The body of actor and model Humaira Asghar Ali has been found in her apartment in Karachi’s Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Phase VI on Tuesday, police have confirmed.

According to DIG South Syed Asad Raza, the body was recovered from a flat in Ittehad Commercial. In a statement, Gizri police said that the 32-year-old actor had died about two weeks before her body was discovered.

DIG Raza explained that the police went to the apartment on the orders of a local court to get it vacated after the landlord complained that he had not been paid the rent. “The police knocked on the door at 3:15 pm, but no one responded. They broke the lock and went inside, where they found the body,” he said.

He added that the body appeared to be several days old, therefore the cause of death could not be confirmed right away. The Crime Scene Unit was called to collect evidence, and the body was taken to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for legal procedures.

Dr Summaiya Syed, a police surgeon, confirmed: “The body is in a very advanced stage of decomposition.” She also said that further investigation is ongoing.

Humaira Asghar Ali had been living in the apartment on rent. She appeared in the ARY reality show Tamasha Ghar and acted in the 2015 film Jalaibee.

Social media sensation Chahat Fateh Ali Khan is taking his love for the arts to the next level. The singer-turned-actor has now opened a music and acting academy in Pakistan, aiming to turn raw talent into polished performers.

Speaking to the media in London, Chahat Fateh Ali Khan revealed that his previously launched music academy has now expanded to include acting classes. “The main reason for opening my academy is to bring new singers forward,” he said. “Now, we’re adding acting as well, at the same place.”

According to him, the academy is designed for passionate individuals who lack access to formal training. “I want pure talent to be developed and molded into a professional artist,” he explained. A key focus of the academy will be on language and pronunciation, especially in Urdu, Punjabi, and English.

  • TikToker Rajab Butt lands in trouble yet again

TikToker Rajab Butt lands in trouble yet again

After a string of controversies, scandals and run ins with the law, TikToker Rajab Butt has found himself in trouble yet again.

Media reports have stated that Dolphin Force officials stopped Butt’s car in Lahore.

The action came as part of a city-wide campaign against vehicles with black tinted windows.

Reports say that during a routine check at Thokar Niaz Baig, a team led by DSP Mubashir Awan removed black sheets from Rajab’s car windows for violating traffic rules.

A Dolphin Force spokesperson said that many similar operations are being carried out across the city to ensure that vehicles follow the law.

SP Arslan Zahid added that thousands of vehicles have already faced action for such violations and urged citizens to respect traffic rules, warning that strict action will continue in the future.

The past six to seven months have seen Rajab Butt land in the headlines more often than not. In May, a video allegedly showing YouTuber Rajab Butt and his associates assaulting a young man went viral on social media. Following the incident, the victim filed a request for legal action at the Satu Katla Police Station. However, YouTuber Rajab Butt later issued an apology and termed the incident a misunderstanding. The victim accepted the apology, and both parties subsequently reconciled, leading to the withdrawal of the request.

In another case, an FIR had been filed against YouTuber Rajab Butt and his cousin Salman Haider. Haider has been accused of rape, blackmail, and unlawful confinement, while Butt was  alleged to have helped in locking the complainant and her sister.

However, he was granted bail in that case. Meanwhile, the court also extended the interim bail of co-accused Salman Haider.

The YouTuber had to leave the country for an extended period after he named his perfume “295”, the number of the penal code that deals with blasphemy, a highly sensitive matter in the country.

He was arrested just one day after his wedding in January for illegally possessing a lion cub and displaying weapons.

Before that, he, Ducky Bhai and Nadeem Nani Wala launched an online course-selling website, for which they were brutally trolled by fans. Many fans pointed out that the same courses are available for free on YouTube.

  • Sardaar Ji 3 continues ruling box office despite India ban

Sardaar Ji 3 continues ruling box office despite India ban

Sardaar Ji 3 is making waves internationally, performing exceptionally well at the overseas box office.

Starring Pakistani star Hania Aamir and Indian Punjabi singer/actor Diljit Dosanjh, the film has reportedly earned around ₹33.6 crore (about PKR 109.87 crore) in just one week since its release. It is now only ₹16.4 crore (around PKR 53.63 crore) away from reaching the impressive ₹50 crore (approx. PKR 163.5 crore) milestone.

The film has not been released in India due to ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan following the April 22 Pahalgam attack, which also led to a ban on Pakistani content and celebrities’ social media accounts in India. However, this restriction has not stopped the film’s success abroad.

Sardaar Ji 3 has been loved by audiences in the US, Canada, the UK, and Pakistan, with even Indian-origin viewers outside India praising the film as well.

Film analysts are calling the film’s ₹33.6 crore opening week “a huge number”, especially for a Punjabi-language film.

Reaching a ₹50 crore box office collection would be a major achievement for a Punjabi film, and at its current pace, Sardaar Ji 3 looks well on track to hit that target soon.

Made on a budget of ₹35 crore (about PKR 114.45 crore), its strong earnings have already made it profitable.

Trade experts believe that if the film had been released in India, it could have easily earned up to ₹100 crore (around PKR 327 crore) worldwide.

Directed by Amar Hundal, Sardaar Ji 3 is produced by Ganbir Singh Sidhu, Manmohan Sidhu, and Diljit Dosanjh himself. The story is written by Dheeraj Rattan and Manila Rattan, and the film hit theatres on 27 June 2025.

The film’s cast includes Diljit Dosanjh, Hania Aamir, Neeru Bajwa, and Jasmin Bajwa.

Another wrote, “Seeing so many positive comments from foreigners makes me feel lucky to be in this country, Alhamdulillah ❤”

“Dear, this is the beauty of Pakistan,” said one netizen.

  • ‘Fake pregnancy operation’; Nadia Khan mocks repetitive dialogue in hit drama Maan Mast Malang

‘Fake pregnancy operation’; Nadia Khan mocks repetitive dialogue in hit drama Maan Mast Malang

Television host Nadia Khan is not happy with the excessive use of the word ‘pregnant’ in the recently concluded hit drama serial Maan Mast Malang.

The Geo TV drama, which aired its final episode recently, has remained a trending topic due to its controversial content and storyline. Despite repeated backlash from viewers who accused the show of “crossing Pakistan’s cultural boundaries”, the drama completed its full run and garnered over 600 million views on YouTube, highlighting its immense popularity.

While reviewing the finale on 24 News’ program ‘Kya Drama Hai’, Nadia Khan sharply criticized the character Wafa for obsessively repeating the word ‘pregnant’ in nearly every dialogue.

“This so-called Wafa Bibi’s false pregnancy operation. Oh my God, this has been on repeat for the last twenty episodes,” Nadia said while mimicking the character.

She humorously compared the repetition to military tactics, saying, “There’s something called a false flag operation; this was a false pregnancy operation.”

Nadia went on to reenact some of the character’s dramatic lines in a mocking tone: “Mobeen, I got scared. I love you so much.”

“Look Mehnaz, he gave me four rings. You’re jealous of me. You’re jealous, right, my sister?

Tell me, you’re jealous, aren’t you?”

“Mummy, I got scared. Mummy, I swear I’m pregnant. I’m fertile. I will give you lots of children. Yes, mummy, accept it about me, please.”

Laughing through her performance, she added, “Not a single scene ends without mentioning the baby or pregnancy. In 56 episodes, she’s only harped on about this one thing.”

Summing it up with exaggerated flair, Nadia joked, “I’m pregnant. I’m not pregnant. When will I be pregnant? I’m about to be. I will be.”

Her co-hosts burst into laughter as she declared the repeated use of ‘she is pregnant’ in all episodes as a “fake pregnancy operation.”

Nadia Khan’s sharp commentary sparked mixed reactions on social media.

While many users agreed with her and bashed the drama’s script, others felt that such topics should be handled with more sensitivity. Some also reminded Nadia to exercise caution while discussing themes like pregnancy on public platforms.

Nadia is already under fire from several actors for criticizing the writing and acting in Pakistani dramas. Stars like Yasir Hussain and Saba Faisal have publicly called her out in the past, prompting Nadia to warn her detractors of legal action in response.

‘Don’t mock my condition’: Babu Baral’s son appeals for help

Nabeel Baral, son of the late stage legend Babu Baral, has released an emotional video message pleading for help from the public and authorities, highlighting his struggles as a disabled person with no source of income or shelter.

The video message,  recorded on June 28, shows Nabeel saying he has no house of his own and cannot afford rent. “I am making this video because I am in great need of help. I don’t have my own house and I can’t even afford rent. I swear to Allah, I am the only breadwinner for my family but my condition is such that I cannot manage anymore,” he said.

Showing his broken prosthetic leg, he explained, “You can see for yourself, even this prosthetic I had is now broken. Let me show you the condition of my leg. Please tell me, people say ‘go and work’, does anyone think I enjoy asking for help? Tell me, with this leg, how can I work? I can’t even stand properly.”

Nabeel urged people to share his video so his voice reaches the authorities. “My voice should reach the people. Please help me and follow me too, so that I can become an influencer. I hope to generate some income from here because my situation is getting worse, both financially and physically.”

He continued saying, “What should I do? I swear to Allah I am alone. I have no one else to earn for my family. I am the only man. Please take this seriously. Reach out to the government, I should get a house, that’s all I ask. Please, I can’t do any work, my condition is not good. Whatever savings I had are gone, there is very little left. It’s becoming very difficult to survive. Please help me.”

In the end, he made a humble request, “Thank you and please don’t mock me. It’s very rude. Please look at my condition and then if you still call me a scammer or make fun of me, then please fear Allah. Thank you.”

Nabeel’s father, Babu Baral, was one of Pakistan’s most beloved theatre comedians. He began his career in 1982 as a stage performer in Gujranwala and quickly rose to fame for his remarkable mimicry and improvisational comedy. He became a prominent figure in Lahore’s theatre scene, performing in over a thousand plays including hits like Shartiya Mithay, Bhukay Haatha Bataira, and Kuch Na Kaho.

Babu Baral was also known for his writing and direction, and his contributions to Pakistani theatre earned him the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz and Sitara-e-Imtiaz. He passed away in Lahore in 2011 at the age of 47 after battling cancer, hepatitis, and kidney disease.

Yasir Hussain shrugs off Nadia Khan’s court warning with jokes

Actor and director Yasir Hussain has once again used sarcasm to respond to Nadia Khan’s warning of legal action, turning their online spat into a new round of social media mockery.

TV host Nadia Khan released a video a few days ago in which she warned her critics that she would “drag them to court” for passing personal remarks about her. However, Yasir Hussain, staying true to his mischievous reputation, responded with jokes instead of concern.

In his Instagram stories, Yasir took a dig at the situation and wrote, “Yeh @sabafaisal.official ji aur @sarwatg ne hi kuch bola hoga. Mery 1.5 numbers se agar kisi ko bura laga hai toh mai sorry kehta hun aur 2.5 number kar leta hun. I hope we are ok now?!? Happy to you.”

He then reshared the story, adding a line in the style of Bollywood actor Salman Khan, “Mai karon to sala character dheela hai.”

Yasir continued his mocking tone with, “@sabafaisal.official ji tusi bary hi mazakia. Tuhada kutta Tommy, tay saada kutta kutta.”

The situation escalated when popular YouTuber Junaid Akram posted a story on Instagram, writing, “Nadia Khan’s Warning: Hypocrisy or Bullying? @yasir.hussain131 sudhar jao.”

Yasir reshared the story and responded,“Bhai mai nahi hun @mominalimunshi, @sabafaisal.official aur @sarwatg. Mai ne toh sorry kar liya hai boss.”

In another story, Yasir continued, “Numbering ki zaroorat toh kisi ko bhi nahi hai magar ap bhi toh de hi deti hain. So ap k career k jo 2 dhai number banty hain please qubool farmaen.”

He didn’t stop there. Taking another shot, he added, “Baqi Paradise ki ap fikar na karen. Ap apny chughli show ki fikar karen jis ki watch se sari industry ‘thu thu’ kar rahi hai. Adaab. Faqat apka bohot junior.”

Social media users had mixed reactions to Yasir’s response. While some called it “jesa ko tesa”, others praised him for his bold and unapologetic tone.

The feud between Yasir Hussain and Nadia Khan has been going on for weeks. Last month, Yasir took a jab at Nadia’s acting career by saying he gave her performance a score of only 1.5 out of 10.
