Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is known as ‘King Khan’ for a reason, and his wealth now rivals that of royalty, as he has become the richest entertainer in the world.
According to the Hurun Rich List, Shah Rukh is now officially a billionaire with an estimated wealth of $1.4 billion (approximately PKR 395.5 billion).
The 59-year-old actor has now surpassed several international icons in wealth, including Taylor Swift ($1.3 billion), Arnold Schwarzenegger ($1.2 billion), Jerry Seinfeld ($1.2 billion) and Selena Gomeza ($720 million).
His fortune comes from a diverse portfolio of ventures spanning the entertainment, sports, real estate and tech industries. A significant source of his wealth is Red Chillies Entertainment, the production company he co-founded in 2002. The company has since grown into a full-fledged media powerhouse with verticals in film production, visual effects, content distribution and post-production services.
Shah Rukh also co-owns the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) franchise in the Indian Premier League (IPL) – a team valued at hundreds of millions of dollars. His real estate portfolio includes his iconic Mumbai residence Mannat, a luxury villa in Beverly Hills, properties in London and Dubai, and a farmhouse in Alibaug.
Apart from films and business, the actor remains one of the highest-paid brand ambassadors in India with lucrative endorsements across fashion, technology and finance industries.
His continued dominance at the box office, with back-to-back blockbusters in recent years, has only strengthened his position as a global icon. In 2023 and 2024, films like Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki were a huge success.
The Hurun Rich List has also highlighted the net worth of other Bollywood celebrities such as Juhi Chawla and family ($93.5 million) and Hrithik Roshan, who holds the third spot among Indian actors with wealth amounting to $25.9 million.
