Given that Imran Abbas has done almost four dramas opposite Ayeza Khan (Tum Kon Piya, Mohabbat Tum Se Nafrat Hai, Koi Chand Rakh, Thora Sa Haq) it comes as no surprise that she is his favourite co-star.
In a post shared on social media, Imran showered praises on Ayeza, calling her his favourite co-star. He further complemented her by saying that she was “one of the most refined actors, blessed with immense talent and grace.”

Ayeza had a cheeky response to Imran’s heartfelt note.
Under Imran’s post, his co-star and celebrity crush Reema praised him for his performance. Ayeza’s Meray Paas Tum Ho co-star Hira Mani also sent love their way.
Earlier, Imran had also penned a note for his other Thora Sa Haq co-star Mashal Khan in which he said that it was pleasure working with her and that he wishes her luck for all her future endeavors.

Meanwhile, Ayeza shared pictures from the wrap up party of Thora Sa Haq.
Meray Paas Tum Ho writer Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar has rejected reports of his second marriage to Kaaf Kangana actor Eshal Fayyaz. Eshal has also rejected the claims.
In a post shared on social media, the writer said that he strongly condemns and rejects the “absurd and baseless news” of his marriage with Eshal.
Late last week reports started circulating that the critically acclaimed playwright was married to Eshal after it was revealed that he has two wives.

Meanwhile, Eshal also denied the rumours. In a video, she said, “There is no truth in rumours that are doing the rounds. I haven’t got married to anyone, I am very much single.”
“My relationship with Khalil ur Rehman Qamar is that of an actor and a director, nothing more than that,” she added.
Eshal asserted that nobody has the right to spread fake news about anyone “without even knowing them.”
“This is fake news. I am currently working on dramas and films, and will let you know whenever I decide to get married. For now, I have no plans of getting married and am only focused on my work,” she concluded.
Eshal further shot down the rumours by posting a message on her Instagram stories in which she highlighted that she has immense respect for Qamar as a mentor and director.
While everyone else is praising Adnan Siddiqui for his stellar performances in Meray Paas Tum Ho and Ye Dil Mera, Adnan is showering praises on Amir ‘the KING’ Khan, who he ran into at a sheesha spot in Leeds.
Sharing pictures of himself and Amir, the actor wrote, “He might be a Britisher, but the deep rooted Pakistani in him made me feel even more prouder. Was a pleasure interacting with you, Amir. More power to you!”
After the smashing success of Laal Kabootar, Mansha Pasha is returning to our screens with Kahay Dil Jidhar in which she will be playing a badass journalist.
Starring opposite her is Junaid Khan who is playing the role of a police officer.
According to the very short teaser, the film is a “Journey of friendship, life transformation and self-discovery.” It appears that Mansha and Junaid will be playing two friends who find themselves at crossroads when their beliefs coincide.
Sharing the teaser on her social media, Mansha wrote, “Making a film is like going on a journey together. First with the film crew, and co-actors, then with the post production team and distributors. But now we begin this journey with all of you – the ones who make it whole, the people who this journey was meant for.”
On the other hand, Junaid simply expressed his excitement for his “first cinema feature.”
“This one is just the beginning. There is a lot more coming,” he wrote.
Kahay Dil Jidhar is being directed by Jalal Roomi and has been penned by Kamran Bari, who is also acting in the film. Atiqa Odho and Sajid Hasan are also part of the star cast.
A release date for the film has not yet been specified but media reports suggest that the film will release on March 20.
Hina Altaf has often found herself in the middle of a controversy.
The actor recently appeared on the first episode of talk show To Be Honest hosted by stand up comedian Tabish Hashmi. The show’s format is based on honesty and the host extracts some hard truths from the guests under the disguise of witty and fun banter.
When asked by the host about her favourite actor when it comes to doing romantic scenes, Hina was quick to reply Emaad Irfani. However, at the same time she also went on to express her annoyance at co-actor Faisal Rehman’s behaviour during romantic scenes.
“I’ve done a romantic scene with Emmad Irfani and I got carried away,” revealed Hina.
She continued, “Romantic scenes tend to be challenging with Faisal Rehman. ‘Yahan ungli pakarni hogee, woh banda hath pakr lega’ (Scenes that need just holding fingers, he tends to grab the whole arm). I have to keep my guard up always. I even scared him once by saying ‘Me Too’. After this he kept his distance,” the actor giggled.
Hina and Faisal have been part of two dramas: Aatish and Gumrah.
In an interview last year, Faisal had said that “Hina and I have become great friends actually. We started off badly, as she has a lot of anger. But we’ve been great friends since Gumrah (2017) and we’re still friends, and I still want to keep working with her.”
Hina also shared her experience with TV host Aamir Liaquat. According to her, Liaquat has a tendency to spit while speaking. Recalling the experience when she met Liaquat on his game show, Hina talked about how intense he gets while speaking.
“Whenever he talks, spit drips from his mouth. When he talks loudly I feel that the seat will break. Beside that I like him and respect him,” Hina remarked.
Hina also discussed how social media at times tends to throw things out of proportion and revealed the kind of messages she gets on social media.
Gul Makai, a film based on the life of youngest-ever Nobel Prize winner Malala Yousafzai is all set to release on January 31. The movie trailer is out and it looks intriguing.
The trailer starts with the scenic beauty of a valley and a girl’s voice can be heard as a voice-over saying, “Pashtuns never celebrate when a female child is born.”
The short trailer shows Taliban militants torturing the residents of Swat Valley after which the frame shifts to Malala where she is delivering a speech. She says that if the Taliban has the power of weapons they should celebrate the power of the pen.
“One child, one teacher, one book and one pen can change the world!”
The movie is directed by H.E. Amjad Khan. Reem Sameer Shaikh will play the lead role of Malala while Atul Kulkarni and Divya Dutta will play the role of Malala’s parents. The film will hit the screens on January 31 – though it is unlikely that the film will release in Pakistan.
Ahmed Ali Butt has decided that he wants to share a few cents on Megxit.
In a social media post, Butt heavily criticised the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for their decision to step back as “senior members of the royal family and work to become financially independent.”
Butt said: “I don’t believe that because of media and family matters, you are stepping down from your birth responsibility.”
He continued that Meghan knew “very well what she was getting into” and that if she couldn’t handle the family drama, then she shouldn’t have “gotten through the fairytale wedding.”
He then turned his guns towards Harry and commented that the Prince should man up and “stop acting like a over sensitive kid.”
It is likely that Butt received flak for his comments which is why a few hours later, he shared this by English broadcaster and journalist Pier Morgans.
The Sussex’s decision to step back has sparked a royal drama and media reports suggest that member of the royal family including Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles and Prince William are deeply upset with all that is happening.
Madame Tussauds waxwork museum has removed the figures of Prince Harry and his wife Meghan from its British royal family display, in response to the couple’s announcement that they will be stepping back from royal duties.
The wax museum announced their move on social media with a cheeky caption.
Madame Tussauds, which contains more than 250 wax models of celebrities, said the two figures will be placed in a separate section, away from that which includes Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, Prince Charles, and Prince William and his wife Kate.
On Wednesday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced that they intend to divide their time between North America and the UK to carve out a “progressive new role” and step back from their senior positions.
According to British media, senior members of the royal family, including the Queen, Prince William and Prince Charles were disappointed by the move. Some reports suggested that the Queen was furious with Harry.
To be fair, announcing loudly that you’re going to leave without thinking through the implications properly or making solid plans for the future is very, very British #Megxit
#Megxit was trending after Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, announced they would be stepping back from their roles as senior members of the British royal family and begin working towards financial independence https://t.co/jKaRO9QrdY
When Rihanna posted her first selfie of the decade, the responses from her fans just wouldn’t stop. And the selfie garnered 5.4 million likes.
To mark the beginning of the new decade, the singer chose a makeup-free photo. Rihanna posted a pic with a red pimple near her jawline (Yeah, she keeps it real).

The pimple didn’t go unnoticed of course. One fan requested: “Let me pop your pimple.”
Rihanna just had to respond with amazing humour: “let her have her shine, PLEASE.”
This comment led to many pro-pimple comments from the singer’s fans.
One fan wrote: “WE STAN YOUR PIMPLE” and “even riri’s pimple has unmatched power.”
Another follower shared, “love that you posted this pic! Natural Beauty pimples n all ❤❤”
Apparently, Rihanna’s skin care routine is very simple.
“When I feel like my skin has had it, I overdo the water. Mix moisturizer and a drop of foundation. That, some mascara, lipstick, and you’re good. And fix those brows,” she told Elle in an interview.
The episode ended without much of a bang, but the teaser for the next episode was the shocker. Two episodes left. Its time for the big reveal: Will Danish (Humayun Saeed) take back Mehwish (Ayeza Khan) or marry Hania (Hira Mani)?
The series has been anything but typical. But what is frustrating is that there are moments that are so problematic and anti-women.
The most recent episode of the drama shows Maham (Savera Nadeem) accepting Shahwar (Adnan Siddiqui) back into her life. He has to prove himself, as she removes him from his position in the company, but why is he forgiven for that ultimate sin that the writer, Khalil ur Rehman Qamar isn’t allowing a woman to be forgiven for?
Maham ‘forgives’ Shehwar but demotes him from his position in the company until he ‘deserves’ it again
The controversial writer is no stranger to backlash and seems like he doesn’t mind it much either. He has passed many controversial comments about women and recently made new ones and some revelations of the program.
The episode, airing on Saturday, January 11th on ARY Digital, is going to be longer and not ‘for the faint-hearted’. The writer warns that it’s a real tear-jerker and if someone is emotional, they should keep their medicines close by. He also says that ‘God might forgive sins, but love does not,’ when asked about the ending of the drama.
Qamar’s interview with Entertainment Pakistan where he reveals details about the second episode
Roomi, Danish and Mehwish’s son also goes out on a limb and literally proposes to Hania and asks her to marry his father. What’s also stranger is how Roomi is allowed to go to her house on his own and do these crazy gestures but obviously, his role defines what his father will do.
Rumi proposing to Hania on his father’s behalf (his father doesn’t know he is doing this)
It will be disappointing if Danish doesn’t forgive Mehwish. Especially since Maham has taken Shehwar back in his life. But based on what the writer is saying about the end, Danish and Mehwish might not be ending up together.
Mehwish tears the shirt she was wearing when Danish found her returning back to Karachi with Shehwar
Mehwish is repenting. She buys her old apartment, where she lived with Danish and her son, she prays and cries and admits her mistakes, asking Danish to let her live with him, for their son’s sake. But all that might not be enough.
