The Pyaray Afzal diva revealed that when the director and writer of Laapata, Khizer Idrees approached her for the play, he gave her an open choice to select either of the two parallel female lead characters from the drama. When she read the script she only wanted to do Geeti and didn’t even consider the other role.
The other parallel role of ‘Falak’ is being essayed by Sarah Khan, who is a sports enthusiast and is in love with Ali Rehman Khan’s character, Shams.
After the appreciation that she received as Meenu from Chupke Chupke she wanted to do another lighthearted and fun character hence she insisted that she will play only Geeti’s character.
Ayeza Khan is playing a TikToker in her forthcoming drama Laapata co-starring Sarah Khan, Ali Rehman Khan and Gohar Rasheed. The Mere Paas Tum Ho actress earlier announced her tribute for Mahira Khan in the drama and now she has announced her tribute to the veteran Indian actress Madhuri Dixit.
Ayeza announced the same on her Instagram account. Her character name is Geeti who loves making musical TikTok videos in this Khizer Idrees directorial.
Nida Yasir attended the Mehendi ceremony of Sultana Siddiqui’s grandson. She posted a star studded group selfie on her Instagram stories which featured Ali Rehman Khan, Yasir Nawaz, Nida Yasir, Asad Siddiqui, Kubra Khan, Danish Nawaz, Zara Noor Abbas and Arsalan Naseer.
Nida mentioned that she has attended a Mehendi ceremony after almost 2 years.
