    Imran Abbas, Ushna Shah forget to tell each other about their marriage

    Imran Abbas has given a humorous response to fake news of his marriage with fellow actor Ushna Shah which has made the fans laugh.

    Shah took to her Instagram stories with a screenshot of a thumbnail of a YouTube video with a photoshop photo of Imran and herself saying that Ushna and Imran are married.

    Shah tagged Imran on the screenshot and wrote: “Mubarak ho Imran Abbas [Congratulations to you Imran Abbas].”

    In response to Shah’s story, Imran wrote: “Ushna! And we even forgot to inform each other in haste.”

    At the same time, he slammed YouTubers, saying: “YouTubers!! At least do photoshop properly.”

    Interestingly, this is not the first time that rumors of Imran Abbas’s marriage has emerged and Imran has responded to them publicly. Earlier, Imran had also rubbished the rumours about his relationship with Alizeh Shah.

    Nadia Hussain has shared a screenshot of Nabila’s message to her in which she has accused Nadia Hussain of copying the idea for her newly launched ‘Go makeup Palette,’ from Nabila’s ‘Zero makeup palette’. Nadia also accused Nabila of blocking her on Whatsapp and Instagram.

    The screenshot of Nabila’s text stated, “Don’t you have brain of your own?”

    “For someone of Nabila’s repute, to stoop so low and send me such an underhanded message on the launch of my GO makeup palette is just beyond me,” wrote Nadia.

    She went on to clarify that how her product is different from Nabila’s product, “My item may be similar but surely the concept is totally different, she has no copyright on such a design, many many international brands have such similar travel makeup kits and also that my product itself offers much much more in comparison to her zero makeup kit”

    Nadia also attached screen recording of her pervious conversation with Nabila to prove the authenticity of her claims.

     She continued, “Surely my GO makeup palette rocks and surely it has rocked her boat.”

  • Pakistani celebs laud Dua Lipa for clapping back at NYT

    Pakistani celebrities including Ahsan Khan, Ali Rehman Khan and Ayesha Omar has appreciated Dua Lipa for clapping back at New York Times for accusing her of anti-Semitism.

    “I utterly reject the false and appalling allegations that were published today in the New York Times advertisement taken out by the worlds value network,” wrote Dua.

    “This is the price you pay for defending Palestinian human rights against an Israeli government whose actions in Palestine, both Human Rights Watch and the Israeli human rights group B’Tselem accuse of persecution and discrimination,”  she added.

    “I take this stance because I believe that everyone — Jews, Muslims and Christians have the right to live in peace as equal citizens of a state they choose,” she continued.

    Dua Lipa further wrote: “The World Values Network are shamelessly using my name to advance their ugly campaign with falsehoods and blatant misrepresentations of who I am and what I stand for.”

    “I stand in solidarity with all oppressed people and reject all forms of racism.”

    Dua Lipa, also shared the same statement on her Instagram story and Pakistani celebrities lauded her for slamming New York Times over the accusations.

    Ayesha Omar said that legal action needs to be taken against New York Times for the accusations.

    Ahsan Khan shared the statement, with the caption, “Love Her”.

    Ali Rehman Khan along with re-sharing the story also re-shared the screenshot of the advertisement published by NYT and wrote, “This Disgusting AD is a clear example of those “Deep Pockets”.

  • Saba Qamar to make a comeback on television with ‘Tumhare Husn K Naam’

    Saba Qamar Zaman is all set to make a comeback on television with upcoming drama serial, Tumhare Husn K Naam. Besides Saba, the drama will also feature Imran Abbas, Salman Shahid, Nayyer Ijaz and Asad Siddiqui.

    Directed by Saqib Khan, Tumhare Husn K Naam has been written by Sara Qayyum, while Umera Ahmed is the screenwriter.

    Commenting under director Saqib Khan’s post, Saba jokingly questioned, “Who’s your heroine?”

    To this, Saqib replied, “Well, she’s the best that we have,”

    After a picture of Nausheen’s note went viral on social media, Sayeed passed an insensitive comment and taunted Shah on failing to get married after trying multiple times.

    This irked Shah who didn’t keep quiet and publicly responded to Sayeed’s comment saying: “Now you will tell me what to say and when to stop. You sleep with men, Allah maaf keray you are a gay, ap toh shaadi kerne kay qabal he nhi ho.”

    “So please next time think before you speak. Hope I am loud and clear,” she added.

    Shah earlier expressed her annoyance over being constantly berated by her mother for not getting married, saying that it is part of Pakistani culture for mothers to constantly remind a single woman to get married.

    “This happens only in this country. If you are not married your mother will remind you every day. Shaadi kerlo shaadi kerlo nhi kerne shaadi bhai maaf kerdo Jaan chordo (Get married, get married. I don’t want to get married. Let me be),” the actor had written tempestuously.

    Meanwhile, comedian and host Adeal Ajmal aka Aadi also got furious over Shah for using abusive language for Pakistan and Pakistani mothers.

    Criticising Shah for her comments, Aadi said: “Are you sure you want to use this term [expletive word] as a public figure? Maaf kerdo, jaan choro to you Mom? Are you sure to post this on your profile?”

    He also urged the actress to leave this country, if she has so much problem with it.

    Yasir Hussain hits back at trolls telling Mahira Khan to wear a dupatta

    While many are appreciating Pakistani celebrities for raising their voice for Palestine, others have their priorities displaced and are moral policing Mahira Khan for not wearing a dupatta to the pro-Palestine protest outside the Karachi Press Club on Wednesday.

    Yasir Hussain and Ahmed Ali Butt stepped forward to defend their colleague and hit back at trolls moral policing Mahira for not wearing a dupatta.

    Bohot achy,” remarked Hussain sarcastically. “You get your summer looks with shorts and Mahira should wear a dupatta in the heat of May.”

    Meanwhile, Sheheryar Munawar, Ayesha Omar, Sanam Jung among others celebrities were spotted at the protest. Yasir could not attend the demonstration due to his surgery after suffering a hand injury. 

    Yasir protested, however, with a Palestinian flag on his bandage.

    Mathira also defended Mahira, saying: “It’s the mindset that needs to be changed. Stop being so sex hungry in your mind, stop it!!”

    Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office announced a ceasefire on Friday in Gaza after 11 days of violence, Al Jazeera has reported.

  • ‘Only gloom remains in Gaza’: Pakistani celebs react to ceasefire in Gaza

    Adnan Siddiqui, Faysal Quarishi and Iqra Aziz have reacted to the ceasefire in Gaza after 11 days of violence, saying more needs to be done.

    “Guns have fallen silent, mothers are searching for children, children for their homes,” wrote Siddiqui on social media. “The dust has settled. Only gloom remains in Gaza.”

    “Ceasefire but at what cost? I search for answers,” added the actor.

    Quraishi also shared his opinion on ceasefire saying, “A ceasefire is welcome but a lot more needs to be done.”

    “Palestine has been an open-air prison for countless people,” remarked the actor. “Every single day they have been witnessing continuous crimes against humanity with no control on staples like water and electricity.”

    “All Palestinians, Muslims, Jews or Christians need to be freed once and for all,” said Quraishi further, adding: “If the world does not take a stand now, we will keep on witnessing Kashmir and Gaza story repeated for all times to come.”

    Iqra Aziz also shared her thoughts on the situation, saying: “I pray we never face anything like this again. This was inhumane.”

    “I pray for all the lives lost in the past 11 days and hope for a better future,” expressed Iqra.

  • ‘Shame on you’: Sanam Saeed hits out at Dubai for promoting tourism in Israel

    Sanam Saeed has expressed her disappointment over a billboard in Dubai advertising tourism in Israel.

    Sharing a screenshot of a picture showing the billboard welcoming tourists to Israel, Sanam said: “The saddest thing about betrayal is that it never comes from your enemies.”

    “If this is true, [then] shame on you Dubai,” said the actor, adding: “Humanity before politics.”

    Ever, since the new wave of violence began in Palestine, Pakistani celebrities are calling out Israel and showing solidarity with the people suffering in Palestine due to Israel atrocities.

    Earlier, Asim Azhar had lashed out at Israel over their claims that they were founded 3,000 years ago.

    “Your ‘country’ was literally founded, sorry I mean forced on the world in 1948. Humse bhi aik saal chotay ho, aide tussi 3,000 years kay (You are one year younger than Pakistan and yet you claim you’re 3000 years old),” the musician had said.

  • Mathira wishes to adopt a Palestinian child, give them a ‘safe place’

    Mathira has expressed her wish to adopt a Palestinian child and offer them a “safe place called home”.

    “I would love to adopt a child and give him/her all the love that he/she has lost, and a safe place called home,” wrote Mathira on Instagram.

    “If there is away for adoption available, please do DM me,” she asked her followers.

    While many appreciated Mathira for her gesture, others said that the model was just pulling a publicity stunt prompting, Ayesha Omar to step in to defend her.

    According to details, at least 58 children have been killed by the Israeli forces in the new wave of violence. Dozens of children have also been injured and orphaned in the attacks. In a video that has gone viral on social media, a baby girl in Gaza praying during the bombardment by Israeli forces.

    In a report released last month, the Human Rights Watch said Israeli authorities are committing crimes against humanity of apartheid and persecution. The 213-page report titled, A Threshold Crossed: Israeli Authorities and the Crimes of Apartheid and Persecution should be read by every world leader in order to understand the gravity of the situation, said the human rights body.

    Ali, known for her roles in Rangreza and Saraab, announced the news on social media, sharing pictures from her intimate Nikkah ceremony. However, she did not reveal details about her husband.

    The bride looked radiant in a silver grey outfit with smokey eyes.
