Iran ‘must make a deal, before there is nothing left’: Trump

US President Donald Trump urged Iran on Friday to “make a deal”, warning that there will be more “death and destruction” after Israel launched deadly strikes targeting Iranian nuclear facilities.

“I gave Iran chance after chance to make a deal. I told them, in the strongest of words, to “just do it,” but no matter how hard they tried, no matter how close they got, they just couldn’t get it done,” Trump said on his Truth Social platform.

He said, “I told them it would be much worse than anything they know, anticipated, or were told, that the United States makes the best and most lethal military equipment anywhere in the World, BY FAR, and that Israel has a lot of it, with much more to come – And they know how to use it.”

“Certain Iranian hardliner’s spoke bravely, but they didn’t know what was about to happen. They are all DEAD now, and it will only get worse! There has already been great death and destruction, but there is still time to make this slaughter, with the next already planned attacks being even more brutal, come to an end. Iran must make a deal, before there is nothing left, and save what was once known as the Iranian Empire. No more death, no more destruction, JUST DO IT, BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE. God Bless You All,” he said.

Ishowspeed beats viral ‘4 am routine guy’ Ashton Hall in foot race four times

YouTuber and streamer IShowSpeed has proved he’s got real speed, defeating fitness influencer Ashton Hall in a foot race four times.

The two internet stars met on Wednesday afternoon at a park near Speed’s streaming setup to settle their online argument over who was faster.

Ashton Hall is widely known for his viral morning routine videos, where he wakes up at 4 am, dunks his face in ice water, and sprints outside. Meanwhile, IShowSpeed, whose real name is Darren Watkins Jr., is famous for his dramatic streams and unpredictable antics.

Speed dominated from the start as they raced along a 50-yard track they marked on the grass.

He easily won the first two races. Hall, 29, then insisted on a rematch on pavement, but Speed, 20, still came out on top.

Despite Hall’s protests, a third race was held, and once again, Speed crossed the finish line first.

Hall appeared increasingly frustrated with each loss. After the third race, Speed began to walk away. When Hall asked why he was leaving, Speed replied, “Because I beat you three times.”

Speed even called Hall “Ashton Fraud.”

After losing the fourth and final race, Hall finally accepted defeat. “I got caught in the sauce,” he admitted, adding that he lost “fair and square.”

This real-life race followed a heated moment on Speed’s stream earlier the same day, where Speed accused Hall of dodging him. Hall responded, “This is not going to be a good look for you, brother,” to which Speed fired back, “I promise you, I’mma smoke your sh*t.”

Their race attracted massive attention online. A live stream of the showdown was broadcast on YouTube, with around 300,000 viewers watching at its peak.

  • Mahira Khan breaks silence after being harassed by fans in London

Mahira Khan breaks silence after being harassed by fans in London

Superstar Mahira Khan has finally opened up about the harassment she faced during a promotional event for her film Love Guru in London.

Speaking about the incident on ARY Digital’s show Buzz Launch, Mahira said, “I can usually handle myself and never felt the need for anyone’s help, but at that moment I felt very uncomfortable.”

“I turned back and saw Humayun, upon which Humayun Saeed immediately intervened and brought the situation under control,” she added.

Humayun Saeed also addressed the matter, saying, “If my sister or any woman were in such a situation in front of me, I would definitely come forward and defend her.”

Discussing on-screen pairings, Mahira commented, “Humayun Saeed’s chemistry with Mehwish Hayat and Ayeza Khan looks great, and he always looks good on-screen with Ayesha Khan.”

She also praised a Pakistani cinema legend, saying, “The real ‘love guru’ of the Pakistani showbiz industry is Waheed Murad, who looked like a hero in a true sense.”

Earlier, during a promotional event for Love Guru at the Indo-Pak Supermarket in Ilford, London, Mahira Khan was physically harassed by at least three people. Videos circulating on social media showed chaotic scenes at the venue, where poor management led to a massive crowd losing control.

Sources told The Current that Mahira was harassed by a security guard and two other individuals inside the store. “It happened when she was trying to make her way to the terrace to wave at fans as part of the promotional event,” a source shared.

They added that she appeared visibly shaken and hesitant to continue with the event, especially after the display of Indian flags at the venue during a time of sensitive cross-border relations.

However, the event continued as planned, reportedly because the actors had already been paid for their participation. According to sources, the store paid £5,000 for the appearance, but “She has not taken any money for the appearance. She agreed to attend the event for the film promotion. What happened there was shocking,” said a source close to Mahira.

Despite her distress, Mahira and Humayun were later seen waving at fans from the store’s terrace in videos that surfaced online.

The clips making rounds on social media showed a visibly uncomfortable Mahira struggling to make her way into the store through the crowd.

Sources confirmed that Mahira filed a protest with the event organisers and expressed her disappointment and shock.

According to reports, a female reporter from a private news channel was also harassed during the same event and filed a police complaint.

  • FACT CHECK: Did Turkish company maintain crashed Air India plane?

FACT CHECK: Did Turkish company maintain crashed Air India plane?

After an Air India flight crashed on the afternoon of June 12, Indian media quickly claimed that a Turkish company was responsible for maintaining the aircraft that went down in Ahmedabad. As has happened with much of the outlandish claims made by Indian media, this too has been proven to be false.

On Thursday, an Air India plane headed to London crashed moments after takeoff from Ahmedabad, resulting in the tragic deaths of 241 passengers on board and dozens more on ground.  Remarkably, one passenger survived the crash.

Following the accident, Indian social media, including controversial Indian television host Arnab Goswami, began airing the claim that the aircraft had been serviced and maintained under the supervision of Turkish company Turkish Technic.

However, a report by Anadolu’s Fact-Check has dismissed the claim as baseless.

After the crash, misleading videos and images also began circulating on social media in India, falsely linking the aircraft to Turkish Technic. Many of these posts claimed that the company had serviced the ill-fated plane.

According to Anadolu’s Fact-Check, the aircraft involved in the accident was a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner. In contrast, the images being shared showed Boeing 777 aircraft inside Turkish Technic’s maintenance hangars.

A post by Turkish Technic on Instagram, dated April 9, confirmed that the company’s maintenance agreement with Air India is limited to Boeing 777 aircraft only, which are serviced in Istanbul.

Reports also confirmed that the agreement between Air India and Turkish Technic covers only Boeing 777 planes and that there have been no issues reported with the maintenance of those aircraft.

UV 12, privacy 0: tourists catch man filming them in India

Two teenagers behind the account Rory and Sage Official have posted a video on Instagram, claiming they were secretly filmed by someone in a nearby building while sunbathing at a hotel pool in India.

In the video, one of them notices the camera as the two sit on loungers by the pool. “Someone’s filming us,” they point out, as the camera pans across the pool to a building.

Video text reads, “trying to get a tan when the UV is 12”, adding in the caption: “Well, it looks like we’re going to have to find a new pastime”.

The creators asserted in the comments and caption that being filmed and gazed at is not very unusual in India. “If you’re a female planning to travel to India, I wouldn’t come without a bodyguard of a man lol” the statement reads.

Responding to a comment suggesting they should have reported it to the staff, they replied, “Unfortunately, some of the hotel maintenance crew came out to spectate as well. I’m sure if we had told the front desk, it would have been handled. But not really worth our time. Besides, with a UV of 12, we tanned in like 10 minutes.”

The video has sparked a wide range of reactions. One viewer called it “extremely weird”.

Another said, “Don’t go to India and think you can wear whatever you want even Indian women are not safe here, so foreign women definitely aren’t.”

One user commented, “Can’t defend my country anymore,” while another called the situation “creepy,” to which the creators responded, “Yes, it seems very common behaviour in India.”

The video has received thousands of views and reactions across Instagram, and there is ongoing discussion about tourist safety, gender-based harassment, and India’s image among international travellers.

  • ‘I can solve anything’: Trump once again offers to sort Kashmir dispute between Pak, India

‘I can solve anything’: Trump once again offers to sort Kashmir dispute between Pak, India

United States President Donald Trump has once again offered to arbitrate the Kashmir dispute between Pakistan and India on Thursday.

“I told them, India and Pakistan, they have a long-time rivalry over Kashmir, I can solve anything. I’ll be your arbitrator,” President Trump remarked while speaking to reporters before signing a bill in the White House’s East Room.

Underscoring his role in mediating between Islamabad and New Delhi during their military and diplomatic standoff in May, following the April 22 Pahalgam incident in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), the US President said, “Eventually they were gonna go nuclear … and I stopped it, I called each leader … and I spoke to them and talked about trade.”

“I said, ‘You’re not trading with us if you go to war … if you’re going to start throwing nuclear weapons around,” he added.

President Trump also revealed that India is negotiating a trade deal in Washington, and a Pakistani delegation would arrive, possibly next week.

On April 22 this year, a militant attack in Pahalgam, a tourist spot in IIOJK, killed 26 tourists. New Delhi, without providing any evidence to date, blamed Islamabad for orchestrating the assault. Pakistan strongly denied the allegation and offered to allow a neutral investigation. The two neighbouring nations engaged in an 87-hour conflict before the United States brokered a ceasefire on May 10.

President Trump’s statement comes a day after US State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce expressed hope that the Kashmir dispute might be resolved during his tenure.

During the weekly press briefing on Tuesday, a journalist posed a question: “After the ceasefire between India and Pakistan, President Trump offered to mediate on the Kashmir dispute. So, what kind of follow-up are we expecting? How the state department moves forward?” referring to the possibility of inviting the leadership of both countries or supporting the UN resolution on Kashmir.

In response, the spokesperson said that while she could not speak about President Trump’s intentions or plans, his actions are always “aimed at resolving long-standing international disputes.”

“So, it shouldn’t surprise anyone that he’d want to manage something like that,” Bruce added, stating that “he is and has been the only one to bring certain people to the table to have conversations that nobody thought were possible.”.
