It’s going to be a month to Hamza Ali Abbasi and Naimal Khawar’s wedding and from then till now, we’ve seen the two indulge in excessive PDA on social media and otherwise. Given how low-key their shaadi and their “platonic” relationship prior to their Nikkah was, it is somehow odd to see them behave this way, especially Hamza, who has always maintained a certain image.
While I’m all for letting people live the way they want, their public displays of affection seem to give the impression that they are trying to milk the attention they are getting as much as they can. Which raises the question: How much is too much?
Let’s start with this picture of the two of them from this week. Naimal shares a picture of the two of them out on a dinner date.

Hamza shares the picture on his story with the caption, “You Naimal, you are Allah’s gift and blessing for me.”
A few days before that a picture of them cosying up in the hills was widely shared on social media.
Pretty much every picture of Naimal and Hamza goes viral.

We did not want to post a biased opinion so we decided to ask our followers what they had to say on this. Here are the results:
India has been at the receiving end of jokes after it’s space mission failed. From ministers to the public, everyone in Pakistan has been poking fun and having a laugh at their failure.
Hamza Ali Abbasi, who is in the centre of all things current (and political), also had a few thoughts to share.
Taking to Twitter, the actor remarked that India is “delusional.”
The tragedy is tht we have a neighbour who wants to destroy Pak, is fueling nuclear race, arms race & wants to land on the moon only to add to a mere delusion of itself as some super power while most ppl in both countries live below poverty line. #IndiaFailed#IndiaOnTheMoonpic.twitter.com/izbF5rTyKv
In a successive tweet, he wrote that India wants to “go to the moon just to stroke their false ego.” Ouch!
Any country, including Pak, which has the tech to produce weapons like MIRVs can send a probe to the moon given they r willing to spend massive resources. It doesn't matter if Ind moon mission failed, the tragedy is they want to go to the moon just to stroke thr false ego! https://t.co/OsLR5L4s9u
India’s space mission failed on Saturday after it lost contact with an unmanned spacecraft moments before it was due to make a historic soft landing on the Moon. Blasting off in July, India had hoped to become just the fourth country after the United States, Russia and regional rival China to make a successful Moon landing and the first on the lunar South Pole.
But in the early hours of Saturday India time, as Prime Minister Narendra Modi looked on and millions watched with bated breath nationwide, Vikram, the lander named after the father of India’s space programme, went silent just 2.1 kilometres above the lunar surface.
However, PM Modi comforted the glum scientists and a stunned nation from the lunar programme’s command centre in Bangalore, saying India was “proud.”
Naimal Khawar, aka Mrs Hamza Ali Abbasi, savagely shut down trolls who criticised her marriage to Hamza Ali Abbasi.
Now that the wedding festivities are done and dusted, Naimal took to Twitter and thanked everyone for the good wishes before going on to say that she “would like to address a few things.”
Thank you so much everyone for the wonderful wishes and prayers for me and hamza as we embark on this new journey in our lives. Now that the wedding is over, I would like to address a few things
In a series of tweet, Naimal said that she is “consenting adult woman capable of making my own decisions,” and that she “left acting 9 months ago” and the decision to do that was entirely her’s.
Apart from this, Naimal also shared a lovely black and white picture of herself and her husband.
After a simple, intimate nikkah, Hamza Ali Abbasi and Naimal Khawar hosted a grand reception at a posh hotel in Islamabad.
A plethora of celebrities and political leaders graced the event with their presence. Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor, Atif Aslam, Vasay Chaudhry and Ammara Hikmat were among those who attended the event.

There was a cake cutting ceremony too
Is a shaadi even a shaadi without a selfie to wrap it up?
Later in the night, Hamza Ali Abbasi took to Twitter to thank everyone for the best wishes they had sent his way.
Thankful to Allah for all the love, best wishes & prayers from all of you. Feel truly blessed. ❤️ pic.twitter.com/5HR1ZIK4Pi
Vasay Chaudhry also shared a memorable photo from the night.

Hamza and Naimal had a simple, intimate nikkah the previous day. In case you missed it, here are some pictures from the event. Catch the rest of them here.
Wrapping it up with a gorgeous, happy picture of the couple.
When we ran into Kubra Khan at the 7Up Pakistan Wedding Show (oh the irony), we couldn’t help but ask her what gift she would give to her three couple friends who are (or have already) gotten married.
Kubra shares a close friendship with Yasir Hussain and Iqra Aziz and has a great working relationship with Hamza Ali Abbasi and Sajal Aly.
Yasir & Iqra
“I would give them a painting because they’re both very creative – so something to do with art.”
Ahad & Sajal
“Something to do with music because Sajal sings really well and Ahad is a really good musician as well.”
Hamza & Naimal
“Hmm I would give them my best wishes.”

While Hamza Ali Abbasi has tied the knot with Naimal Khawar, we are still waiting for the other two celebrity couples – Ahad Raza Mir and Sajal Aly; Iqra Aziz and Yasir Hussain – to announce when they will be saying their ‘qubool hais’.
Pakistan’s IT bachelor (former bachelor now) Hamza Ali Abbasi tied the knot with fellow actor Naimal Khawar in a white, afternoon wedding in Islamabad on Sunday. Needless to say, pictures and videos from the event went viral within minutes and the simple, intimate wedding won everyone’s hearts.
Pakistanis on social media couldn’t help but praise the simpleness of the wedding and the fact that the bride chose to wear her mother’s bridal clothes and jewellery.
This 'wedding' should be taken as a new trend in the world full of lavish events that cost a fortune to 'impress' the people that don't even matter. Be classy in your own simplicity, if money is what makes you, then that's money, not you.. May we be them.#HamzawedsNaimal

After a whirlwind week which began with speculations, followed by Hamza’s lengthy acceptance and then a note on the right way of finding love, Hamza Ali Abbasi and Naimal Khawar have said their Qubool hais and are now officially man and wife.
Their nikkah ceremony, which was an intimate affair, took place in Islamabad in the presence of family and some very close friends. Both the bride and groom looked radiant in white outfits and since it was a day time event they made sure to take some sunkissed selfies and pictures.
Naimal opted to wear her mother’s bridal dress and jewellery. Islamabad-based designer Maheen Shah did Naimal’s outfit.
“Naimal wanted to reuse her mother’s bridal and we thought it’ll surely make her look like a timeless bride. Playing with the vintage old world charm we paired it with a gold kamdaani kameez with gota and silma work on the front/back border, sleeves and the neckline. We added another organza dupatta with kamdaani chatta, finished with lace, lappa and taamba lace,” said the designer on the bride’s outfit.
Close friends of the couple which included Gohar Rasheed, Ammara Hikmat, Usman Mukhtar, Bilal Lashari, Umair Jaswal and Atif Aslam graced the event with their presence. Senior PTI leader Senator Faisal Javed Khan and Murad Saeed were also present at the event.

Hamza is the perfect husband as he helps his wife manage her outfit as she walks.
Pakistan’s IT bachelor Hamza Ali Abbasi is all ready to tie the knot this weekend and everyone has got their popcorns ready because it’s going to be one hell of an event. Even though Hamza in his wedding announcement has said that both the nikkah and the valima will be simple affairs, we all know where a celebrity is getting married and lots of famous people are invited, the event can hardly count as simple. It’s more of a glittering affair than anything else.
Outfits
Hamza’s outfit is a no-brainer. Whether it’s an award function or a casual day out, Hamza is always seen in a plain black shalwar kameez. Hence it is likely that he will stick to his usual attire, on the nikkah at least. Though we think that he might wear a white shalwar kameez on his nikkah instead. For his reception, he might opt for a sherwani – he is occasionally spotted sporting one. Also let’s not forget, Hamza will be bald at his wedding, given that he recently returned fro Hajj, but we’re sure he’ll sport it with confidence. We do hope he wears better shoes though.

As for Naimal, we’re can’t exactly say which designer she will wear. On her Instagram, she has donned a variety of Islamabad-based designers from Maheen Shah to Zamrud. In her last Instagram post, Naimal was wearing an outfit by Zainab Salman so it’s possible that she might don an outfit by the designer on one of her functions. As for the colour, given her love for beige attires, we think that she might wear an outfit of the same colour on her nikkah.

Guest List
Everyone has been speculating whether PM Khan will be attending or not, but according to the Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Media, the PM will not be attending as he has stopped making social appearances. However, senior members of the PTI leadership might attend the shaadi.
It is expected that the entire cast and makers of The Legend of Maula Jatt – Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Ammara Hikmat, Gohar Rasheed and Bilal Lashari – will be in attendance.
Naimal’s co-stars from Anaa – Hania Aamir, Shehzad Saleem, Usman Mukhtar – are also likely to be attending the event. Hania has also worked with Hamza in Parwaaz Hai Junoon.
Humayun Saeed has said that he will not be able to attend as he is not in the country. Whether Hamza’s fellow actors from Jawani Phir Nai Aani will be attending or not is unclear. They’ve all sent their congratulations though.
Congratulations Hamza and Naimal! Wishing you both a happy married life… May Allah bless you. Unfortunately I won’t be able to attend because I am not in the country but dinner’s on me as soon as I am back! Lots of love and prayers… @iamhamzaabbasi@Naimalkhawarrpic.twitter.com/hKtzTXeaxk
A big Mubarak to @iamhamzaabbasi on your Hajj (Allah qabool karay Ameen) and now MashaAllah life partner. ALLAH made us in pair and may he bless this pair always with love and blessings. Naya Pakistan aur Naya khandan Mubarak. #mashallah
Hamza Ali Abbasi’s wedding to actor Naimal Khawar Khan is without a doubt the talk of the town. After the actor penned a long letter in which he explained his reasons for marrying Naimal, he was brutally trolled.
Hamza in his shaadi announcement had written, “Some people get married for themselves because either they fall in love or because their lonely or maybe because of family or to have kids, these are also good reasons, but believe me when your sole reason is to please Allah then Allah makes a man like me, who could never sustain anything emotional with the opposite gender, could never comprehend the idea of marriage in his head, Allah makes that man go up to his very platonic friend of two years Naimal and tell her that he doesn’t want a relationship (that GF/BF nonsense) neither is he claiming to be in love with her but he wants to marry her with the intention of strengthening his very turbulent efforts to walk a path which pleases Allah and to my surprise she agrees not just to marry me but also expresses her joy in walking this path with me & now we can’t even breathe without each other.”
In a follow-up tweet, he further clarified that there was no “love story” between the two and they were “just friends for 2 years and recently Allah put it in my heart to ask her to marry me.”
Grateful for the flood of invites on TV shows to talk abt our "Love Story", but as disappointing as it sounds thr is none. We were just frnds for 2 yrs & recently Allah put it in my heart to ask her to marry me for reasons i mentioned and she said yes… Thts the entire story 🙂 https://t.co/lTl2xCVDYi
Following the floods of jokes and memes on Hamza and his platonic friendship, Hamza again took to social media to pen a long thread on what platonic means and the different ways of finding love.
