    Urwa Hocane says meeting Saima Noor is a ‘fan moment for the books’

    Actress Urwa Hocane has shared a heartfelt moment with her followers, revealing her admiration for Lollywood icon Saima Noor in a touching Instagram post.

    Urwa described the encounter as a dream come true, recalling how she had grown up watching Saima’s films. 

    “A fan moment for the books! From watching Saima jee in Choorian countless times to meeting her today and chatting with her, it is one whoa moment for me!” Urwa wrote.

    She went on to praise Saima Noor for her kindness and elegance. “Such beauty and grace inside out,” she added, calling the veteran her “forever silver-screen heroine inspiration.”

    Saima Noor, celebrated for her prolific career in Punjabi cinema and her iconic role in Choorian, remains a beloved figure in the industry. Known for her charisma and humility, she continues to inspire a new generation of actors, including Urwa Hocane, who was clearly left in awe after their meeting.

    Saima is currently starring in the drama serial Main Manto Nahin Hon alongside Sajal Aly, Humayun Saeed, Babar Ali, Asif Raza Mir and Sanam Saeed.

    Farhan, Urwa address ‘separation’ reports after years of silence

    Married in 2016, singer-actor Farhan Saeed and actress Urwa Hussain are among the country’s most beloved celebrity couples.

    In 2020, however, rumours circulated about a possible separation. The two never confirmed nor dismissed the speculations.

    In an interview with the Sunday Times, the pair have broke their silence since their patch-up.

    “One thing I really respect about her [Urwa] and what went really right in our situation was that despite whatever happened, we didn’t say or did anything to harm each other,” Farhan said.

    As a guide to couples and couples-to-be, he said that “the biggest turn-off for any companion,” even if it is two friends or a relationship, is to talk “behind their back.”

    Urwa added that while displeasure can exist, respect must be maintained at all times—something the two maintained while they were separated.

    “Which is why we were and are always able to resolve things,” she said, to which Farhan agreed.

    Urwa also asserted that amid the low points in a relationship, at times of misunderstanding,, “if you emerge out of it, I feel like you come back stronger” 

    To this Farhan said, “Rise in love, as they say.”

    Imagine celebrating New Year’s eve at the world’s tallest building (Burj Khalifa), meeting celebrities, and sharing unforgettable moments with your fans. That is  exactly how actress Urwa Hocane welcomed in 2025.

    To kick off the New Year in style, Urwa Hocane traveled to Dubai with her husband Farhan Saeed to celebrate at one of the most iconic landmarks in the world: the Burj Khalifa.

    Sharing the fun she had with fans, the Parizaad actress posted stunning pictures from the iconic tower on her Instagram account.

    After celebrating the New Year, Urwa Hocane went to a Qawwali night at the Burj Khalifa, where famous Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan amazed the audience with his beautiful music. The event brought together both Indian and Pakistani stars, along with many locals from Dubai who joined the celebration.

    During the event, Urwa Hocane had the opportunity to meet Bollywood star Kriti Sanon. The two posed for a picture together, which quickly went viral on social media, captivating fans from both sides of the border.

    The Udaari actress also took a picture with Indian actor Vivek Oberoi.As Pakistan, like rest of the world, steps into 2025 with renewed energy and hopes of change and prosperity, celebrities too have shared heartfelt messages with the commitment to embrace the new year with positive vibes.

    Earlier, actress Mahira Khan reflected on the highs and lows of 2024 with an emotional note on Instagram.

    “When you came, it felt like you would never end.. every moment felt like forever.. and now when you’re ending it feels like time just flew. That’s the thing about happiness and sadness, highs and lows.. it all passes. Nothing stays the same forever. Little moments of joy though.. they remain the same. And those are to be made the most out of. I learnt so much this year.. felt so much this year. More than anything I learnt so much about myself and by the end of the year felt so much like myself [sic],” she wrote.

    The Humsafar actress expressed gratitude for her personal growth over the past year and ended with an optimistic outlook for the future.

    “When I look back, I will remember this you as the year of faith, looking ahead always… but do put in a good word for me with 2025,” she concluded.

    Veteran actor Adnan Siddqui added a touch of humor to his New Year’s wish by sharing a video message.

    “Ah, 2025! A brand-new year, already judging us for the promises we probably won’t keep. But that’s the charm of life — it’s messy, unpredictable, and still worth every second. Here’s to another year of winging it with style. Happy New Year!” he said.

    Actress Sarah Khan shared a picture of herself in a black dress with the caption: “Pouring my heart and soul into this, with my vision board behind me. This is the moment when I take the inspiration and goals visually represented in front of me and bring them to life. 2025, lets do this! PS. The song represents my feelings right now [sic].”

    Veteran actress Reema Khan also extended her warm wishes through a heartfelt video message, captioning its: “Happy New Year 2025! May this year bring us endless joy, success, respect and cherished moments with our loved ones. May Allah guide us to choose the right path Ameen .”

    Actress Hiba Bukhari posted a video collage summarising her memorable moments from 2024. “So much happened this year… thanking you all for your love. Saying goodbye to 2024 thanking Allah for a blissful year, and wishing the best to everyone for 2025 ,” she wrote and asked fans to remember her in their prayers.

    Mawra Hocane also expressed her excitement for the new year with a sweet message. “Grateful to be witnessing yet another new year… 2025 I’m looking forward ✨♾ .”

    She went on to wish everyone a happy new year.

    Urwa Hussain and singer/actor Farhan Saeed have become proud parents to their first baby girl. They shared the happy news on Instagram in a joint post.

    The tiny bundle of joy, named Jahan Aara was born on January 3, 2024. Urwa Hocane has written a beautiful note on becoming a mother.

    The famous couple announced in October 2023 that they were expecting their first child.

    Urwa and Farhan got married in December 2016. Like most famous couples, the two have been hounded by rumors of separation. Neither of them directly spoke about it.

    Urwa Hocane speaks out after being labelled as ‘difficult to work with’ by director Nadeem Baig

    Nadeem Baig made national headlines when, on talk show ‘The Fourth Umpire’, he was asked which actress was the most difficult to work with on set, and he revealed it was Urwa Hocane.

    Hocane and Baig was worked together in ‘Punjab Nahi Jaungi’ in 2017.

    Now, Hocane has responded in a post on Friday where she addressed the allegation that she was ‘difficult’ by revealing her side of the story:

    “Nadeem bhai and I have only done one project together and had one difference of opinion about the song ‘Lak Hilna’ where we eventually went with his aesthetics, choice of song and dance step as I sensed he was unwilling to hold a discussion probably because as a society we have become so intolerant to difference of opinion, specially when it’s a woman.”

    Hocane revealed that despite being trolled heavily for the past few days since Baig’s comment on the show, she had never thrown him under the bus out of respect for him.

    “Despite being extremely trolled for the song I never threw my director under the bus out of respect for him. I am so hurt with how my personality is being misrepresented publicly merely for holding a healthy discussion on set which I believe is a basis to team work while in all these years it was never pointed out to me in person.”
