Salman Khan reveals he hasn’t dined out for past 25 years

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has made a surprising revelation about his lifestyle, sharing that he hasn’t eaten dinner outside his home in the past 25 years.

During a conversation at the Red Sea Film Festival in Jeddah two days ago, the Dabangg star opened up about his disciplined routine centered entirely around work and travel.

“It’s been 25 to 26 years since I went out for dinner anywhere,” Salman told the audience. “From home to shooting, shooting to home, and home to airport, airport to hotel and hotel to here (Jeddah), and after this I’ll go back to my shooting once again. That’s just my life.”

The 59-year-old actor explained that most of his life revolves around his family and close friends, though that circle has significantly shrunk over the years.

“Most of my life has been spent among my family and friends. Many of those friends have left, and now only four to five old friends remain,” he said.

Salman clarified that he has no complaints about this lifestyle choice. “I have no objection to this. Either you want to roam around or you want the love and respect from people, and that’s what I work so hard for,” he added.

This marks Salman’s second appearance at the Red Sea Film Festival. During his visit, he attended the Golden Globes gala dinner and mingled with international stars including Idris Elba, Edgar Ramírez, and Johnny Depp.

On the work front, Salman’s latest release Sikandar failed to meet box office expectations. He also appeared in a cameo role in Aryan Khan’s debut web series The Ba***ds of Bollywoodand continued hosting the popular reality show Bigg Boss 19.

The actor will next appear in Battle of Galwan, directed by Apoorva Lakhia.

  • Fact check: Did Balochistan govt blacklist Salman Khan after Balochistan remarks?

Fact check: Did Balochistan govt blacklist Salman Khan after Balochistan remarks?

A social media storm erupted over the weekend after claims surfaced online stating that the government of Balochistan had declared Bollywood superstar Salman Khan a “terrorist” and placed him on the country’s “terror watchlist” following his recent remarks about Balochistan at the Joy Forum 2025 in Riyadh.

However, the alleged document circulating online is fabricated.

The controversy began after a video clip from the Riyadh event went viral in which Salman Khan, sharing the stage with Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan, spoke about the wide popularity of Indian films in the Middle East. The actor said, “If you release a Hindi movie here (in Saudi Arabia), it will be a superhit. Even Tamil, Telugu, or Malayalam films earn a lot because people from different countries live here — there are people from Balochistan, Afghanistan, and Pakistan, all working here.”

The remark in which Balochistan and Pakistan were mentioned separately, drew criticism from some Pakistani social media users, who accused Khan of implying that Balochistan was a separate entity from Pakistan. Soon after, an image of an alleged government notification dated October 16, 2025, began circulating online, claiming that Salman Khan had been added to Pakistan’s Fourth Schedule under the Anti-Terrorism Act as an “Azad Balochistan Facilitator.”

However, no official statement or confirmation of such an action has come from the Balochistan government, Interior Ministry, or any verified Pakistani government accounts. None of Pakistan’s major newspapers or official websites have reported any such move and there are no traces of such notification on official website of Balochistan government.

Several Indian media outlets have also confirmed that the viral document lacks essential features of an official Pakistani notification — such as proper letterhead, reference number, official seals, or verified signatures. Moreover, the document carries factual inconsistencies, including a date mismatch that suggests it was created before Salman Khan even made the alleged remark on October 7.

According to Indian media outlets, the document was first shared by a social media user named Nasir Azeem who had claimed this was an official notification from Balochistaan government, which actually is not true.

In conclusion, the claim that the Balochistan government has declared Salman Khan a terrorist or blacklisted him is completely false. The viral “official” document is doctored, and no such order exists in any government record.

  • Pakistanis bash Salman Khan for referring to Balochistan as separate country in viral video

Pakistanis bash Salman Khan for referring to Balochistan as separate country in viral video

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is facing heavy criticism on social media after a viral video surfaced from his recent appearance at the Joy Forum in Riyadh, where he seemingly referred to Balochistan as a separate country. The remark has stirred controversy, with many accusing the actor of making a factually incorrect statement that serves the agenda of the far-right Indian government.

During an address at the high-profile entertainment conference in the Saudi capital, the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor was speaking about the global popularity of Indian cinema, particularly in the Middle East. In the now-viral video clip, Salman Khan said: “If you release a Bollywood film or any Tamil, Telugu or Malayalam film and release it here, it will be a super hit and earn hundreds of crores here because many people from our countries come here to work. There are people from Balochistan, people from Pakistan and Afghanistan working here.”

The reference to “people from Balochistan” as distinct from those from Pakistan was immediately seized upon by Pakistani netizens, who viewed it as a statement implying that Balochistan, a province of Pakistan that is facing increased terrorism from Indian-backed terrorists, was a separate nation.

The reaction on social media was swift and intense with many users expressing anger over what they perceived as an affront to Pakistan’s territorial integrity.

One user wrote sarcastically: “Salman Khan – An actor turned separatist! If you are Salman Khan, you can separate anything from anywhere except the footpath from the main road. Blackbuck from the Bishnoi community. However, Bhai was successful in separating Vivek Oberoi from Bollywood. His only achievement as a separatist so far.”

Another user commented: “Salman bhai apni khud ki geopolitics khel rahe hai.”

(Salman Bhai is playing his own version of geopolitics.)

Others were more dismissive, suggesting the actor simply misspoke or lacked awareness of the geopolitical implications of his words.

“Acting is his profession. What do you expect from an actor?” another post read.

The Joy Forum, hosted annually in Riyadh, is a major entertainment event that brings together global stars, producers, and influencers from the film, music, and gaming industries. Khan was among several international celebrities invited to attend this year’s edition, which aims to boost Saudi Arabia’s emerging entertainment sector under its Vision 2030 initiative.

It remains unclear whether Salman Khan’s comment was a genuine mistake or a poorly worded attempt to attack Pakistan.

Salman Khan loved Karachi biryani, says veteran comedian Kashif Khan

Veteran Pakistani actor and comedian Kashif Khan has revealed that Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was a big fan of Karachi’s famous biryani and haleem, which Kashif used to personally bring from Burns Road during his frequent visits to Mumbai.

In a candid conversation on the ARY Podcast, Kashif Khan shared intriguing memories from his close ties with the Indian film industry, especially during a time when cultural exchanges between India and Pakistan were more common. He described how he would travel to Mumbai so frequently that it felt like commuting between neighborhoods in Karachi.

He recalled bringing traditional Pakistani dishes for Salman Khan, who developed a fondness for the flavors of Karachi. “I used to take biryani and haleem for Salman from Burns Road and he absolutely loved them,” Kashif said.

During the conversation, Kashif also defended his daughter, TikToker Rabeeca Khan, who was previously ridiculed for claiming that Bollywood legends Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan were fans of her father. “People mocked her, but the reality is many Indian actors did admire my work,” he stated.

Highlighting his past work in India, Kashif noted that he had collaborated extensively with the Indian entertainment industry, more than most Pakistani artists today, but the absence of social media at the time meant much of it went unnoticed. “Those who worked before 2013 didn’t get the online recognition that artists receive now,” he explained.

Kashif said that he often took his family along during his India visits, and that Bollywood’s biggest stars, including Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, showed a genuine interest in meeting them. “They wanted to know about my family. My kids even met them,” he added.

He emphasized how the current political tensions between India and Pakistan have made such cross-border interactions difficult.

On a question about receiving a call from Bollywood greats on Rabeeca Khan’s wedding, he said that neither Salman nor Shah Rukh called to congratulate her, and he believes its better that way. “Even a phone call can cause problems for Indian actors today,” he remarked.

Kashif concluded by expressing nostalgia for those better times. “I value those memories, but times have changed,” he said.

While he admitted that today’s generation does not know about Kashif Khan the comedian but they do know him as Rabeeca’s father.

Kashif Khan has worked in various Indian projects, including a comedy show called India Best Comedy.

Salman Khan opens up about his desire to ‘become father one day’

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has recently opened up about his past relationships and the desire to have children some day.

In an appearance on the newly-launched talk show Two Much With Kajol and Twinkle, Salman reflected on why his past relationships didn’t work out. “When a partner grows more than the other partner, that is when differences start coming in. That’s when the insecurity starts setting in and so they both need to grow together,” he explained.

“Both need to get off each other’s backs. I believe in that.”

Aamir Khan, who was also a guest, interrupted to ask more directly about Salman’s romantic history. To this, the Tiger 3 actor responded with a touch of his trademark, “Yaar, nahi jama toh nahi jama [If it didn’t work, it didn’t work]. If there is anyone to blame, I am the one to blame.”

The highlight of the conversation, however, came when Salman expressed his heartfelt desire to become a father. “Children, I will have, one day, soon,” he said, offering a rare glimpse into his personal aspirations. When host Twinkle Khanna asked, “Really? When?” Salman replied casually, “Whenever,” leaving the door wide open for speculation.

Despite years of media speculation around his marriage and personal life, Salman has maintained that fatherhood remains a dream he still wishes to fulfill, even if it happens without marriage. He dismissed the idea of adoption when asked, saying, “Na, never.”

Kajol asked if he wanted to pass on the Khan name to future generations. Salman said, “What legacy? What have we done? It’s not like we’ve delivered rocket science.”

Kajol also recalled meeting Salman when she was just 12 years old, jokingly calling him “uncle”. Aamir spoke about how his bond with Salman deepened after his divorce, with the two spending long evenings together in quiet companionship. They also discussed parenting, with Salman commenting on how kids tend to stay closer to their mothers.

“Kids get closer to their mom’s side… ghar bhi chalana parta hai bhai [You also have to run the house, brother],” he added with a laugh.

Salman Khan has reportedly been in multiple relationships over the years, including with several leading ladies from Bollywood. He has often faced questions about his plans to get married, but has consistently dodged the topic or responded indirectly.
