    Many celebrities of Pakistani film and drama industry took to social media to wish actor Imran Abbas on his birthday.

    Taking to Instagram Sanam Jung shared an old picture of herself with the Creature 3D star and wrote: “Happy Birthdayyyyyy to my biggest support- someone who has always been super honest, genuine, always a call away , crazy and hilarious! When you’re in his company time flies! From being my first hero to my very first genuine friend in the industry , you have a heart of gold Imran!”

    While thanking his Dil-e-Muztar co-star, Imran said: “Thanks a lot undoubtedly my closest friend of the industry, my confident, my 3 am buddy Sanam! ‘Tu hai to i’ll be all right’.”

    The Koi Chand Rakh star recently posted his thoughts on the drama serial Parizaad, which has been receiving acclaim from audiences and celebrities alike. It is based on Hashim Nadeem’s novel of the same name and follows the story of a neglected man with low self-esteem who sets out to prove himself. The Ehd-e-Wafa actor is playing the lead and has been receiving positive reviews for his performance.

    “Parizaad is certainly the best serial I have seen in recent times with unconventional, strong script, best direction, incredible acting of each and everyone, especially Ahmed Ali, and superb production,” Imran wrote, calling the project a lesson to learn from for those who are looking to experiment with different story lines and taking creative risks.

    The Laal Kabootar hero turned to his Instagram stories and thanked Imran for “enjoying it.”

    Earlier, Zahid Ahmed also lauded Ahmed and said: “What a performance by Ahmed in Parizaad! Take a bow buddy brilliantly done!”

    While Ali Rehman Khan, Shuja Haider, Yumna Zaidi, Mashal Khan and many others have praised the actor.

    Drama serial Parizaad gets a release date

    Parizaad features an ensemble cast of Yumna Zaidi, Ushna Shah, Urwa Hocane, Nauman Ijaz, Mashal Khan, Leyla Zuberi and others. The drama premiered on July 10 and 12 episodes have aired on HUM TV so far.

    Actor Imran Abbas posted a teaser of his upcoming drama serial Amanat on his official Instagram handle which received praise from veteran Bollywood singer Alka Yagnik.

    The Tum Saaath Ho singer expressed her excitement for the upcoming drama as she commented, “When, When, When?”`

    To which Imran replied, “In a couple of weeks. Looking forward to your feedback.”

    Alka is clearly awaiting its release. The multi-starrer drama, Amanat will feature Imran Abbas, Urwa Hocane, Saboor Aly, Haroon Shahid, Saba Hamid, Sheheryar Zaidi, Babar Ali, Asad Siddiqui and Gohar Rasheed.

    According to Imran, Amanat is a “circumstances-based love story”, while producer Sana Shahnawaz says it is “a family drama with love, romance and all other elements that the audiences wish to see in our dramas.”

    The song Naam-e-Wafa is from Aamir Khan’s Bollywood movie Ghulam.

    Written by Rukhsana Nigar and directed by Shahid Shafaat, Amanat will go on air later this month.

Now, I don’t have any remorse. I did a Bollywood film which didn’t really work at the box office. When I was offered projects that went on to become some of the highest-grossing films of their times, I later realized that it was imperative to make the decision (rejecting them) that I took in order to get my perspective right,” shared Imran.
