Cristiano Ronaldo wants to convert to Islam, claims former Al-Nasr goalkeeper

Former Saudi football franchise Al-Nasr goalkeeper Walid Abdullah has revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo wants to convert to Islam.

News about Ronaldo’s interest in converting to Islam is often circulating on social media. Now, Walid Abdullah has claimed in an interview that Cristiano Ronaldo really wants to convert to Islam.

“I once spoke to Cristiano Ronaldo about converting to Islam, and he expressed interest. He has even prostrated himself on the field after scoring a goal and always encourages Muslim players to pray and follow other Islamic teachings. As soon as the call to prayer is heard during a training session, Cristiano asks to stop the training session out of respect for the call to prayer,” he said

Waleed stated that he was close to Ronaldo in the beginning because he was not familiar with the culture, club or other aspects of the country. “So he often asked me for details. Whether he converts to Islam or not, he has reached this point because of the humility and discipline in his personality. Everyone who meets Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia admires him.”

In January last year, Al-Nasr signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Ronaldo for $213 million.

Ronaldo also revealed that he has “no plans to go into the coaching field” and that he may consider other matters after retirement.

“I do not see myself becoming a manager of any team, it is not in my plans; my future is in other fields outside of football. Time will tell what happens.”

  • ‘I didn’t know that Sangjani is not in the middle of Islamabad’: Imran Khan tells Faisal Chaudhary

‘I didn’t know that Sangjani is not in the middle of Islamabad’: Imran Khan tells Faisal Chaudhary

Faisal Chaudhry, lawyer of the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan, while appearing on the Geo News programme Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Kay Saath, claimed that Khan told him, “I did not know  that Sangjani was not in the middle of Islamabad.”

Responding to the journalist’s question about whether Imran Khan had instructed the former First Lady to lead last week’s protest march, Faisal Chaudhry remarked, “If Imran Khan is saying he instructed Bushra Bibi to lead the convoy, then he is correct; other claims don’t matter.”

Imran Khan also spoke to the media on Tuesday at Adiala Jail Rawalpindi, saying, “I instructed Bushra Bibi on how to take the protest to Islamabad. Whatever she did was in accordance with my instructions.”

However, Chairman PTI Barrister Gohar Khan recently remarked that Imran Khan had instructed party leaders to stage the sit-in at Sangjani, in the outskirts of Islamabad.

The comment seems all the more incredulous given that PTI held a rally in Sangjani on September 8 this year.

The development came after the former ruling party’s leaders raised objections over Imran Khan’s wife’s influence in leading last week’s protest march beside Chief Minister (CM) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Ali Amin Gandapur towards the D Chowk in the capital.

Responding to former National Assembly deputy speaker Qasim Suri’s recent tweets that Imran Khan was unwell while incarcerated at Adiala Jail Rawalpindi, Faisal Chaudhry advised Suri to consult with Salman Akram Raja or Aleema Khanum before posting any message about Khan.

Previously, the former deputy speaker of the National Assembly, in a post on his X (formerly Twitter) handle, claimed: “Imran Khan has been given something that threatens to disrupt his mental balance, locked in a small room and sprayed with a poisonous substance whose smell is affecting his mind. Imran Khan’s health is bad, and there are serious threats to his life.”

However, PTI chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan refuted the claims that Khan’s health deteriorated in the prison, stating he is in good health.

Aleema Khanum, Imran Khan’s sister, also spoke to the media on Tuesday following her visit to Adiala Jail Rawalpindi and refuted claims that her brother’s health had deteriorated, saying, “Imran Khan is absolutely fine.”

Mashal Khan: From actress to ‘Queen of the Stock Exchange’

Imagine a place where the most outrageous dreams can be funded, and mega fortunes are made – welcome to the world of stock exchange, where Mashal Khan is making waves with her unique blend of financial savvy and inherent charm.

Mashal recently shared details of her personal journey in the financial world. Despite experiencing major losses in the stock market, she managed to achieve double the profit afterward. Her story serves as a great inspiration for individuals looking to diversify their portfolios.

Appearing on Khalid Butt’s hit podcast Fraudcast, she provided valuable insights on trading and navigating markets. From her experience, Mashal has started free groups to guide others on their trading journeys and aid them in achieving success.

Mashal Khan stated, “I think that if I earn money and spend it, it will decrease, and I’ve never liked that idea. I feel that if I spend money, it should increase. How can you spend money and make it grow? There’s a beautiful place called the Pakistan Stock Exchange, where dreams come true.”

She advised beginners to download ‘Investified,’ saying, “You can decide your budget—let’s say, for example, you have a budget of 5 lakh or any other amount you want. Then you start what I like to call ‘ghost trading.’ Ghost trading is when you don’t invest your money but observe the market. You simulate investing by virtually buying or selling something, just to see what the results will be. It’s a way to learn, and we use ghost trading for that purpose.”

In a lighter moment, Mashal added, “I love ghost trading; I do it every day.”

Mashal also touched on the topic of cryptocurrency, stating, “Bitcoin is illegal, and I don’t want people to use Bitcoin.”

Regarding her disciplined routine, she shared, “My morning alarm is set for 8 o’clock. Whether I sleep at 4 o’clock or 5, I have to sit up at night and watch the show. I have to be up at 8 o’clock, and I’ll tell you why— to do my pre-market work. Pre-market trading is the process of trading assets before the markets open. Simply put, it’s trading before the normal market hours begin. Traders use pre-market movements to gauge how markets might operate on full opening.”

Mashal frequently shares ideas on her Instagram stories about stock investments. People have affectionately given her the title “Queen of the Stock Exchange.”

In today’s busy world, mental health is more important than ever, but it often get ignored. Stress, anxiety, and emotional struggles affect everyone, but getting help from a professional can really make a big difference in handling these problems.

Superstar Mahira Khan has always been vocal about her personal experiences. She continues to advocate for mental health awareness, emphasizing its significance in our lives.

Mahira Khan has bravely shared her battle with depression, particularly the dark times she faced as she fought the disorder.

In a heartfelt conversation on Aamna Haider Isani’s podcast, she urged anyone who feels depressed to seek professional help.

She explained that it’s easy to talk about mental health on the surface but hard to delve deeper. Recalling the time she was “really, really, really depressed,” she said, “I couldn’t understand people telling me how incredible my life was.”

“That’s not what you say to someone because it’s a disease. It’s a chemical imbalance,” she stated. “Depression and other mental health issues are diseases. They have medicines and treatments for it.”

Khan shared that her prayers, best friends, family, and son were her pillars of strength during her darkest times. “The support system is very important,” she stressed.

She highlighted the need to openly discuss issues like depression, which carry shame. She emphasized the benefits of finding a support group of people with similar experiences. “I’ve had so many people come up to me and say thank you, and ask me, ‘What did you do, who did you go to?’ The amount of people I’ve sent to different therapists and psychiatrists is insane,” she revealed.

Mahira Khan finds inspiration in stars like Bushra Ansari and Atiqa Odho, who continue to thrive and look after themselves. “I think it has to come from love for yourself,” she said. “When you like yourself, you will think about yourself, you will say, ‘Can I take this break? Can I take this girls’ trip?’ Happy markers.”

Khan spoke about her happiness markers, such as music and traveling, which she indulged in more after marrying Salim Karim. “There was no such thing as holiday [but] ever since I’ve known Salim, his friends are regular travellers. They would travel rather than buy a car,” she noted.

She encouraged women to engage in activities that bring them joy, like gardening, cooking, or watching dramas. “I get immense joy from working, it keeps me healthy and happy. Whatever gives you joy, do it,” she firmly stated.
