‘Just one day apart’: Mawra Hocane misses husband Ameer Gilani while travelling

Distance makes the heart grow fonder and Mawra Hocane is proving it with every beat. The beloved actress is currently in the United States to attend the 10th Hum Awards, but despite the glittering event ahead, her heart seems to be elsewhere- with her husband Ameer Gilani.

Taking to her Instagram account, Mawra shared a heartwarming compilation video of their sweetest moments together, writing with a playful sigh: “Kya mazak hai yaar, aik din hua hai travel ko and you start missing the mister already – matlab mein kuch nahi kar sakti ab? @ameergilani”

It’s only been a day since she left, but the ache of separation is real. Their fans couldn’t agree more. One admirer messaged her: “Never manifested a celebrity couple before the way I root for these two. I genuinely pray you both stay loyal and true to each other forever.”

To that, Mawra responded with a simple, heartfelt: “Aameen!”

While fans first saw their incredible chemistry on screen in the 2020 drama Sabaat, Mawra and Ameer’s connection goes back further. Their first encounter wasn’t on a set, it was in law school. Mawra once shared how Ameer quietly helped her out when she forgot her wallet before an exam. Years later, destiny brought them together again on the set of Sabaat, where a quiet moment of Ameer praying left a lasting impression on her heart.

After years of friendship and growing affection, Mawra and Ameer made their relationship official. They tied the knot on February 5, this year, in an intimate ceremony held at Lahore Fort. The actress later posted dreamy wedding photos, captioned: “And in the middle of chaos… I found you. BISMILLAH 5.2.25 #MawraAmeerHoGayi”

Since then, the two have become the epitome of “couple goals,” sharing glimpses of their everyday joy with fans. From studying and filming together to traveling and celebrating milestones.

Their most recent celebration was Mawra’s 33rd birthday, which the couple turned into a week-long affair. “Mrs. Thirty Free,” she playfully called herself, as they hosted a series of mini-celebrations throughout September, ending with a grand black-and-white themed birthday party on the 28th.
