Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan’s lawyer Faisal Chaudhry has trolled journalist and analyst Hassan Ayub for claiming that the incarcerated former prime minister (PM) watches his show in jail.
Chaudhry, while appearing on a private media outlet’s talk show, was reacting to guest analyst Ayub’s claim that Khan was enjoying a number of facilities in his Adiala Jail cell, one of which was access to 14 TV channels.
“No one has had the kind of facilities Imran Khan is enjoying. He is getting the best food… dry fruit… he’s watching 14 channels. He also watches my channel… my programme,” Ayub was saying in response to a question by the host when Chaudhry cut him off to rubbish his claim.
Slamming the journalist, Khan’s lawyer said it was a baseless claim as the jailed former premier did not watch his show. “He watches your show? No, he doesn’t. No one watches your show except for you,” Chaudhry said mockingly, drawing a rather annoyed reaction from Ayub.
“Okay… I don’t even care if he doesn’t watch it,” the journalist replied, adding that he was only quoting what sources had told him.
When asked by the host if Khan had given him any feedback about the show, Chaudhry said the jailed party founder didn’t even know who Ayub was. “He doesn’t even know his name.”
The two then continued what seemed like an indirect argument, directing their statements towards the host. While Chaudhry kept on attempting to ridicule the journalist, Ayub said he didn’t care if Khan knew him or not.
It merits a mention that this is not the first time that Khan’s alleged interest or lack thereof in Ayub’s reporting has made headlines.
Last month, a court reporter claimed to have overheard former first lady Bushra Bibi telling Khan about two journalists who talked against him on the air, one of whom was Ayub.
The reporter had claimed seeing Bushra pointing at Ayub and Rizwan Razi, both of whom were present at a makeshift courtroom at Adiala Jail for the verdict in the Al-Qadir Trust case against Khan.
The claims followed Judge Nasir Javed Rana’s sentencing of Khan and Bushra to 14 years and seven years in prison, respectively, besides imposing fines worth Rs1 million on the incarcerated PTI founder and Rs500,000 on the former first lady.
Bushra was taken into custody from the courtroom at Adiala where Khan is already locked up in multiple cases against him.
US President Donald J. Trump has set off an international diplomatic crisis by stating on Tuesday night that America will “take over” Gaza, suggesting that American troops might be deployed in the occupied Palestinian territory while Gazans are forced to leave.
“The US will take over the Gaza Strip and we will do a job with it too,” Trump said during a joint press conference alongside International Criminal Court’s wanted war criminal, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He said he envisioned Gaza as a new Riviera.
When asked by a reporter whether America could send in its army, Trump did not rule it out.
“We’ll own it and be responsible for dismantling all of the dangerous unexploded bombs and other weapons on the site, level the site and get rid of the destroyed buildings,” he said, setting off alarm bells ringing across the globe and his own country.
“I do see a long-term ownership position, and I see it bringing great stability to that part of the Middle East, and maybe the entire Middle East,” Trump told reporters in the East Room of the White House. He said later: “This was not a decision made lightly. Everybody I’ve spoken to loves the idea of the United States owning that piece of land, developing and creating thousands of jobs with something that will be magnificent.”
His statement was in sharp contrast to the stance taken by Arab nations, most of whom have repeatedly rejected any plans involving the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians from their land. Egypt and Jordan, both strong allies of the US and Israel, publicly distanced themselves from Trump’s earlier statements that they will take in two million Gazans.
Saudi Arabia reacted with a fast rejection. Despite it being 4:00 am in Riyadh, the the Saudi Foreign Ministry released a statement stressing its long-held position that it will not commit to normalization of relations with Israel without guarantees of a Palestinian state.
“Saudi Arabia will continue its relentless efforts to establish an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, and will not establish diplomatic relations with Israel without that,” the statement said.
Janelle announced her separation from Kody Brown in December 2022. After their separation, Janelle Brown is reviewing her marriage to Kody Brown regarding their finances. She has more to say about the split.
On the January 26 episode of Sister Wives, Janelle spoke with Christine Brown and said, “I never felt like I had much control over my own money because everybody was pulling from the same account.”
Janelle said it was good to have a family fund when they were a plural unit. However, looking back, I see that everyone has a problem with money. “It was really difficult,” Janelle said. “We came together deciding how to budget, which bill to prioritize, and so on.”
Janelle Claims Kody Brown Spent More of Family Money
Janelle revealed that they were much more financially open with one another during the first years of their plural marriage. She explained, “We had a say on what bills were to be paid, how payment was to be made, and who was to be given priority.”
They shared finances this way when she married Kody in 1993, three years after he married Meri Brown. This pattern stayed as Kody married Christine Brown in 1994 and Robyn in 2010.
“Then, the last several years, Kody would just take out funds, and I don’t know what for,” Janelle revealed. “And money was just being blown on a lot of things. It was just really difficult toward the end.
Kod thought he had less justification for spending if he had more kids. “I was a father to 18 and a husband to more than just Janelle,” he said. “There was a lot of money that did not need to be directed towards Janelle’s business.”
Kody Brown insists that much of the spending was used for cars, schooling, and insurance for the children. However, Janelle and Meri do not believe this.
Kody Brown Claims Janelle Was Upset Over House Purchase Help
In the latest episode of Sister Wives, Janelle Brown criticizes her ex-husband, Kody Brown, for his selective memory. He claims he once tried to help her purchase a house. On a road trip with their former sister, Christine, Janelle recalls Kody and his current wife, Robyn, attempting to rewrite history regarding the division of family resources, especially after she sold her Las Vegas home in 2019.
He claims Janelle was furious when he offered to help her buy a house. However, according to Janelle, he wanted her to purchase Christine’s house, which she didn’t want. She also indicates how she helped with her home purchase but feels she never got the chance. Christine asks why the funds from Janelle’s house were sold towards Robyn’s. The discussion touches upon continued animosity over money and fairness, particularly since the wives separated from Kody in recent years.

There was much excitement when Justin Baldoni revealed in 2019 that he would adapt the bestselling book It Ends With Us into a film. Blake Lively was the lead, who thrilled fans even more. They called her the ideal choice for the role of the young woman Lily Bloom. The character suffers from domestic abuse throughout her life and ends up as the same abuser in the later stages.
Since its release last August, the movie has been a great success, grossing over 350 million dollars (£280 million). Yet, everything did not go smoothly behind the scenes. Long before the movie came out, there was much talk about a conflict between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively.
Blake Lively Filed a Legal Complaint Against Mr Baldoni
Lively filed a lawsuit against Mr. Baldoni for sexual harassment four months after the movie’s release. The complaint named Wayfarer Studios, the company Mr. Baldoni founded and that produced It Ends With Us, as a defendant.
The filing accuses Mr. Baldoni and Wayfarer CEO Jamey Heath of repeated sexual harassment and other troubling behaviors. According to the filing, the other women from the cast and crew also had allegations regarding their conduct.
The filing also states that Ms. Lively, Mr. Baldoni, and others involved in the film’s production attended a meeting in January to discuss the hostile work environment. The complaint states that Ms. Lively’s husband was also present at that meeting.
At the meeting, the participants made requests, including that Mr. Baldoni and Mr. Heath not describe their genitals or have any “friends” of the producers or directors on set during scenes where Ms. Lively was to be nude and that an intimacy coordinator be present at all times when Ms. Lively was filming with Mr. Baldoni.
Justin Baldoni Files A $400 Million Lawsuit Against Blake Lively
On January 16, Baldoni sued Lively and her partner, Ryan Reynolds. He seeks $400m (£326m) in civil extortion, defamation, and privacy invasion claims. In the words of his attorney, “The actress and her associates have put out in the public domain new information that is a grossly edited, fabricated, and unsubstantiated piece of material.”
He asserted that Blake Lively and her partner “tried to bulldoze reputations and livelihoods for truly heinous selfish purposes.” As a retort, Lively’s legal representatives dismissed the suit as “another example of an abuser not trying to cover their tracks.”
What’s Next?
This legal battle is scheduled for trial in March 2026. Lively and Reynolds request that the judge dismiss Baldoni’s lawsuit to streamline the hearing. The public still closely follows the events, and the dynamics are tense as both sides prepare for conflict.
This escalating drama has presented itself as an engaging entertainment spectacle that unfolds on social media while shedding light on the critical issues of power, image, and responsibility in modern-day Hollywood. The drama is still going strong because of the available public records, the claims of smear campaigns, the upcoming trial, and the ongoing conflict between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.

As the country unites to express solidarity with the people of India-held Kashmir, the military’s media wing has released a new anthem titled ‘Kashmir Banay Ga Pakistan’ to express support for Kashmiris’ resistance against Indian occupying forces.
Kashmir Solidarity Day, observed on Feb 5 every year, is a national holiday to express Pakistan’s support for the people of held Kashmir, Kashmiri separatists’ freedom movement, and to pay homage to innocent Kashmiris who have died in the conflict over the past seven decades.
This year, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has released a new anthem to mark the day, conveying a strong message of unity and commitment to the freedom fighters of the troubled valley.
The anthem, featuring Ahmed Jahanzeb’s vocals, has been composed by Irfan Saleem and Kamran Khan with lyrics by Imran Raza.
It has been produced to mark the significant day and reinforce the sentiment of solidarity with the brave and resilient people of Kashmir, who continue to struggle for their right to self-determination as enshrined in the documents of the United Nations (UN).
The song opens with the late Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Geelani’s historic speech wherein he said, “Pakistan is ours, and we are Pakistan”.
Check it out here:
Meanwhile, political leaders, armed forces and civil society are marking the day by paying homage to the decades-long struggle of Kashmiris, condemning human rights violations in the region.
President Asif Ali Zardari, in his message, reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Kashmiri people. “We reaffirm our steadfast commitment to the just struggle of the Kashmiri people,” he said.
He condemned India’s continued repression in Kashmir, asserting that Indian actions could not suppress the spirit of self-determination among Kashmiris, and urged the UN to honour its 77-year-old commitments regarding the troubled valley.
Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif, in his statement, also declared self-determination a fundamental principle of international law.
“Every year, the government and people of Pakistan commemorate Kashmir Solidarity Day,” PM Shehbaz said. He also denounced Indian atrocities, and condemned the unlawful detention of political activists and human rights defenders in Kashmir.
“India’s attempts aim to alter the demographic structure of occupied Kashmir,” the premier said.
While the ISPR released a statement reaffirming the commitment of the armed forces to the just cause of Kashmiris, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (JCSC), service chiefs, and the armed forces also paid tribute to the resilience of Kashmiris, whom they said, had endured decades of oppression.
