Zara Noor Abbas responds to speculation about Sajal Aly

Actor Zara Noor Abbas Siddiqui spoke candidly about her career, personal growth, and industry friendships during an appearance on the Excuse Me with Ahmed Ali Butt podcast. One of the most anticipated topics of the conversation was her relationship with fellow actor Sajal Aly, which has been the subject of public speculation following their brief social media fallout.

When host Ahmed Ali Butt asked directly about Aly, Siddiqui responded, “She is doing well.” Butt followed up immediately, asking, “Acha? How long has it been since you guys talked?” Siddiqui confirmed that they had spoken recently, prompting Butt to laugh and call it a “lie.”

The actor addressed the speculation, saying, “Okay, I can’t understand how people think that if two have unfollowed each other then that means they don’t talk to each other,” highlighting the disconnect between social media actions and real-life relationships.

Siddiqui reflected on the nature of friendships in the entertainment industry, noting that public perception often oversimplifies complex dynamics. She said, “I think it is easier, to point fingers at the person who is most flamboyant in the room, to say that ‘He is the killer’, so it is very easy, and I have always had that ‘she is the killer, she said it’ vibe.” She added that both she and Aly have simply entered different phases of life: “I think we have gone into many different scenarios now.”

The conversation then expanded to industry culture and networking. Siddiqui acknowledged the gossip-driven environment actors often face, saying, “I think everybody talks about everybody.”

She added that her approach to visibility has evolved, and she no longer feels the same pressure to constantly “grind” as newcomers do. She highlighted the importance of being cautious in forming relationships within the industry.

Siddiqui also discussed gender dynamics in professional friendships, stating, “Men are better friends than girls.” She explained that proximity within the same field can complicate female friendships: “The moment they are in the vicinity of your field or any such interaction, the whole room changes, the energy changes, and then you’re like what is happening, but men don’t have that.”

She admitted that failed friendships have left a lasting impact, repeatedly emphasising that she would now avoid certain friendships.

  • ‘Don’t argue with a toddler’s mother’; Zara Noor Abbas has heated exchange in restaurant

‘Don’t argue with a toddler’s mother’; Zara Noor Abbas has heated exchange in restaurant

Actress Zara Noor Abbas recently shared a personal incident on her Instagram story, revealing how a dinner outing with her friends and toddler turned into an uncomfortable confrontation.

According to Zara, she was at a family restaurant when her daughter’s excited screams seemed to bother three people seated at the next table. She recalled that one woman gave her a “dead stare” while a man tried to hush her child.

“I sent my daughter to the side and stood up to ask if there was anything wrong,” she wrote. The group allegedly told her that her child was disturbing them and suggested she shouldn’t have brought her to the restaurant, adding that it was past the toddler’s bedtime and she should be taught “basic manners.”

When Zara asked if they had children, they replied no. She explained to them that handling a toddler in public is not easy and her daughter was not misbehaving on purpose. Their response, according to Zara, was that she should get up and leave the restaurant whenever her child makes noise.

The argument reportedly lasted around 15 minutes before the manager apologized to Zara and the group left. However, she expressed disappointment that no one from the crowd stepped in to support her despite it being a family restaurant.

“Maybe this is exactly why we are dead as a community. We watch. We turn our heads. But we sit and eat until it’s our problem,” Zara wrote. She ended her note by reminding people without children to be mindful when visiting family restaurants and not to argue with mothers over “manners.”

‘We never clapped on someone dying’; Zara Noor Abbas condemns Indian strikes

Pakistani actress Zara Noor Abbas has spoken out about the wave of messages from Indian social media users following India’s recent missile strikes on Pakistan.

In an Instagram video, Zara expressed her disappointment over messages celebrating the death of a child in Pakistan. She noted that Pakistanis had condemned the Pahalgam attack in India, stating, “Everyone from our country condemned it over and over again.”

She questioned the ethics of celebrating civilian deaths, saying, “We never cheered for someone dying. You all are doing that.”

Zara stressed that terrorism is a universal issue, remarking, “A terrorist is a terrorist, Muslim, Hindu, Bengali, Israeli. Anyone who kills in the name of religion is wrong.”

She also criticised misinformation being spread by Indian media, including false reports claiming that Karachi Port had been destroyed.

She urged an end to the glorification of war, highlighting its human toll: “At the end of the day, it’s a soldier’s mother, wife or child who suffers. No one else.”

Her remarks follow India’s “Operation Sindoor,” launched on May 7, which targeted nine sites in Pakistan. India claimed the strikes were aimed at “terrorist infrastructure” in response to the April 22 attack in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir that killed 26 tourists. India, however, has failed to provide any evidence to prove its claims against Pakistan.

Pakistan condemned the strikes as an “act of war.”

Zara’s video has drawn widespread attention, with many Pakistanis expressing support for her message.

Indian users also left comments denouncing the violence and showing solidarity, including: “We don’t support this violence,” and “We condemn what India has done.”
