    Google honours late Moin Akhtar on his 71st birth anniversary

    Google has honoured legendary comedian Moin Akhtar on his 71st birth anniversary with a doodle.

    The veteran artist got fame from Radio Pakistan along with names like Bushra Ansari and Anwer Maqsood. He used to work in plays for radio. Angan-Terha was one of his most popular drama. Loose Talk was a milestone in his career where he featured in over 400 hundred episodes playing different characters.

    Akhtar was awarded the Sitara-i-Imtiaz and Pride of Performance Award in 1996. He died from a heart attack on April 22, 2011, in Karachi.

    Twitter users are angry at Abrar Ul Haq for posting a video of a girl making a roti. The singer turned politician posted a video of the girl on Twitter and wrote, “Right age for the training.”

    Twitter users have expressed their displeasure over the video. Some people are criticising it saying that the video is reinforcing patriarchal gender roles while others are criticising it for letting the girl go near a lit stove.

    Earlier, Abrar ul Haq faced backlash over his is song ā€˜Begum Shak Karti Haā€™, which featured actor Saba Qamar. The song received criticism, with people calling it the copy of the children’s song ā€˜Baby Baby Sharkā€™, which the singer earlier criticised.

    The party followed the theme of Star Wars.

    The couple tied the knot earlier in March in an intimate nikkah ceremony that took place in Islamabad.
