  • No India release, but all eyes on Hania Aamir in Sardaar Ji 3 trailer

No India release, but all eyes on Hania Aamir in Sardaar Ji 3 trailer

The much-awaited trailer of Sardaar Ji 3 just dropped online and fans can finally relax. Hania Aamir is indeed a part of the film, ending all rumours about her exit after the recent India–Pakistan military clashes.

Diljit Dosanjh shared the trailer on Sunday, officially confirming that Hania is still the film’s leading lady.

On her Instagram, Hania also shared the trailer and wrote, “Main taa darr gai!

SARDAAR JI 3 releasing 27th June OVERSEAS only!”

Yes, that’s right, the movie is only releasing overseas. It will not release in India. In fact, the trailer is geo-blocked in India on YouTube. While the teaser and songs are still visible there, the full trailer which features Hania in every frame isn’t available for Indian viewers. The move says a lot about how the team is handling the political pressure.

The film comes after a tense few months between India and Pakistan, from the Pahalgam attack to India’s Operation Sindoor. Calls to ban Pakistani artists got louder, and even FWICE asked the CBFC not to allow the film’s release in India. Instead of stirring controversy, the makers played it safe with an international release.

For those who got to see it, the trailer promises another fun and fantasy-filled ride, packed with Diljit’s classic humour and action. Hania blends perfectly into this colourful world her Punjabi accent sounding natural, her sarees looking gorgeous, and her screen presence shining through.

Despite some backlash from Indian social media users over her inclusion, the excitement is clearly louder than the hate.

Pakistani stars and fans couldn’t stop praising Hania.

Actress Kinza Hashmi commented: “This is wild @haniaheheofficial ”

Mehwish Hayat wrote: “Ay hui naa gal! ”

Mahira Khan, Hareem Farooq, Komal Meer and many others also praised her performance and wished her the best.

Fans also poured in love, “You deserve all the success and biggest stages! Can’t wait to see the magic on the screen ⭐”

“Ufff dil khush hogaya! Ab hui na baat @haniaheheofficial, can’t wait wowww ”

One even wrote: “I’m straight as a dancing pole but can’t take my eyes off Hania Girl, you ATE all Bollywood actresses for breakfast ”

  • ‘Sorry for the distress’: ARY UK broadcaster apologizes to Meesha Shafi in defamation case

‘Sorry for the distress’: ARY UK broadcaster apologizes to Meesha Shafi in defamation case

Singer Meesha Shafi has won a defamation case in the UK against ARY’s broadcaster New Vision TV (NVTV). The case was settled out of court, with the channel airing an official apology.

NVTV admitted that its broadcast had created a “misunderstanding” and stated: “We are sorry if our broadcast caused Meesha Shafi any distress.”

The case was related to a report aired by ARY UK on December 5, 2020. In 2023, a UK High Court ruled that the broadcast was defamatory towards Meesha. The court found that the channel wrongly claimed Meesha Shafi was deliberately avoiding court orders in Pakistan over a period of two years.

The court also said the channel portrayed Meesha as “someone who does not comply with legal requirements laid down by a court and engages in such behaviour repeatedly.”

A clip from the original broadcast, submitted in court, stated, “She [Shafi] came to Pakistan, did her work and left. Singer Meesha Shafi threw the court orders to the winds. She came to Pakistan, recorded a song and then returned to Canada. She did not present herself in court. Ali Zafar has filed a defamation lawsuit against Meesha.”

The High Court noted that such statements could seriously damage Meesha’s image. It stated: “Such an assertion would have the tendency of lowering the claimant [Meesha] in the estimation of right-thinking people generally… Given the claimant’s standing, the words complained of are likely to have a seriously adverse impact on the way the claimant is treated.”

The court also acknowledged that Meesha Shafi is a “very high-profile Pakistani celebrity” known for supporting women’s rights.

In 2018, Meesha Shafi accused singer and actor Ali Zafar of sexual harassment a case that became one of Pakistan’s most high-profile #MeToo moments. In response, Zafar filed a Rs1 billion defamation case against her, and she later filed a counter defamation suit.

Her original harassment complaint was dismissed in 2019 on technical grounds. However, in 2021, the Supreme Court of Pakistan agreed to hear her appeal to decide whether her case falls under the country’s workplace harassment law.

  • Vintage vibes and intense silence; ‘Main Manto Nahi Hoon’ teaser is pure cinema

Vintage vibes and intense silence; ‘Main Manto Nahi Hoon’ teaser is pure cinema

The much-awaited teaser of Main Manto Nahi Hoon is finally here, and it has taken fans by complete surprise.

For months, people were guessing when the teaser would drop. Some thought late June, others hoped for early July. But the makers said nothing until now. Out of nowhere, the official teaser dropped, and it’s honestly everything fans were hoping for… and maybe even more.

From the first frame, the teaser grabs your attention. The visuals are soft, warm, and slightly vintage, like an old movie, but made with a modern camera. The lighting, the colours, and the overall mood feel rich and thoughtful. Every shot was carefully designed to tell a story without saying too much.

There are no loud sounds. Instead, it uses silence, shadows, and emotion to pull you in. It feels like a tribute to classic cinema but in a modern way.

The cast is full of big names: Humayun Saeed, Sajal Aly, Sanam Saeed, Saba Faisal, Saba Hameed, Sheheryar Zaidi, Azaan Sami Khan, Musaddiq Malek, Hajra Yamin, Nameer Khan, Asif Raza Mir, Saima Noor, Salma Zafar, Salman Shahid, and Babar Ali.

The teaser has almost no dialogue until one moment, when Humayun Saeed delivers a line that hits deep, “Suno, yeh jo love hai na… yeh sirf ek sentiment nahi hai. Ek power hai. Aur aisi power hai jo maine kabhi dekhi hi nahi hai. Yes, main Manto nahi hoon.”

That one line sets the tone for the whole project. It’s emotional. It’s intense. And it hints at a story full of passion, power, and something unforgettable.

Main Manto Nahi Hoon is written by controversial writer Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar and directed by Nadeem Baig. It’s produced by Six Sigma Plus and Next Level Entertainment.

‘This is just content, not real love’: Nauman Ijaz reacts to Maaz Safder’s expensive flowers bouquet

Actor Nauman Ijaz has reacted to a viral video of YouTuber Maaz Safder surprising his wife Saba with an expensive bouquet, reportedly costing between three to four lakh rupees.

The bouquet was so huge that it had to be delivered on a truck and couldn’t even be brought inside their home. The couple shared the grand gesture online, calling it a special moment of love.

The video quickly got attention on social media, with people divided over whether such extravagant gestures are romantic or just for show. Actor Nauman Ijaz also shared his thoughts on the matter through his Instagram story.

Posting a screenshot of the bouquet, he wrote, “Dear sisters, please don’t start expecting this kind of nonsense from your boyfriend or husband now. This is just content, not real love. Now the poor innocent guys are going to suffer again. Remember, real relationships aren’t about fancy gestures or social media trends. They’re built on respect, understanding and genuine connection.”

His story sparked strong reactions online. Many agreed with his message and praised him for calling out the trend.

One user wrote, “What a man, well said.” Another said, “Even a single rose could have worked. The rest of the money could’ve fed an entire poor colony.” Some called it “a cheap showoff” and said such videos are creating false expectations.

However, some people had a different opinion. A few users felt it was unnecessary to criticize someone’s personal way of expressing love. “Do we really need to judge someone’s love? Let it be,” one comment read. Another said, “Yes, it may be a waste of money, but it’s his money, his choice.”

While opinions are split, Nauman Ijaz’s post has definitely sparked an important conversation about love, relationships and how social media is changing the way people express their feelings.

Singer Jawad Ahmad fires back after Fiza Ali calls him ‘dhobi’ on live show

Singer Jawad Ahmad has responded strongly to actress and television host Fiza Ali after she mocked him on a TV show by calling him a “dhobi,” referring to his habit of calling people out during political discussions.

Jawad Ahmad replied in his typical straightforward style, saying, “When she met me, she said she was my biggest fan and used to dance to my songs.”

He continued, “She worked in the drama Mehndi, which became famous because of my song. She was one of the four lead actresses in that serial and became a star because of my track. She can never repay that favor, so this is just an ignorant statement from her.”
