Cody Rhodes is scheduled to make an appearance on the Red brand ahead of the Royal Rumble. He signed the contract for his ladder match against Kevin Owens during Saturday night’s main event; Shawn Michaels moderated the signing.

Rhodes relinquished his claim to the undisputed WWE title. This will now hang high above the ring for the ladder match on February 1. The Winged Eagle title that Kevin Owens had also relinquished will be hung above the ring along with the undisputed title at Lucas Oil Stadium.

 

Sami Zayn vs. Drew McIntire

After the fate that had come to pass last week, Sami Zayn had conjured into existence the urgency to settle the disputes against Drew McIntyre inside the wrestling ring. Zayn has yet to defeat McIntyre, and the two stars will square off again on the January 27 show.
