Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan recently met Bhajan Singh Rana, the rickshaw driver who took him to the hospital after being attacked by an intruder with a knife at his Bandra house in Mumbai.
On January 16, around 3 am, a robbery attempt was made at Khan’s house, which the actor resisted and foiled. After sustaining injuries, he was taken to a local hospital in a rickshaw instead of his family car.
The Bollywood actor was discharged from the hospital yesterday.
He later met Rana, who had helped save his life, at the hospital. According to reports, Khan, his mother, and others were present during the meeting to thank the rickshaw driver.
Saif Ali Khan also took pictures with Rana. Speaking about the meeting, the rickshaw driver said, “I was taken to Saif Ali Khan’s room through the emergency gate, wearing a mask, and there Saif sat next to me. All the family members thanked me.”
Regarding money, Rana shared that Saif jokingly said, “I couldn’t give you money that day, but you’ll get it. And if you ever need help in life, the doors of my house are always open.”
Pep Guardiola, the manager of Premier League club Manchester City, has accepted that his team did not deserve to win after a 4-2 defeat against Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League.
The loss at Parc des Princes puts City’s hopes of reaching the play-offs in danger.
City started strong, leading 2-0 by the 53rd minute with goals from Jack Grealish and Erling Haaland. However, PSG fought back, with Ousmane Dembele and Bradley Barcola equalising before Joao Neves and Goncalo Ramos sealed the victory for the home side.
Speaking to TNT Sports, Guardiola said, “They were better. They were quicker, faster. They won the duels with the ball. They had one moment in the middle, and we could not cope with that. They are fast. I accepted the defeat because the best team won. If we don’t win, we don’t deserve it.”
Guardiola added, “We couldn’t control the game, keep possession, or defend the result. They attacked better, and that made it harder for us.”
The result leaves City in 25th place, two points behind the play-off spots, with only one game remaining in the league phase.
Guardiola admitted their chances now depend on beating Club Brugge in the final match.
The loss is City’s third in their last four Champions League games. Despite a recent six-game unbeaten run, their form in this competition has been inconsistent.
City now face a must-win situation in their last match to keep their Champions League dreams alive.

Saad-Ur-Rehman, publicly known as Ducky Bhai, one of Pakistan’s biggest YouTubers, recently found himself in the spotlight after rumours of his arrest surfaced. Reports claimed he was taken into custody for comments about politics, while his wife, Aroob Jatoi, allegedly posted pictures with a gun on social media.
Initially, the couple did not address the situation, leaving fans speculating.
In a recent vlog, Ducky Bhai dispelled the rumours, stating, “All the news was fake.” He clarified that no FIR was filed, no arrest pictures existed, and neither he nor his wife had been arrested.
While Ducky acknowledged that something serious had occurred, he emphasized that the reports were entirely false. Due to certain circumstances, he avoided sharing specific details but assured fans the rumours were baseless.
The statement has cleared much of the confusion, though questions remain about what truly happened. For now, Ducky Bhai and Aroob Jatoi maintain that they are not involved in any criminal activities.
Earlier, Pakistani famous YouTuber Ducky Bhai (Saad Ur Rehman) and his wife Aroob Jatoi had been arrested for displaying weapons on social media.
According to the details, Aroob posted pictures on her Instagram account displaying illegal weapons, after which police arrested the couple from Bahria Town. The famous social media couple has also been accused of promoting Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) slogans against the government.
According to Samaa News, the couple blamed each other during the investigation. Aroob posted a picture on her Instagram and accused Ducky of being responsible.
Ducky has over eight million subscribers on YouTube, while his daily viewership is in the millions.
A fistfight broke out on Wednesday between Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ikhtiar Wali Khan and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Naeem Haider Panjutha during a live appearance on a private news channel. A video capturing the brawl has since gone viral on social media.
The confrontation commenced when Ikhtiar Wali Khan raised questions about who is the father of Tyrian White, allegedly the daughter of former Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan, who the former Premier has not officially acknowledged.
“[…] Nawaz Sharif has no character. He was an absconder while Imran Khan stood firm,” Panjutha shouted. “Who is Tyrian? Who is Tyrian?” repeatedly asked the PML-N leader in reply.
Ikhtiar repeatedly pressed Panjutha on the matter and referred to Tyrian as Khan’s illegitimate daughter. When Panjutha retaliated with harsh remarks against Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz Sharif; the PML-N leader lost his temper, leading to the physical altercation.
Ikhtiar and Panjutha can be seen throwing punches at each other in the viral clip, and the fight only ends when crew members rush to intervene and defuse the situation.
Meanwhile, political talk show host Fizza Akbar constantly urged both politicians to calm down.
Minutes after the physical brawl, the PTI leader, in an interview, stated that if anyone talks negatively about Imran Khan’s family, he should be ready to face the consequences.
The PML-N leader took to X (formerly Twitter) hours after the physical brawl, saying, “A PTI leader hurled abuses, and then I raised my hand. They hurl abuses at the daughter of my leader in front of me, and we respond with arguments? That would be cowardice.”
It was not the first time that politicians have engaged in physical altercations on a television show.
On September 2023, PTI’s Sher Afzal Marwat and PML-N’s Senator Afnan Ullah came to blows after exchanging hot words during the recording of a talk show.
After exchanging harsh words, both politicians started throwing punches at each other. The clash became so intense that both leaders ended up on the floor. TV staff had to step in to separate the two.
In June 2021, a similar incident occurred when Firdous Ashiq Awan, who is currently out of the political scene after leaving PTI to join the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP), slapped Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Member National Assembly (MNA) Qadir Khan Mandokhail.
Things became heated when the PPP leader mentioned Awan’s comments about the train tragedy; in a press conference shortly after, she had allegedly said that “by the Grace of God” this was the first train accident during the PTI’s rule.
“Your statement was akin to pouring salt on someone’s wounds,” he said, to which Awan claimed that her statement had been misconstrued. From there, the two continued to butt heads as the host watched on. When arguments turned heated, Awan physically attacked and slapped Mandokhail.

A video of Danish politician Anders Vistisen swearing at newly-elected US President Donald Trump and telling him to “f*** off” has been circulating online.
In his speech, he said, “Dear President (Donald) Trump. Listen very carefully. Greenland has been part of the Danish kingdom for 800 years. It’s an integrated part of our country. It is not for sale. Let me put it in words you might understand: Mister Trump, f*** off.”
Vice President Nicolae Stefanuta rebuked the Danish politician for using profane language in the European Parliament while discussing the new US administration. “In this house of democracy… regardless of what we think of Mister Trump, it is not possible to use such language,” Nicolae told him.
Vistisen is a member of the right-wing Patriots for Europe group and responded to President Trump’s remarks concerning the control of Greenland to ensure international security.
The American president has expressed interest in making Greenland, an autonomous territory of Denmark, a part of the US since his re-election in November last year. However, he has not announced any plans to use military or economic power to persuade Denmark to hand it over.
Trump has also expressed interest in Canada, suggesting it could become one of the American states. He even posted an AI-generated map of America showing Canada as part of the country.
This infuriated many Canadians, including Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who posted on X (formerly Twitter), “There isn’t a snowball’s chance in hell that Canada would become part of the United States.”
Actress Sabeena Farooq is advocating for seven-year-old Sarim, who was tragically murdered after being subjected to sexual assault. She posted a story on Instagram, urging the authorities to take action.
In her post, Sabeena wrote, “This as much as we can so the authorities take action. I request the Sindh government to investigate & punish the culprit behind this bcz enough of this already. The kid was only 7!!!!”
The autopsy report of Sarim, who went missing from North Karachi on January 7 and was found after 11 days, revealed that he was subjected to sexual assault before being murdere.
Media reports indicate that the police are now treating the case as a murder investigation. Sarim’s body was found in an underground water tank of a high-rise building in Bilal Colony’s Anam Apartments.
Sarim was a student at Madrasah Al Quran and went to his seminary on January 7 but never returned. His father, Parvez, went to the seminary to inquire about his son and was told that Sarim had left for home at 3:40 pm. On his way back, Parvez found Sarim’s gloves on the stairs inside a mosque.
After an extensive search, the police found Sarim’s body in a water tank on January 18. The autopsy revealed that the injuries on his body suggested it was “not an accidental death”.
Initially, the police investigated the possibility of foul play or assault and considered the chance that the water tank was not properly covered, which might have caused Sarim to fall inside if he was playing nearby. However, the autopsy report later confirmed that Sarim was raped.
The report detailed that Sarim had suffered 12 different injuries on various parts of his body, and “all are antemortem (prior to death) except one injury.” Although his body was found after 11 days, the examination confirmed that he had died “approximately four to five days” before the post-mortem.
These revelations have raised concerns about the police’s investigation skills, as it is now clear that Sarim was alive at least a week after his kidnapping.
DIG-West Irfan Ali Baloch stated that the exact cause and time of death are yet to be confirmed by doctors, and he had not received the reports in this regard. He also mentioned that the police had taken a teacher of the seminary into custody, and his DNA samples were taken for cross-matching with the victim’s samples.
Residents of Sarim’s neighborhood expressed shock over his recovery, stating that law enforcement had checked the tank twice during the search but failed to find any sign of the child. Some speculated that the child’s body may have remained submerged and surfaced over time.
