    Nabeel Qureshi pays homage to legendary Bollywood actor Om Puri

    Eight years have passed since the death of legendary Bollywood actor Om Puri, but for director Nabeel Qureshi, the memories of working with him are still fresh.

    The Pakistani director took to Instagram to remember Puri on the eighth anniversary of his passing, and shared how hard it still was for him to believe that the icon was gone.

    “It’s been almost 8 years now—January 5, 2017, was the day the legendary Om Puri left this world. I still can’t believe he’s gone. I had the rare privilege of working with him very early in my career. I was just 30 when I got the chance to direct this extraordinary actor, someone whose craft was larger than life, yet whose heart was even bigger [sic],” he wrote in an emotional Instagram post, sharing memories of their time together.

    The Quaid-e- Azam Zindabad director described the late actor not just as a talented performer but as a warm and caring individual who left a deep impact on those around him.

    “My connection with him went far beyond work. The bond we built while working together remains one of the most cherished chapters of my life. Om Puri Ji was so loving, caring, and full of warmth — a compassionate human being above all else,” Qureshi said.

    He also recalled the unforgettable moments they shared in Pakistan, India and Dubai, with Puri’s hospitality and love for food leaving a lasting mark.

    Qureshi also reflected on the wisdom Puri shared with him and producer Fizza Meerza. “We miss him deeply. Om Puri Ji was a man beyond borders, an artist who stood for peace and humanity.”

    “May his soul rest in eternal peace. His legacy continues to inspire us, and his memories will forever be etched in our hearts,” he concluded.

    Nabeel Qureshi has directed film such as, Na Maloom Afraad, Actor in Law, Na Maloom Afraad 2, Load Wedding, Khel Khel Meun, Quaid- e- Azam Zindabad, Jin Mahal, and his recent was Na Baligh Afraad.

    Indian actor Om Puri (19 October 1950 – 06 January 2017) known for his performance in mainstream Hindi film as well as Urdum Malayalam, Bengali, Kannada, English, Punjab, Gujarati, Telegu, and Marathi films. He has aslo won Padma Shri, Indian’s forth highest civilian honor in 1990.

     Om Puri’s remarkbale career includes starring in several in several iconic films such as Kalla Kalla Bachitko, Chor Chor Chhupka, Ghasjiram Kotwall, Godhuli, Saanch Ko Aanch Nahin,Bahu Ki Awaaz, Aatank Hi Aatank, Brother in Trouble, Target, Tarpan and Kartayya.

    The British actor, 28, went down on one knee “in a very intimate setting in one of Zendaya’s family homes in the United States,” TMZ said.

    “We’re told Tom didn’t make a huge show of the engagement — it wasn’t a big, over-the-top proposal — instead, it was very romantic and intimate.

    “Our sources say the family wasn’t there… it was just a sweet moment between Tom and Zendaya.”

     Facing repeated death threats, Bollywood stars are taking big steps for safety.

    Bollywood superstar Salman has taken strict security measures at his Mumbai home following repeated death threats.

    As per Indian media reports, the Ek Tha Tiger actor has installed bulletproof glass and electric fence around his Galaxy Apartment. These precautions were taken after the recent murder of Indian politician Baba Siddique.

    Pictures of Salman Khan’s home showing the new security arrangement have surfaced on social media, highlighting the heightened measure. Additionally the security at Salman’s farmhouse in Maharashtra has also been increased. 

    Reports confirm that the government has provided Salman Khan with Y-plus security, which includes armed police personnel and a police vehicle accompanying him at all times.

     Earlier, Bollywood star Salman Khan is once again facing death threats, with an unknown person demanding a ransom of two crore rupees.

    Reports printed in Indian media have said that WhatsApp messages sent to the Mumbai Traffic Police stated, “Salman Khan will be killed if the money is not paid.”

    After the fresh threat, a case has been registered against the unknown person who sent the WhatsApp messages while police search for the suspect.

    According to reports, the 20-year-old had threatened to kill Zeeshan Siddiqui along with Salman Khan.

    Khan’s close friend, Muslim politician, Baba Siddiqui was killed in Mumbai this month.

    The Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for Baba Siddiqui’s murder. Apart from this, incidents of firing outside Salman Khan’s residence have also raised concerns about his safety.

    Indian gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar were reportedly planning to use minors to assassinate Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. Mumbai police unveiled the chilling plot days after foiling another attempted attack on the superstar at his Panvel farmhouse.


    Earlier, according to Indian news agencies, the Navi Mumbai Police have been actively investigating the matter and recently uncovered a video call conversation between Ajay Kashyap, a Lawrence Bishnoi gang member, and Dogar, an alleged accomplice from Pakistan. 

    The conversation revealed that sharpshooters trained under Anmol Bishnoi and Rohit Godara are strategically positioned across Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai, Pune, Raigad, and Gujarat. These sharpshooters, following orders from Goldy Brar, have been instructed to use minors to attack Khan.


    The police also disclosed that 60 to 70 gang members are deployed to monitor the movements of the ‘Tiger 3’ star. A man named John has been specifically tasked with providing a vehicle for the operation.

    Rakhi expressed her intention to marry again and again, stating, “I will stay married until I die until I find the right life partner, till then I will continue to love because this is my life, I have only one life.”

    She continued, “If you go to Hollywood, you’ll see people marrying multiple times, numerous boyfriends, and relationships, and it doesn’t matter there. All the boundaries are only in India.”
    At the beginning of this year, news came out that Rakhi Sawant has married Adil Khan Durrani after accepting Islam last year. Adil denied the marriage, then went silent before finally admitting to the marriage.


    However, with the death of Rakhi’s mother, the news of problems in her marriage began to circulate. Rakhi approached the court for divorce citing Adil Khan’s affairs, physical violence, indecent videos and disputes over money.

    While giving an interview to The Current Life, actress Kubra Khan was asked about her best friend in the industry.

      “My best friend in the industry, yes, it’s Mirza, he’s been my best friend for the past nine years now,” she replied.

    As the rumors swirl, fans expressed their excitement.  One fan posted on Gohar’s Instagram: “So happy for you both.”

    Although the buzz around Kubra Khan being the bride is growing, neither Gohar nor Kubra has confirmed the rumors.

     The Alif actress herself addressed the gossip, mentioning in an interview: “I’m used to it now. I’m wondering if it happens; you guys made it happen. I swear, you guys pushed it so much… But no, it doesn’t bother me anymore, to be honest, because it has been happening for eight years, and eventually now I’m like, yeah, whatever.”

    Online death rumours often target celebrities. In the past such famous A-listers as Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt and Charlize Theron have been victims of the online fake death rumours mill. 

    Imagine being declared dead online, and laughing it off. That’s exactly what Australian YouTuber Luke  Damant did when fake death rumors about him spread across the internet.

    The YouTuber, known for his adventurous travel vlogs and love for cheese parathas, recently became the subject of an unfounded rumor saying that he had passed away in Jalalabad, Afghanistan. 


    In his post, Damant jokingly wrote an obituary about his fake death, saying he turned into a cheese paratha while trying to break a Guinness World Record. 


     “Authorities are still trying to figure out how a man can possibly turn into a cheese paratha, but it is believed that the old saying is true…”  


    He expressed his disbelief over the rumors, saying he couldn’t believe people thought he was dead. 


    “I can’t believe I have to make this post. Guys, I’m f**ng chilling! I’ve been saying for years that the media fakes news, and now, hundreds of thousands of people think I’m dead in a single day,” Luke Damant said.


    While he joked about the viral fake death news, Damant made it clear that he had nothing to do with the rumors. “As much as I’d love to take credit for this genius marketing, I have to call it off. It’s gotten out of hand.”


    The mock obituary humorously detailed how Luke had tragically ‘had his last paratha’  while attempting to break a Guinness World Record for the most cheese parathas eaten in one hour.


     “ After a strong start, getting to 14 within the first 30 minutes of the challenge. It was at number 15, where Luke didn’t chew his paratha, swallowed, and after a 30 second struggle, he magically turned into one,” Luke humourously wrote. 


    Despite the silly rumors, Luke Damant stays positive and keeps traveling, sharing his exciting adventures with his fans.

    According to sources, Neelam’s husband is Muhammad Rashid, who works as an officer of Dubai Police’s Crime Investigation Department.
