Dr Zainab is NOT divorcing Feroze Khan

Actor Feroze Khan keeps on landing into the spotlight, becoming the center of public scrutiny following fresh speculation regarding his second divorce.

A viral screenshot purportedly from his wife Dr. Zainab’s Instagram account circulated over the weekend, indicating she was splitting from Khan. The screenshot mentioned that she could no longer continue with someone who lacked trust in her and requested privacy. The screenshot spread across social media, fueling conjecture about the couple’s relationship.

Dr. Zainab has addressed the issue on her official Instagram account, refuting the rumors and labeling the viral post as fake. She shared a story that included the message: “Please unfollow or report this kind of pages. They keep spreading fake news and mentally disturbing people. I honestly don’t understand how they gain access to stories that I never even posted, or that aren’t visible to my audience but somehow appear to them. It’s creepy, and you should be ashamed of this behavior.”

Dr. Zainab asserted that she never shared such a story, and it was not accessible to her followers, yet it found its way onto gossip pages. She urged the public to disregard unverified social media assertions and to report accounts that disseminate falsehoods.

The viral screenshot falsely claimed that she had chosen to end her marriage with Feroze Khan and accused him of having trust issues and poor conduct. Dr. Zainab confirmed that these allegations were fabricated.

Feroze Khan wed Dr. Zainab in June 2024, following the end of his first marriage to Syeda Aliza Sultan, which concluded in 2022 after a highly publicized separation.

  • ‘Did everything to save my marriage but still got divorced’; Zainab Qayyum’s clip goes viral

‘Did everything to save my marriage but still got divorced’; Zainab Qayyum’s clip goes viral

Pakistani actress Zainab Qayyum has revealed that her marriage ended in divorce just 10 months after tying the knot, despite doing everything she could to be a good wife.

An old interview clip of Zainab Qayyum discussing her marriage has recently gone viral, and several social media pages have reshared posts about her short-lived marriage and eventual divorce.

The actress had spoken about her marriage in an interview given to Something Haute, where she described the efforts she made to save her relationship.

“I have a traditional mindset. If it were up to me, I would have gotten married at 17,” she said, adding that she eventually married late, in 2010, when many of her friends and fellow actresses were also settling down.

“A lot of my friends were getting married and having children, and that made me feel it was the right time to do the same,” she shared.

After marriage, she temporarily stopped working and moved with her husband to Dubai, and later the couple relocated to London.

However, despite her efforts, the marriage did not last. “Unfortunately, the marriage didn’t work, and it ended in divorce within just 10 months,” she said. “But I did everything I could to save it.”

Zainab explained she wasn’t upset about the divorce. “I’m not sad about the divorce, it didn’t happen because of me. I had made up my mind that I would only leave my husband’s house in a coffin, but he divorced me.”

“I did everything to save the marriage, everything except giving him a kidney,” she added.

The actress clarified that she has no regrets about the outcome. “I have no guilt or remorse. I know it wasn’t my fault. He was the one who wanted to end it.”

She further stated, “He realized before I did that our marriage wasn’t right. We had very different mindsets. That’s why he chose to divorce me after 10 months.”

  • ‘Pain and grief’; Mira Sethi opens up about divorce two years ago

‘Pain and grief’; Mira Sethi opens up about divorce two years ago

Pakistani actor and writer Mira Sethi has candidly opened up about her divorce, shedding light on the emotional and societal impact it had on her and particularly as a woman in the public eye.

During a recent podcast appearance, Sethi revealed that she quietly went through a divorce in March 2023, during the filming of her critically acclaimed drama Kuch Ankahi.

“Just a few months after we started working on Kuch Ankahi, I got divorced,” she shared. “It was March 2023, about two and a half years ago and I was in the midst of it while shooting. It was a very tender, delicate, and powerful time in my life. In that sense, I was lucky to have something I could channel my energy into.”

When asked if portraying her character helped her process the experience, she responded: “It gave me something to do. I would wake up, go to set, and of course Sajal [Aly], [Muhammad] Ahmad sahab, and director Nadeem Baig knew what I was going through. They were all so gentle and supportive.”

Sethi also reflected on how divorce is perceived in our society, particularly for women. She recalled a line from an older drama she acted in, which struck a chord with her: “There was a line… I can’t even remember the name of the drama but it went, ‘Ek talaaq yafta aurat maashray ke liye kanta ban ke reh jati hai’ (A divorced woman becomes a thorn for the society). I remember sitting on a bed, delivering that dialogue, and it has stayed with me.”

While she acknowledged that societal attitudes are gradually shifting, the stigma still lingers.

“Things are definitely changing… slowly, yes, but they are. Anecdotally, many actresses I work with have also gone through this. I could say their names but we know who they are. And conversations like these are important. But yes, along with the pain and grief, there’s also something deeper.”

“Divorce is not just painful; it’s a collapse of narrative,” she continued. “You ask yourself, who am I now? How do I relate to the world or even to myself? Being married is not just cozy and comforting, it gives you a framework, a story to belong to. And when that ends, the story ends too.”

Mira Sethi married her longtime love interest Bilal Siddiqui in an intimate ceremony in California in November 2019. Despite her parents Najam Sethi and Jugnu Mohsin both being well-known journalists and her brother Ali Sethi being a celebrated singer, Mira has carved out her own distinct identity in Pakistan’s entertainment industry.

She is best known for her performances in Paristaan, Kuch Ankahi, and the film Cake, earning praise for both her acting talent and her thoughtful, socially relevant storytelling.

  • Internet reacts to video of Javeria Abbasi explaining ‘marriage with her step-brother’

Internet reacts to video of Javeria Abbasi explaining ‘marriage with her step-brother’

A resurfaced interview of veteran actor Javeria Abbasi has reignited public interest due to a revelation about her unusual family and marital history. During a candid conversation with TV host Nida Yasir, Javeria opened up about how her ex-husband, actor Shamoon Abbasi, was also her step-brother.

The interview began with Javeria detailing her early entry into the entertainment industry. She recalled attending Express Talent as a member of the audience, where she approached the late Nayla Jaffrey for an autograph. Instead, she was encouraged to audition. That moment marked the beginning of her acting career, and she soon earned her first award for a PTV drama directed by Nida Yasir’s father.

When asked if she was married at the time, Javeria revealed she had just gotten engaged to Shamoon. The host then shared that the couple’s unique family dynamic was the inspiration behind drama serial Hum Tum, which starred Atiqa Odho, Sajid Hassan, Aamina Sheikh, and Mohib Mirza.

Clarifying the family ties, Nida explained, “Javeria’s mother and Shamoon’s father married, making them step-siblings.” Javeria confirmed this, adding, “People often get confused by our family setup. The rest of our siblings are from our respective parents. That’s why there’s always confusion about whether Anoushey Abbasi is my sister or Shamoon’s, she’s both.”

Nida light-heartedly addressed the controversy surrounding Javeria and Shamoon’s relationship, saying, “So take your mind out of the gutter.” Javeria responded with humor, “He was the first man I saw, so I thought I’d just hold onto him,” she laughed, before adding, “It was more about bringing the family together under one roof. It made sense and worked for a while.”

The actor shared that her wedding took place at her maternal uncle’s house, despite the rukhsati leading her back to her family home. The couple, who tied the knot in 1997, when Javeria was just 17 and Shamoon was 22, were married for over a decade and co-parent their daughter Anzala. They officially divorced in 2009.

Reflecting on her marriage, Javeria noted that being married to someone within the family didn’t exempt her from the traditional “saas-bahu” struggles. In fact, she claimed it was harder. “My mother was determined to prove that her daughter was the best. While working 12-hour shifts, I still had to manage all the household chores.”

Following her divorce, Javeria moved back in with her mother. In a happy turn of events, she found love again and married businessman Adeel Haider on March 15, 2024. The couple’s relationship began as love at first sight for Haider, who reportedly spent three years convincing Javeria to marry him.

However, social media users were amazed to hear the story and have mixed opinions about it. One netizen said, “It might be allowed in Islam.”  While many badmouthed the actors and questioned whether they could not find someone else to marry.  Another user wrote: “This is Pakistan, anything can happen here.”

Rajab Butt breaks silence on divorce claims

TikToker and YouTuber Rajab Butt has finally addressed the swirling rumours about his marriage, firmly denying all claims of divorce while admitting to past mistakes and issuing a public apology to his wife.

In a recent YouTube video, Rajab responded to fan questions and online speculation, emphasizing that the marriage has not ended in divorce.

“On TikTok, people are claiming that my wife and I are divorced, while some have even spread rumours about the birth of my baby. I have never confirmed whether we are expecting or not,” Rajab said, expressing frustration over the misinformation. At one point, he gestured to his lips and remarked, “Did I say anything,” indicating his silence on the matter until now.

Rajab asked his followers to wait until tomorrow, promising a full clarification. He also took aim at unofficial fan pages linked to either himself or his wife, Emaan, stating, “Those who want our separation will be rewarded with a slap because I don’t believe in words, I believe in actions. I have just waited for the right time.”

Addressing the divorce claims directly, he asserted, “Every news regarding the divorce is wrong. Those who have used our names in their posts and podcasts are wrong.” He admitted to conflicts with his wife but stressed that their personal matters were handled privately. “We fought or killed each other, we did it in our house or recorded everything on our phones. I have never let it run on the news or the internet and will never let it happen in future.”

Rajab confirmed he has apologized to his wife for his own mistakes but declined to reveal any issues from her side, stating that he will not discuss such matters on social media. “You guys must not have seen a marriage like ours,” he said, revealing that due to work commitments and other issues, he has been away from home for most of the six months since their marriage. “I have only been home for like 10 to 15 days, and you all know the circumstances.”

Concluding the video, Rajab assured fans that all their concerns will be addressed in his next upload. “Everybody will be happy, except for me,” he added, hinting at the emotional toll the situation has taken on him.

For weeks, Rajab Butt’s marriage has been the center of widespread online gossip. Speculation began when fans noticed a lack of interaction between Rajab and his wife Emaan on social media, followed by cryptic posts and emerging claims from fan pages and gossip accounts. Rumours ranged from their alleged divorce to claims that the couple was expecting a child — all without any confirmation from Rajab himself.

Fan pages and podcast clips began circulating unverified claims about the couple’s personal life. Some asserted that Rajab and Emaan had parted ways, while others shared speculation about pregnancy. None of which had been addressed by the couple publicly until now.

Following his separation, Shoaib moved on with his third marriage to Pakistani actress Sana Javed, frequently making headlines amid criticism. However, his family’s absence from the wedding raised questions, which his sister has now addressed.

In a widely discussed interview, Shoaib’s sister reportedly confirmed that “our entire family chose not to attend Shoaib’s wedding with Sana Javed.”

Meanwhile, Sania’s sister, Anam Mirza, had earlier confirmed in January 2024 that Sania had divorced Shoaib months before his marriage to Sana Javed.

  • Here’s what Hina Bayat thinks of ‘modern marriages’

Here’s what Hina Bayat thinks of ‘modern marriages’

Why are divorces and breakups rising? Is social media responsible? Or have people stopped compromising? Veteran actress Hina Bayat has shared her two cents on how she thinks relationships are changing.

Appearing on FHM podcast, Hina she shared her opinion on the growing number of divorces in society and how tolerance levels have changed.

“Why should I blame social media? Basically, over time, people’s tolerance has decreased. I believe that. I’ve heard some people say, ‘I was born to put up with this’, but in any relationship, even at work, not every colleague is someone you click with,” she said when asked about issues in marriages and if social media has played any role in it.

“You have to compromise a little bit somewhere… you have to tolerate something. There are some things you just can’t tolerate. There are lines you don’t cross, and the same applies to marriage… you set your own boundaries.”

The Zindagi Gulzar Hai actress emphasised how people now draw clearer boundaries in their relationship.

“Tolerance is reducing among people. Just a small thing and people can’t tolerate it… both men and women. Women have become financially secure. They know they can earn for themselves and live their life. The stigma around it has decreased,” she said.

The Humsafar actress further reflected on emotional abuse, calling it more dangerous than physical abuse. She highlighted how financial independence and education have empowered women to recognise what they should or shouldn’t tolerate.

“What women tolerated in the past, they still do today, but emotional torture destroys self-esteem completely. ‘You are good for nothing’ or ‘you can’t do anything’… that’s very dangerous,” she said.

Hina Bayat also acknowledged that social media, education and upbringing have helped women set boundaries and speak up. She emphasised that both side should work to make relationships work.

“Women were the ones who tolerated. Women were the ones who used to tolerate more and that’s not entirely how it is now. They know what they should tolerate and what they shouldn’t. They’ve become educated. Social media has done this, people have done this. It must have started at home with mothers’ teachings. But many girls have learned from their mothers that this shouldn’t be done and they saw their mothers struggle.”

Hina Bayat also starred in drama such as, ‘Jhumka Jaan’, ‘Ishq Gumshuda’ , ‘Uraan’, ‘Humsafar’, Mata-e-Jaan Hai Tu’, ‘Khumar’, ‘Jannat say agay’ and ‘Jaan Nisar.’

‘My first husband was abusive, addicted to drugs,’ reveals Dania Enwer

‘Tamasha’ contestant Dania Enwer, who was given the nickname Phuppho, has revealed details about her first divorce.

Recently, she appeared on a morning show where she talked about her marriage and divorce.

“People say that divorce is easy, but when I got divorced, I realised that it was a difficult process for me,” she said, adding that she initially didn’t tell her family that she was going to end her marriage.

“But when they came to know about it, they supported me, saying that now I have made a decision and will stick to it.”

She added, “I got divorced for peace of mind and don’t regret any of my decisions.”

Talking about her ex-husband, she remarked, “Not only did I get peace from the divorce, but people around me also got peace. It would get better, but instead of getting better, things got worse.”

“My ex-husband was not addicted to drugs before marriage, but then gradually became addicted to drugs. He also subjected me to physical violence.”

She said, “I think that drugs are just an excuse; even in drunkenness, what comes out of a person is what one is. It became difficult for me and the children, and then the house and the children were destroyed. The responsibility also fell on me because my first husband was not even earning, and when he needed money, he started beating me.”

Fans are currently loving her acting in Geo TV’s popular drama serial ‘Jaan Nisar.’

Earlier, Dania Enwer’s video was getting a lot of attention on Instagram.

The message encourages fans to stay strong no matter what challenges come their way.
Enwer regularly shares glimpses of her personal and professional life on Instagram, and fans can’t get enough of it.

  • ‘I actually had a nervous breakdown’: Tamkenat Mansoor talks about her divorce

‘I actually had a nervous breakdown’: Tamkenat Mansoor talks about her divorce

Divorce is a traumatic experience for the couple, but especially for women. The recent trend of celebrities talking about divorce is helping women deal with the trauma.

Actress and social media influencer Tamkenat Mansoor recently appeared as a guest on Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast ‘Excuse Me’ where she opened up about her personal life.

The host asked, “The stigma that came with it, especially in our society, there’s an immediate reaction like, Oh, divorced (Talaq Yaftha), how did you deal with that?”

Tamkenat replied, “To be honest, I didn’t have to face much, because of being outspoken. I think a lot of people in my family never said anything to my face or to my parents’ faces because they knew that my family was totally on board with my decision. Secondly, it was my decision. It became entirely mine in the end because I actually had a nervous breakdown, and it was really bad. I had to be taken to a hospital, to a shrink, and you know how sometimes you’re so caught up in your situation that you only see a limited perspective? Like, in this room right now, our field of vision is only a small part. But if someone sees from the outside, they can see the whole room, every corner more clearly.”

Tamkenat shared why she does not bad mouth her ex-husband.
“I don’t think anyone ever ends a relationship happily. I never go into the details. The biggest reason is that I have never spoken badly of their father to my children. I haven’t, and my family hasn’t either. My parents, my siblings, have never spoken badly about him. If my children ever bring up something, we tell them, ‘Son, you shouldn’t speak like that. He is your father and older than you.’ I never wanted to cause them any pain. Secondly, although their father is rarely present, they still see him occasionally,” the actress added.
