Canadian Prime Minister (PM) Justin Trudeau has accused India of making a “horrific mistake” by violating his country’s sovereignty by killing Canadian citizens.
Testifying at a public inquiry into foreign interference on Wednesday, Justin Trudeau angrily remarked, “The Indian government made a horrific mistake in thinking that they could interfere as aggressively as they did in the safety and sovereignty of Canada. We need to respond in order to ensure Canadians’ safety.”
Lambasting New Delhi for disdaining Canada’s efforts to cooperate on the matter of India’s involvement in killing Canadian citizen Hardeep Singh Nijjar, he said, “We had clear -and certainly now ever clearer indications- that India had violated Canada’s sovereignty.”
Justin Trudeau maintained that his country is not looking to provoke or initiate a fight with India.
He further said that Canadian officials privately shared evidence with their Indian counterparts.
Meanwhile, rejecting the Canadian claim of India’s involvement, a spokesperson for India’s Ministry of External Affairs declared, “Canada has presented us no evidence whatsoever in support of the serious allegations that it has chosen to level against India and Indian diplomats.”
Previously, the Canadian government expelled six Indian diplomats, including a High Commissioner, from Canada, citing New Delhi’s refusal to cooperate in criminal investigations.

Actress Saba Qamar was recently appointed UNICEF’s first national ambassador for child rights in Pakistan on October 11 2024.
On her Instagram Qamar shared a message with her followers with a video of her visit to Sujawal, and wrote: “As a national ambassador, I recently spent time with children and women in Sindh, listening to their stories, sharing smiles and seeing both their strength and struggles. It was an eye-opening experience. While there is so much beauty in their spirit, they still need so much more, basic necessities and support that many of us take for granted. I’m reaching out to you because together, we can make a difference. I need your help, your ideas and your voice to bring hope to these communities. Let’s work together to create real change for them.”
While speaking to Independent Urdu, Saba said, “I have been in Karachi for three days now, and I visited a place where I met young girls, children, and women. I was happy to see that UNICEF has done a lot of work there, providing proper medicine and education. However, I still feel that these children need clean water and a safe environment. For this, I need the support of my nation and my people. When we work together, we can bring about change.”
The Pagal Khaana actress narrated an incident: “I met a girl named Anam who told me she was about to get married, there was a fire in her eyes, and I was so impressed by how UNICEF is raising awareness and educating these children. They are providing education centers, medicine, and teaching about good touch and bad touch, among other things.”
However, Qamar acknowledged that many more areas in Pakistan need support and change.
“I am happy to see how many girls are coming forward. Each girl represents a society, a family. When we educate one child, imagine how much change we can bring to society. I have seen a group of girls who had confidence, a fire in their eyes, and a desire to bring about change. They understood the difference between right and wrong, good and bad touch, and even spoke English. I was impressed that such positive change could happen in a small area like Sujawal,” the Baaghi star added.

Singer Sahir Ali Bagga has revealed that renowned singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan refused to sing a song to pay tribute to the martyred children of Army Public School (APS) Peshawar, after which he sang the said song to his young son.
He recently appeared in the Sama TV program, where he discussed the anthems for the Pakistan Army.
“After the martyrdom of children in the Army Public School in Peshawar, when the ISPR asked him to compose a song on the tragedy, he first approached Rahat Fateh Ali Khan,” he recalled.
Bagga added that Rahat Fateh Ali Khan had taken the composed song, along with the money, but later, he refused to sing it.
“Rahat Fateh Ali Khan called me and apologised for not singing the song. He told me that he was feeling scared,” he said.
“I felt sorry after Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s refusal and vowed that I would now do a bigger job than Rahat Fateh Ali Khan,” he claimed.
“I was also very sad because of the Army Public School tragedy, and then I suddenly thought of my school-going son and sang the song to him,” he added.
“It was only after Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s refusal that I had my son Azaan sing ‘Bara Dushman Bana Phirta Hai,’ and after that, I also had him sing the second song, ‘Humain Dushman Ke Bachon Ko Parhana Hai,’” Bagga said.
Although he claimed that Rahat Fateh Ali Khan agreed to sing the song and received money for it and later denied it, Bagga did not clarify whether Khan returned the money to him or not.
He also did not clarify what happened to the copy of the song sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.
The songs were released in 2015 after the December 2014 terrorist attacks on the Army Public School Peshawar and were well received.
Celebrity relationships are a topic of focus in most situations. We have talked about different relationships, and the ones that caught my eye were Paul Walker and Rebecca Soteros. Many people are curious to know where is Rebecca Soteros now and what she is doing in her life. If you’re also one of those people, read this article until the end to know about Rebecca.
Rebecca is Paul Walker’s ex-girlfriend and the mother of his daughter. Paul Walker was a famous American actor who gained massive popularity from his role as Brian O’Conner in Fast and the Furious. Walker passed away at the young age of forty after being involved in a severe car accident. He left behind a family whom he adored, including a daughter, Meadow Walker, who was only 15 years old at the time of the accident.
He was incredibly proud of his parenting role and remained close to Meadow throughout his life. In an interview with People, the actor’s brother, Cody, remarked on how much Paul loved being a single father: “He loved being a dad.”
A Glimpse of Rebecca Soteros’s Life
Now, searching for Rebecca, you can find articles about her as Paul Walker’s ex-partner.
Rebecca was a school teacher before becoming famous. She used to be employed at one of the schools in Hawaii but subsequently moved to California after conceiving Paul Walker’s child.
Soon after their daughter Meadow was born, they lived as a family for several years. Later, Rebecca and Paul felt it was over between them. So, she decided to return to Hawaii to continue teaching.
Rebecca moved to Hawaii and stayed there until Paul Walker died in a horrific car accident. Once again, she abandoned her Hawaiian life and moved to California to be near her daughter after the tragic event of losing her father.
Where is Rebecca Soteros now?
Rebecca Soteros today lives in California. She broadens a low profile and concentrates on herself and her family. Despite going through some difficult moments, she has tried to provide her daughter with a reasonably good environment. There are some rumours about her having an alcohol use disorder.
She has battled personal challenges, including abuse of alcohol. But what Soteros went through in terms of overcoming alcohol dependency is what takes true strength of character. It further emphasizes her commitment to her family.
Rebecca and Meadow Walker
Soteros has primarily focused on raising her daughter, Meadow. She has become an advocate for her father’s legacy through the Paul Walker Foundation. Their relationship shows a mother’s commitment to her child’s health and development.
She Faced Challenges in the Custody Battle
As a single mother, Rebecca’s life becomes worse during a brutal custody battle. This situation arises after the death of Paul Walker. His mother wanted full custody of her 15-year-old granddaughter. Mrs. Walker is assumed to have charged Soteros with being a drunkard, which made it impossible for her to raise her elder daughter effectively.
On this matter, media sources said that Soteros and Meadow lived with Cheryl during the time Soteros was heavily abusing alcohol and struggling with alcoholism. Still, Cheryl’s accusations were undermined once an insider revealed what happened with Soteros:
Walker’s mother has also claimed custody because Walker wanted his mother to have custody of her daughter. On balance, Soteros has been charged with two DUIs, one in 2003 and the other in 2013. The custody battle became far more intense when Soteros finally agreed to the rehabilitation program requested by Walker’s mother.
Rebecca Soteros Now Living a Peaceful Life
Rebecca Soteros today lives a peaceful life and keeps her private life away from social media. There isn’t much evidence that she has dated anyone since the highly dramatized custody battle. However, she is working for charity. For those who don’t know, Meadow is Paul Walker’s daughter. She has also made a name for herself as someone involved in charitable causes.
Meadow Walker Established the Paul Foundation
According to Meadow’s biography, she was about 16 when she established the Paul Walker Foundation. It promotes all things related to the oceans and marine biology. Her father has been known to have been quite enthusiastic about the oceans; he even appeared on the National Geographic Channel in a show called Expedition Great White.
The foundation offers scholarships in marine science to high school juniors and seniors who could make a positive change in the world.
As Meadow has posted on the foundation’s goals, “These words still hold importance for me because my father was always focused on helping people, on his individual goodness, and on how much he loved doing things unplanned.”
When it comes to television, production, the budget spent on a drama can greatly affect its quality and success. In India, some of the most expensive dramas have huge budgets. Shows like Porus, Radhe Krishn, Suryaputra Karn and Naagin have more than 100 crore plus budgets and create amazing visuals. In Pakistan, however, the situation is quite different; we have produced only a few high budget dramas, such as DuniyaPur, Khuda aur Muhabbat Season 3, Meray Paas Tum Ho, Alif, Tere Bin, Sang-e Mah and Ehd –e- Wafa.
During her recent appearances as a guest on Something Haute with Aamna Isani, Mehreen __ explained the big difference in budget between Pakistan and India.
Jabbar said, “I would say about a minimum $800,000 to a million dollars per episode for a proper web series in India. Our Pakistani dramas are made for around 25 to 30 lakh rupees per episode. So, I mean, look at the difference obviously we are a poorer country, India is 1 billion people, huge industry, so we can’t compare that.”
Recently, Mehreen Jabbar directed the drama serial Nadaan, which airs on HUM TV on Saturday at 8:00 PM.

Muhammad Yusuf’s resignation from the post:
Muhammad Yusuf resigned from the post of selector two weeks ago.
