    Jahangir Khan wants Humayun Saeed to play him in his biopic

    Squash legend Jahangir Khan has said that if a film was made on his life, the hero should be Humayun Saeed.

    Khan was invited to Shahzad Iqbal’s Jashan-e-Cricket. The Host asked that who is your favourite actor? To which the legendary player replied that he doesn’t watch many films but he likes Abid Ali, Nasir Sahab and Jamshed Ansari from Pakistani dramas. He also mentioned Shehnaz Sheikh’s name as his favourite actress.
    Shahzad further asked: “If a biopic is made on you, who do you think can act well in it?” The host gave him the options of Fahad Mustafa, Fawad Khan, Humayun Saeed and Sheheryar Munarwar, Khan chose Humayun.

    He added: “It is very important for inspiration and I think it is very important for our children. We have many sports legends, I think biopics should be made for their learning.”

    Shahzad also asked that if he has any plan to write an autobiography, to which Khan said: “I haven’t think about it as yet but I think I should.”

    On November 28, 1981, Khan became the world’s youngest world champion. He is a great squash player who won 555 events consecutively. He retired from Squash in 1993 after helping Pakistan to win the World Team Championship in Karachi.

    She writes in her book that while she was filming her super hit song Choli Ke Peechay Kya hai, the acclaimed filmmaker, Subhash Ghai of Ram Lakhan fame told her wear a ‘heavily padded bra’ to look raunchier.

    She writes, “They put me in a tribal Gujarati outfit and sent me to Subhash Ghai for approval. ‘No! No! No! No!’ he shouted. ‘Kuch bharo.’ I was so embarrassed. In my opinion, he was referring to my choli and stating that it needed to be filled. It wasn’t anything personal, I knew. He had visualized something . . . bigger for the rendition.”

    The film Khalnayak starred Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt in leading roles.

    This A-list actor who debuted with a supporting role in a blockbuster drama serial, almost signed a film opposite a young superstar actress who was in the news for her break-up recently. The actor opted out of the film before the shoot. The director of the film was upset by this sudden change of events and replaced the actor with his contemporary who’s last film did below average business at the box office.

    The actor apparently wasn’t convinced with his character, script and the casting and went on to leave the project before it was supposed to go on floors. The film’s shooting has been wrapped up and will be released once the pandemic situation gets resolved.

    The film’s title is inspired by a chartbuster old song.

    Warraich was recently invited to Shahzad Iqbal’s show, Jashan-e-Cricket. The host asked Suhail about his favourite heroine that if you were made the hero of the movie, which heroine would you like to work with? He instantly said, Kareena Kapoor. Shahzad then said if he has to choose from Mahira Khan, Mehwish, and Reema, who would he choose then?

    The Aik Din Geo Kay Sath host blatantly said: “Mehwish Hayat or i can also work with Reema as well.”

    The host further asked if he wants more heroines to be in his debut movie? To which Suhail said: “Yes sure we do have a margin for more heroines.”

    Amitabh Bachchan

    While talking to BBC Urdu Amitabh Bachchan shared how he felt about Pakistani dramas and also about Pakistani actors and singers coming to India to work. He said, ”I like it when people from Pakistan come to work in India. We have seen the work done in Pakistan. The drama serials that are shown on Pakistani television are exceptional. A channel in India is dedicated to showing Pakistani drama serials which are very fine and I accept the fact that Pakistani TV serials are far superior to those which are being made in India. The artist in Pakistan are brilliant too. Even very long ago many Pakistani serials were extraordinary.”

    While talking to Daily Pakistan, Neetu Kapoor, wife of the late actor Rishi Kapoor, sent out a special message for Saba Qamar while revealing that she’s her greatest fan of acting. “You know Saba! I am your greatest fan, I think you are outstanding,” she exclaimed. Adding to it further, she said; “I watch all of your Pakistani serials. I follow you all the time and I think you are absolutely amazing.” Now, that is indeed a compliment!

    In an interview for with a local media outlet of Pakistan, Kajol once said: “My mother-in-law follows them (Pakistani Dramas) religiously on this channel called Cine Dosti. I have managed to watch a few episodes with her and was really impressed. They have good content and the language is extremely pleasant to hear.” She shared that Indian television producers have a lot to learn from Pakistani dramas, which are much shorter and crisper in comparison. “They finish one story in 15 episodes, which is fabulous and makes it very interesting to watch.”

    Indian Actor, who is famously known for his role in 3 Idiots, once praised Pakistani dramas in an interview with The Express Tribune. Speaking about Pakistani dramas, he said, “I think they’re phenomenal. They’ve caught on really well and the people are relating to them.   • Fawad Khan set to make his comeback on television with ‘Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo’

    Fawad Khan will reportedly be essaying the lead role in the TV adaption of Farhat Ishtiaq’s Novel Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo. The cast of the show has not been officially announced yet but rumours are circulating that Fawad Khan will be the part of the project. If the speculation turns out to be true, this will mark Fawad’s much awaited comeback on the small screen after eight years since his last television series, Numm (2013).

    Earlier in 2020, Farhat Ishtiaq in a Twitter exchange said that the cast of the show has not been decided yet. Meanwhile, the shooting of the project is on halt due to the Corona pandemic.

    Farhat has many popular dramas to her name including, Udaari, Parwaaz Hai Junoon and Yeh Dil Mera Hai.

    During a segment of the show when Ahsan qouted a statement by the Mere Paas Tum Ho writer, that “Feroze Khan can never become an actor”, Feroze responded by stating that Khalil and him are now friends.

    Feroze also received backlash for his controversial statement about marriage. On being asked if he thinks he married at an early age, the Khaani actor answered that he doesn’t think so and one should marry more than once.
