founder was responding to a question related to Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Tuesday’s press conference, wherein he demanded “those involved in the May 9 violent protests to apologise” and shun politics of “anarchy” before holding any dialogue.

Earlier last year, when Imran Khan was arrested after the May 9 protests, he told the court that people will react again to my arrest.

During a long press conference, the military spokesperson stated that they will not dialogue with those who attacked military installations and disrespected the nation’s martyrs.
