    The internet’s cold heart was won over by a primary teacher who surprised her pupils on their last day by wearing a dress painted by them.

    Heather Stansberry shared the video on her Instagram in which her students were looking delighted at discovering the dress the teacher was wearing under the coat. She explains in the video that she asked the kids to color her white dress.

    She captured their reaction on the day she wore it. It was also their last day with her.

    Little children could be seen coming up to the teacher, hugging her and identifying the art each of them made.
    “The dress reveal!! Such a happy/sad day my heart is so full,” she wrote.


    Since being shared, the video has amassed 1.2 million views. The comment section was filled with much love and admiration. One person wrote this was a beautiful idea.

    “You should wear the dress to these kids’ graduation once they all have forgotten about the drawings,” added another.

    People couldn’t help but adore the gesture. What an incredibly wonderful way to make your students fall in love with art.

    Tiktoker and Instagram influencer Kanwal Aftab was slammed by social media yesterday when during a Q & A on Instagram, the social media star was asked about advice regarding women coping with domestic violence, to which she had responded by saying more women should try to save their marriages and console their husbands rather than seek divorce.

    Founder of Soul Sisters, Kanwal Ahmed, criticised Aftab for encouraging women to fix their abusive husbands by laying the blame of a broken marriage on them.

    After backlash to her statement, Aftab had now uploaded a video where she explained that she was not trying to tell women to endure domestic violence, but was encouraging them to try and work through anger rather than begin demanding divorces.

    After this video, Aftab wrote in an Instagram story that she was deleting the reel, stating she was not promoting or supporting domestic violence.

    Twitter users shared the video on the platform, and criticised the Tiktok star for not understanding the difference between an argument and domestic violence. Couples can have small arguments, and it is perfectly okay to encourage people to work through misunderstandings to overcome them.     Tiktoker Kanwal Aftab slammed for telling 2.8 million followers that women should fix abusive husbands

    Tiktoker and Instagram influencer Kanwal Aftab has been slammed by the internet for telling a fan that women should “support” abusive husbands.

    During a question and answer session on Instagram, Aftab, who has over 2.8 million followers, was asked by a fan how a woman could cope with an abusive husband when she can’t find a good job.

    The influencer responded:

    “Try to support him. Motivate him. Divorce koi rasta nahi hai.”

    This harmful advice was slammed by social media users, especially the Founder of Soul Sisters Pakistan, Kanwal Ahmed, who shared a screenshot of Aftab’s answer and schooled the Tiktoker:

    “Tiktoker Kanwal Aftab with 18.4 MILLION followers wants women to “support” and “motivate” husbands who abuse them. Struggling to understand if that means cheering them on as they punch her? Or leaving a reminder to do it again when they’re done?”

    She also shared another response by Aftab where the user had been asked if she truly meant that women should support husbands while suffering under domestic violence, the Instagram influencer had responded: “Bhain support karien us kay halat ko behtar karne m. Usko sahi karne mein.”

    “Women don’t get married to “fix” abusive men. Or to support and validate their violent behaviour,” Ahmed tweeted.

    Social media users condemned the display of misogyny and schooled the Tiktoker for making irresponsible statements on a public platform.

    It is never the woman’s responsibility to endure something as heinous as domestic violence, and we are also shocked at how our celebrities have no issue in turning a blind eye towards abusive marriages, and consistently tell women to endure rather than leave.

    “Was having a very normal Monday morning until a random guy on Instagram decided to send me a d++k pic. My heartbeat is racing and I am unable to regulate my anger now,’ she wrote while sharing the screenshots of the profile.

    She further wrote that she has informed the man’s employer, leading to some people criticising her for putting the man’s career at risk.

    However, most people came out in support of the woman. In addition, many women came forward to tell their traumatizing experiences of receiving unsolicited dick pictures.

    A video posted on TikTok, featuring a man making a replica of a Hermes Birkin bag for his girlfriend has gone viral.

    Alexander Sway, a realtor from Washington, decided to make the famous bag himself after realising he couldn’t afford the real one to gift to his girlfriend on their anniversary.

    The two videos, titled Handmaking A Birkin For My Girlfriend, have been viewed more than 36 million times. Sway, 32, says he used templates he found online and leather from a local store.

    “My girlfriend always jokes that she wants a luxury bag from Hermes as an anniversary gift,” he said in the first video. “When I looked online at the price of a Birkin, I couldn’t believe it. $100,000 for a bag is crazy, but what was even crazier was instead of paying, I decided to surprise her and make my own.”


    Saying that he thought making the bag was “going to be pretty simple”, Sway spent 60 hours putting together the gift using blueprints he found online.

    He bought the materials from a local leather store, spending $60 on a sheet of black-dyed crocodile leather after admitting he “was not able to find leather that luxury companies use”, and $360 on tools.

    “I thought it was going to be as simple as cutting shapes out and assembling pieces, but right off the bat I made some rookie mistakes and wasted a bunch of good leather,” Sway said. “I finally understand why luxury companies charge so much for these handbags.”

    Sway said the hardest part of making the bag was the sewing.

    “This is very challenging,” he said, “because every hole had to be hand-punched and sometimes the holes had to be punched twice because of how thick the leather was.” He said his fingers went numb during the process.

  • Proposed French bill will require influencers to disclose filters used on their pictures

    A new law proposed by the French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire will soon ban social media influencers from uploading photos without mentioning re-touches or filters they have added to them.

    The new law seeks to curtail cosmetic surgery, keeping in mind its ill effect on the mental health of teenagers. The law states that any new picture or video uploaded will also include the filters added to it in the caption or description, while all promotions of cosmetic surgery will be banned.

    Penalty for revoking this law could include up to two years in prison and $32,525 in fines, while the influencer responsible for breaking the law would also be banned from using social media or profiting from being an influencer.

    Speaking to a French website, Le Maire said that the law was not an attempt to restrict influencers. It was to create a system that protects them as well as consumers.

    This is not the first time France has taken strict measures to tackle the rise of inaccessible beauty standards. In 2017, the country passed a law requiring any commercial photo that has been re-touched to change the model’s body to be labeled as ‘photographie retouchée’ (retouched photograph).

    Celebrities are offering solidarity to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan as attempts to arrest the former Prime Minister continue.

    On Tuesday, police reached Imran Khan’s Zaman Park residence to arrest him with warrants for not appearing at court hearings in Islamabad.
