Renowned actor Sajid Hassan has addressed the media regarding his son Sahir Hassan’s involvement in the Mustafa Aamir murder case.

Speaking to reporters, Sajid Hassan expressed his grief over the incident, saying, “The murder is a heartbreaking tragedy, and I express my sympathy to Mustafa Aamir’s family.”

He added, “Since I heard Mustafa’s mother’s message, I have been unable to sleep. Mustafa was like my own son.”

He emphasised that he wants justice for all those affected by the case, stating, “I only want justice to be done, not only for my son but for all the families connected to this case.”

Sajid Hassan also voiced his concerns over his son’s treatment by the media and the public. “My son has been declared guilty before the investigation is complete. I am not defending his actions, but I am only demanding a fair legal process,” he said.

He revealed the toll this ordeal has taken on his family, sharing, “We have become completely isolated socially during this difficult time. Even our relations with neighbours have deteriorated, and there are difficulties at work.”

Addressing the broader issue, he remarked, “My son’s mistakes should not be used to divert attention from the murder case.”

He expressed his faith in the judiciary, stating, “I trust the courts, and I want the truth to come out, no matter how painful it may be.”

Hollywood icon Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa, were found dead at their home in Santa Fe, New Mexico, on Wednesday, authorities confirmed. Hackman, 95, was a highly respected actor, best known for his roles in The French Connection, Superman, and Unforgiven.

The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office said deputies discovered the couple at their Sunset Trail residence in the afternoon. Their dog was also found dead.

Sheriff Adan Mendoza stated, “This is an active investigation. At this time, we do not believe foul play was a factor.”

However, officials have not yet confirmed the cause of death and are awaiting a search warrant as part of the investigation.

Gene Hackman had a career spanning six decades and won two Academy Awards—Best Actor for The French Connection (1971) and Best Supporting Actor for Unforgiven (1992). He also won two BAFTAs, four Golden Globes, and a Screen Actors Guild Award.

His breakthrough role came in Bonnie and Clyde (1967), earning him his first Oscar nomination. He later received additional nominations for I Never Sang for My Father (1970) and Mississippi Burning (1988). Some of his other famous films include The Conversation (1974), Runaway Jury (2003), and The Royal Tenenbaums (2001).

Hackman’s last film was Welcome to Mooseport (2004), after which he retired from acting.

Born in California in 1930, Hackman joined the U.S. Marine Corps at just 16 and served for four and a half years. After leaving the military, he trained as an actor at the Pasadena Playhouse, where he formed a lifelong friendship with Dustin Hoffman.

Despite his fame, Hackman remained humble and once said, “I was trained to be an actor, not a star. I was trained to play roles, not to deal with fame.”

News of Hackman’s passing has left Hollywood and his fans in shock. Many have taken to social media to pay tribute to one of the greatest actors of all time.

Authorities are expected to provide more details about the couple’s deaths in the coming days.

Popular YouTuber Rajab Butt and seven others have been booked for allegedly threatening TikToker Umer Fayyaz Butt. The case was filed after Rajab Butt, Mann Dogar, and Haider Shah, along with armed men, reportedly arrived at Umer Fayyaz’s house early in the morning.

Umer Fayyaz filed a complaint against Rajab Butt and his group, claiming that Mann Dogar used abusive language and issued threats during a TikTok live session. Umer called it an attack on his dignity and demanded legal action.

The police have confirmed that a case has been registered and that legal proceedings are underway. Rajab Butt, known for his family vlogs, has faced legal trouble before, including another case in Karachi.

According to viewers, the fight started during a TikTok live session when Umer Butt used foul language about Rajab Butt’s mother and sister while speaking to Mann Dogar.
